I was scrolling down on TH-cam when I came across your video. I am preparing for CPE Test and I find it hard to keep going because of all the things I have to do for school sometimes, but you have made my day! Your words are stimulating and full of energy -it looks like you truly care about your students! Greetings from Mexico
Oh wow! Thanks for such lovely feedback!! The very best of luck with your exam and I hope other videos on this channel can help you to prepare well for it!
I am currently preparing for CPE at the age of 13. Your video really helped me boost my confidence and I also wanted to thank you for taking the time and effort to film this amazingly helpful video, I'm sure it'll help many people in need of it
Thanks so much for your invaluable advice! I've passed my CAE with A, and now I'm considering taking CPE. The information you've shared is immensely helpful. Have a great day!
This is so true! I’ve already taken the exam and opposite the building we where in, there was a block of flats being built. Can you imagine all the noise of the drilling?! I couldn’t concentrate at all, especially in the reading and listening. What a nightmare! Funnily enough, there’s some sort of construction work near where I live now and even though it’s annoying, now I can see it as an opportunity to practise even harder. Your video is such an inspiration! Thanks a lot!
Ohhhh I can't imagine the stress you must have felt in that moment, it's awful!! Thanks for your lovely feedback and glad you found the video helpful! :D
This video is amazing, you're such a genius, I wonder why not a lot of people have seen it and liked it!. But myself I watched it from start to finish all ears ❤ and I think it's a masterpiece 🎉
Like your entire youtube channel, this video is very interesting and constructive for the exam. What an entertaining, simple and good way to learn English!
@@SIMPLYENGLISHEDINBURGH I really appreciate you mentioning something concrete. I have always wondered how many hours or how many exam papers does it take to pass this exam. I've got a slight idea now. Many thanks!
Hello! I have found your account recently and I enjoy your videos a lot. :D Would you be so kind and please help me? I am 16 years old and I am interested in attempting either CAE or CPE Cambridge exam next year however I am not quiet sure, if I am ready for it. I live in Czech republic and I talk with my Czech friends in informal English for fun all the time but in my vicinity there are no native speakers and I will not be able to stay in any English speaking countries until the exam comes. I would like to attend the exam preparation course next autumn because of that but I don't feel like my effort is good enough. Would you, please, have any ideas for me how could I improve my language to the point I'd be confident enough to try it?
Hi Marie! Many thanks for your lovely comment :) Please send me a message on Instagram and I would be more than happy to point you in the right direction! x
It all depends on the student. Many of my students live in the UK, work in jobs where they speak English 8hrs per day and many have native English speaking partners so that would be a totally different case to someone who doesn't live/work in an English speaking environment. I would roughly say it takes a year of preparation from C1. Hope that helps!!
Hi Roua! The exam is the Certificate of Proficiency in English by Cambridge. It's a 4 part exam- Speaking, Reading and Use of English (which please note are marked separately even though you take that part together!), Writing and Listening. 🎉🎉🎉I too the CPE exam and made it thanks to Mr Clark who helped me with tutoring after studying with him for two weeks. He provided me with tips and questions which greatly helped me.I want to recommend you all to him he has the key to success in his hands. After writing for 4 times I made it thanks to him.

Thank you very much and what is the number of hours of cpe preparing course?

Please what are the sections of cpe and the full name of this certificate?

Where can I download the marking scheme and how do I know I am doing a good writing?? Thanks!!
Download the marking scheme from the Cambridge website. In terms of the writing, I would always recommend that you get a tutor to correct it for you!
Could you take the cpe exam from any part of the world
Yes- there are testing centres worldwide :)

Nice work on passing!
This might be a bit off-topic, but would you mind telling me the name of the song playing during the first 40 seconds? Thanks a lot!
Cooool! But I'm not ready at all hahahaha
