- On the spiritual path, our calling is the echo of the arrival. For a long time, the calling and the arrival are two different things. The arrival seems to be somewhere in the future. Our path is that the calling is more and more realized as the arrival.
Only when energy changes, life changes. The meaning of everything lies in its existence. At a certain point, everything makes sense.

Yeah. I get that sense, too. That the present is the echo of the future.
I had an experience, when I was 5, where I felt so clearly and deeply that I was being watched, and loved, and held. And I thought that which was watching me was god. Then at 42 I had an experience where many memories of the past were unlocked and came up to be processed. I met my 5 year old self in that process, and held her. And I realized that when I was 5, the one holding me was my future 42 year old self. The echo and the call are both the past and the future at the same time. LOL, that was a really long, and long distance, phone call.
Beautiful! I have had very similar experiences for the past 20 years. Different past moments where I realized later that it was my future self I was seeing and sensing. Each one of these full circle moments have been transformational.
Yes, so beautiful. For me, a moment of connection (picking up the phone call) came at age 53: my childhood experiences of oneness came flooding back, and I also foresaw my future. I'm still seeking that future. Though part of it has come true, parts of my vision still feel outside of reach. And I wonder if some of these callings never become embodied in this lifetime. But I'll keep going. I want to pick up that phone call!
The way I express this understanding Thomas, as a visionary artist myself, the PATH is likened to the pathway of birth, the karma is the labour pains we all endure, and the arrival of the new life brings euphoric love & joy - I agree we are not there yet, but no one can stop it coming, just like labour, it is nature, and prophetic promise. We play it out, in time. The echo becomes the call. Eventually.

Yes!! So many lessons that seem to only be learnt via pain/experience. We can talk it til the cows come home but it doesnt intergrate until we feel it and transcend it. Or at least that is how I see it.An intergration of what was always there..waiting.
How amazing it will be to sit at that point where everything is apparent. I have passed through that point at times, having ahhhh ha moments, where everything I knew was in obvious order, but having that point of view ends as soon as you try to explain it to someone.
That is a great realization, that the caller and the called are the same person!
In The Matrix movie, it strikes me in three ways, that the people of Zion, (the last human city), are one being, that the team on the Nebuchadnezzar are one being, and thirdly that the real world character and their Matrix avatar are one being.
In the third reflection, that each character and avatar are one person was brought to mind as you were talking I was remembering the first scene of Trinity, who escaped the Agent by jumping to a neighboring building, crashing through the stairwell window; then stopping to take aim at any agent that may have followed her. Trinity come to a stop, laying at the foot of the stairs with guns ready, and she's saying to herself, "Get Up Trinity, Get up Trinity, GET UP!". "Get Up" seems to be Trinitys' calling in the end.
When I get a moment away from the Agents that say get a job, pay the bills, buy, consume, buy more, I think my higher self would be yelling to me, "Connect Richard, Connect Richard, CONNECT!". lol

Totally, we are at a horrible stage in the process of the human condition. Yes, there are some DNA and mutations taking place, filtering it out. I filtered some shit out today as a matter a fact, it's great cuz then we move forward not stagnating or back peddling.

How can you speak of "arrival" when you have taught that we walk forever, that it's never been about arriving????
This is not an either / or, but a both / and. Both is right on different levels of the experience of reality.
