It’s always good to see your comments looks like the Channel is getting bigger we will have more people who get our hummer. Hope you hav a good night ✌️✌️✌️
I know. I think that's my favorite, but I will watch the others, too. I love your content and your knowledge, makes watching fun. Keep up the good work as long as it is fun for you.
nyl lor I have seen ppl commenting (on others ppls films not BBD:s ) about their own stuff and how they lost the storageroom. It all was calm and polite from both buyer and earlier owner.
@@imperialpresence3331 Yeah it's like cutters on the lathe I used to operate, will cut through steel all day long but drop it on the floor and it shatters.
The Siam silver pin is what is referred to as Nielloware. The piece is beautifully colorful, which will help it. Likely valued around $20. Sadly, brooches have somewhat fallen out of favor with today's jewelry buyers. Necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings are still selling relatively well. Looks like you did fine at $250., considering the Samsonite, furniture, case and so on, there's no doubt your money was in there. Maybe invest in a diamond tester. They're relatively inexpensive on Ebay, easy to carry in your pocket and come in handy. In case you come across bonafide, antique jewelry, say of the Victorian era, many pieces weren't marked for precious metal content, or have had their marks fade with age and use. Gold was "sometimes" covered in silver, to stay in keeping with the trends of the day. Modern jewelry tends to be the other way around, with gold on silver. We enjoy accompanying you on your adventures and thank you for sharing.
Thanks for sharing such wonderful information, Connie. I also learned a lot from it. I love the pin from Siam and am surprised it's only valued at about $20.
The late Joan Rivers produced many variations of Faberge Eggs over the years via her costume jewellery company (she actually owned real pieces of Faberge which is what inspired her).
@S CT, I find this tragically sad also. It's like someone is picking through a person's life. It's like no thought of the person is taking place & they're finding joy in picking at their bones. It's simply tragic to me. Of course there are so many stories that could go along with the storage items. It didn't necessarily have to belong to the people who put it there - they could have been thieves. With that, I realize I'm painting a picture from my own imagination. However, I guess when I saw the picture albums that humanized it even more for me. That was someone's life sitting on that floor and I don't think anyone puts their personal items in a storage locker except out of necessity.
I don’t know those people talking about shady people putting things in their pocket. With such a small amount in the locker did you bring them. Take purses to your wife to see if real or not.
No. He didn't get taken. This is an Auction. You bid on the Units. It is you that says yay or nay on it. It is a chance that you have to take. Nice job guys. 💖💖
Yeah you’re lucky I’m able to put up a video I don’t know how to do any of that stuff thank you for watching though I always have fun making videos ✌️✌️✌️
Those electric car keys are a good sell on eBay cause people buy them and get new chips put in cause they cost a ton if you lose your key and have to buy one from a dealer just an fyi I’ve sold a lot of them
Gold filled sells for me really well, Also look for gold filled over sterling silver. Also, stuff newspapers or plastic bags just anything to fill the handbags so they stand up makes them like people can see how the handbag looks.
I saw that unit listed - too much of a gamble for me - LOL Glad you didn't take a loss. let us know tomorrow what profits you get on the gold and diamonds - Thanks for a great video
Hi Dave. Do you double check the personal stuff for gift cards? (LOL! Then, I heard your friend mention it at the end!) I wonder if it wouldn't be easier for you to put the camera on a tripod when you are filming a storage locker clean out? You could go faster and not have one of your hands occupied with the camera. Congratulations on all the jewelry!
those 2 are probably their own best friends now since he called the other ones out about not trusting them as much. Friends and assholes are alike some are shittier than others.
If you place base makeup foundation on your hand and rub in before going or while your there if u rub jewelry on it if it turns black it gold rather plated or not its gold easily keep n mind tip
Diamonds aren't brittle, there is very little materials that can damage a diamond, they are the hardest gemstone by far, hence the reason the are used for diamond drilling and glass cutting..
There was enough stuff to get his money back. Even the old electronics will bring a bit of money. The gold might bring over $50. He might not make over 100% return but he will not lose money. The CZ's still bring money in jewelry.
I enjoyed the video. Just wondering why some people rent units so big with just a little bit of stuff. At first I was thinking maybe they had other stuff in there and took it out but seems like the stuff they left they would have made room for it. Anyone have an idea?
The purse that had the egg in it is not real the serial numbers also comes onThe knock off. If you can take it to the local Coach or Louis Vuitton store
That's incorrect. Wurtzide boron nitride is18% stronger than a diamond. Lonsdaleite is 56% harder than a diamond. Q-carbon is the hardest substance known to man. Able to withstand more pressure than the previous two and a diamond combined. Have a great day. ✌
I think you need to do some research on diamonds Dave. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diamond - Diamond is the hardest known natural material on both the Vickers scale and the Mohs scale. Diamond's great hardness relative to other materials has been known since antiquity, and is the source of its name. You will not harm a true diamond by stepping on them or having them driven over. Fake diamonds are more brittle.
Yeah that comment made me cringe. Your music teacher would've been very disappointed. At that size possibly a cello, but not with shape. You talked about the going through all of the pockets and totally blew off the suitcase.
Get the jewelry checked out (real stuff). The one you shown "Siam" sterling silver with jade remarkably it has value , take it to a jeweler or an antique place, and get it checked out. Who knows you could have some valuable items there? The other jewelry (costume) remarkably they do hold some value, especially if they were made 1900's through the later part of the 1960's. Those you take to a consignment place or an antique to get them checked out, or you can look up on line costume jewelry.
I wouldn't buy a storage unit pay 200 dollars for it. Not knowing what in the storage unit. Must be nice paying for something not ever seen. Wish I had money to throw away
sometimes its not about money its about the fun, maybe you buy a video game system for more than that and its fun well to treasure hunters this can be fun, not every storage locker is a win but it might be fun, I think this guy needs to learn a bit more, why would someone buy a locker this big to store what could fit in the back of a truck? they probably knew they were behind in payments so they came and got the good stuff and just let the rest go. You really have to be able to read intent, also the storage locker people could have added that guitar case just to drive up the price of that unit , they are shady people.
When growing up my favorite game show was Kink or Dink with Bob Barker. Thank you for bringing back those wonderful memories.
It’s always good to see your comments looks like the Channel is getting bigger we will have more people who get our hummer. Hope you hav a good night ✌️✌️✌️
Great video! Thanks for letting us watch. Love the stone jewelry!
It is amazing what you can find in a storage auction ✌️✌️✌️
I know. I think that's my favorite, but I will watch the others, too. I love your content and your knowledge, makes watching fun. Keep up the good work as long as it is fun for you.
Great video of your finds. Best wishes that the gold and diamonds bring you some $$$. They look really nice. 😁❤❤. Thanks for taking us along.
Loved the one take filming. Dan and his wife seem like really nice people.
Great Video .......I always learn new things !!
Very interesting watching, only you need to invest in a stand for your camera..... be so much easier on you and us. Thank you
enjoyed your content but the lack of quality of recording and one handedness was just frustrating.
I wonder if the people who lost their storage units ever come across the video of other people who bought them going through the belongings...
I wondered the same thing.
nyl lor I have seen ppl commenting (on others ppls films not BBD:s ) about their own stuff and how they lost the storageroom. It all was calm and polite from both buyer and earlier owner.
Why not let the lady hold the camera and leave you both hands free.
she wasn't doing much else
Good cliffhanger Dave!! Can't wait till tomorrow now lol...thanks for sharing!!
Nice small (jewellery) finds, hope you find some more treasures. The Garmin's & electronics should do well also.
Love the videos cant wait to see more much respect from England 👍👍👍👍
I will keep everyone posted ✌️✌️✌️
The jewelry was awesome to see! Glad you got some gold and it looks like a few other treasures! Thanks for sharing!
Recommend gloves team...you putting your hands in strange bags...never know what might be in there..better.safe than sorry
Diamonds are the most toughest natural substance on the planet. Only another diamond can cut another diamond
breaking a diamond is not the same as cutting one
@@imperialpresence3331 Yeah it's like cutters on the lathe I used to operate, will cut through steel all day long but drop it on the floor and it shatters.
lol I thought it was funny when he said Diamonds were fragile Like your channel
Brittle diamonds??? LOL Not sure where you get your diamonds from, but maybe you should shop around a little more!
although real diamonds are tough they can easily be broken along their cleavage lines.

Sold a bunch of it today I’m gonna put the video up tonight thanks for the information about the pin

Thank you for watching I feel I got lucky on this one ✌️✌️✌️

Fun locker Dave!
Great little scores
You never know what you’re going to find i try to buy quality
That SS pin from Siam is very old. The name was changed to Thailand in 1939. It should be worth a decent price.
Great vid. Enjoyed it.

Excellent content! Just earned yourself a sub!
you can sell the git case for a quick $ 50 there is 1/5 th of your return and whatever the gold and diamonds are worth.
Next video showed what I got for the gold
@@bluebusdave2529 just finished watching. Great turn.....

Hope the gold pays for the locker, you had some pretty finds, shame about the guitar not being in the case. Ty Dave great video.
I would if the diamonds are good they came from the guitar case I will find out tomorrow ✌️✌️✌️

Most of the time when a necklace or bracelet's latch is marked 14 or 18k the only thing that is gold are the latches.

I need to know where you're selling all these old pins.
I don't see anyone buying these things
IF YOU TELL SOMEONE HOW HONEST YOU ARE, YOU'RE COVERING UP YOUR TRUE INTENTIONS
Check stiches on purses if all even and name on zippers that tells if real or fake if fake stiches will be uneven

Best tip for pickers: "With back packs you have to go through every compartment." Yeah.
yeah it was a bit sexist of him assuming because she was a girl she could tell if a purse was a knockoff lol jk
The guy in the black and gray flannel sounds just like Howard Stern.
Where is the crystal ball what went with it??
Why did you say diamonds are brittle? They are one of the hardest things on earth. Only diamonds cut diamonds.
Hmm... I KNOW you know that
Correct I noticed he said that too!
Because they are brittle. Very hard, but if you strike them right, they do not dent. They crack.
I’ve always heard they cut diamonds with diamonds...
Doesn’t really matter. I wasn’t being mean. Just found that odd. But it’s all good- I’m not a diamond expert and don’t plan to be one. 😊👍
Reed & Barton does sell silver and Sterling Silver.
Read and Barton always makes good quality I think it’s one of the better silverplate companies ✌️✌️✌️
Diamonds aren't brittle, there is very little materials that can damage a diamond, they are the hardest gemstone by far, hence the reason the are used for diamond drilling and glass cutting..
If you think diamonds are brittle, I have a whole bunch you can buy lol
Don’t discount the worth of that guitar case. They are $$$. If it is in good shape It should bring you decent money.
I am pretty sure you just got the Storage house special. Bamboozled by the storage company.

Really? That big of a shed for that small amount of stuff? I think those owners know what they will put in there and how much they will ask for it.
Always diamond test a stud earring. Even if the frame is gold the stones usually are not.
Sold the diamonds in the next video
I think you meant a cello? Violas aren't that big; they're about has big as a violin.
Do the owners of the lockers pillage them bf the auction?
I think you need to do some research on diamonds Dave. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diamond - Diamond is the hardest known natural material on both the Vickers scale and the Mohs scale. Diamond's great hardness relative to other materials has been known since antiquity, and is the source of its name.

They crack and break all the time being so hard is what makes them brittle✌️✌️✌️
Diamonds are very hard and can cut glass.
These people who do all this one handed takes to long. There has to be a better way
hope you google all your finds,...Reid and Barton is expensive
I check the dates on the coins. Make money on old pennies.
I get my kids to do that
Its not a Viola, a viola is just a tad bigger than a violin.
Get someone else to hold camera
Yeah that was pretty bad camera skills on that video
Right
It was brutal.
Tripod in the future
$250? Risky. Must be wanting a treasure hunt..
You are right it was risky just looked like the things in that room came from money from the outside before the sale ✌️✌️✌️
That's a hoarders closet they have no more space at home after shopping they put this in storage...
Why did they rent such a big storage for so little stuff?
wedwedge tea pot price would be close to 100,00 dollars i broke the lid on my sister inlaw,s cost 80,00 to replace,.big money in those suckers,.lol
That hard shell guitar case goes for $50 used
Wedgewood is hugely collectable
Bad camara work. It's hard to even continue watching
Not jade it looks like emerald or something that looks a lot like it.
..good buy..
Wedge wood coffee pot goes for around $80 to $100
Gotta spend money to make money 🤙
Be cool to know how you actually make out on this one.
I am taking it to the market tomorrow will find out how we do sooner then later ✌️✌️✌️
21:40 gift cards in the garbage bag "trust your friends"
✌️
If diamonds are brittle than everything else is ?
One word. Tripod.
I definitely will get one thank you
Why would ppl storage small items in a Big Storage unit ?? Those pennies must be copper or have some values. The Bell looked like Sterling..
Thank you the bell was Sterling
The case is worth maybe $65.00, and it has a Fender sticker.
I was really surprised that there wasn’t a guitar in it
Thank you for the information ✌️✌️✌️
I mean cello a viola is only slightly bigger than a violin
I was just lucky that there was gold in it
pennies are still a thing???
I give them to my kid. He has to count them all and we take it to the bank - over a 100 bucks his last trip to the bank
Hope you find a tripod for the camera
I do need a tripod for the camera ✌️✌️✌️
Viola? I thought it's called violin. Garmit? Lol
✌️✌️✌️
Violas and violins are two different instruments. The case was much too big for a violin.
