Thanks so much for the video and all of the kind words! Love to hear you had a good first impression with the beta and excited to see your full review once we get into EA or full 1.0 release later this year!
That’s all I ever wanted, a game to play with a couple of buds. So happy to see this game living on like this. Don’t have time for MMOs anymore, got the founder edition on PS5 this winter to try it out and it has been fun, so I’m excited to see Echoes later this summer on PS5! I’ll putz around and get some trophies before this current version dies.
I had some mild interest in this game, but didn't think I was going to end up playing it despite how fun it looked, because yeah I'm just beyond fed up with live service games. But with this shift? I'm absolutely picking it up. I might even be able to rope some friends into it. It's a good direction and I really hope it pays off for them to the point they keep going forward with this direction for their future games as well.
I agree with you, I'm sick of the mmo, cash shop, battlepass type games. Give me a loot progression game where the loot actually drops from defeating enemies and quests, instead of buying loot from a store. I will definitely be buying this title since it's $25 and I hope it helps these indie guys out. I actually feel sorry for them for what DE did to them. Airship worked hard on this title, I hope they have success.
I still feel robbed regardless for supporting and paying for the exalted version cause now there giving everything in the game for $25 for everyone and i get it what happen here but where’s my $150 worth in this version they should of gave us something on top for those that went the extra mile that you won’t get for the for the the $25 version imo.
Its a rough situation for sure. Putting that tier of founder in the credits or something would help. Like most kick starters do. But it was either this or the game would just be shut down. There was no winning for you at this point. If it shut down you wouldn't be getting that money back either.
For a while, maybe. I feel like they're on the right track. There aren't enough good multiplayer games that aren't cash grabs. If they can solidify a good experience, it might bring this back from the grave. People don't have the time for MMOs these days. Creating a distilled experience for 4 player coop is 💲

Nice! I'm also very happy about the full transition to single player, and can't wait to try it out once it's out.

I hope they do something to make it up to y'all, cause that's definitely shitty.

It never stood a chance. 😂😂
dead game.. digital extremes bailed when they saw the player count
more like tencent bailed since they the one who own DE.
You are wrong
