Found this tutorial and decided to make it, materials cost me $269, the paint, flanges and dust covers cost the most, but we’re so proud of how ours turned out, she’ll be the star of Halloween!
@@IsaacAlexanderDIY Of course I’ll send it to you now, luckily I just moved into my new build and homes are still being built, so we grabbed wood and styrofoam to build the Tombstone for free 👍🏻
I couldn't resist, I had to try this one, and even though I had no clue what I was doing, I followed this to a 't' and my word, it's fantastic!!!! The neighbors have been gawking at it since it went out. You are a brilliant teacher at these!!!! Thank you for leading me through what will most likely be my favorite Halloween decoration for years.
This is so awesome! I’m so happy you made one as well! I’m happy I could help! Would love to see how it came out. If you’d like to share pics my Facebook is named the same as my TH-cam
Another option instead Monster Mud .. is trailer bed spray. They are used for protecting pick up truck trailer beds. So I sprayed it on the drop cloths. A bonus - they are totally fine for the inclement weather … it holds in place very quickly & easy to spray paint over. (I find mixing monster mud is time consuming & wasteful). Spray bed liner works great. (Just suggesting another option )
The spray on bed liner foam holds in place & is very rigid. I find it immensely effective and easier to use then mixing up Monster mud. It’s comes in a spray can and of course is totally water proof (since it’s made to protect pick up truck bed liners ). So just spray it in the position that you want … it’s dries super fast & spray paint it after ! Done
@@TellyRemandecheck my latest comment. Sorry it went to a different message string. It holds in place & is so much easier to use & less heavy once sprayed on. Can find it anywhere. Walmart or Home Depot.
She is absolutely gorgeous!!! I am so thankful I found you on TikTok. You gained another follower on both platforms. I love the way you do not gatekeep your creations. Please never stop creating your amazing works of art doll. Happy, spooky season to you.
Thank you so much for this kind comment! I definitely don’t want to gatekeep and love being able to show others how to make their own decorations! Thank you for subscribing!
So everyone interested in doing this project, it's pretty fantastic to do. I'm currently in the middle of completing my version but I have a few things to say. If you don't have these scrap materials around it can get quite costly. All things purchased at home depot besides the tools I already had and scrap wood and bucket I had laying around I spent a little over $200 to do this. Just giving a heads because I didn't realize how much things were till I was in the middle of picking up all the materials and wanted to follow through with it. Regardless, when it's done it will be a rewarding project and you can resuse again for next season. Excited to finish this and move on to the next thing! Cheers!
A beautiful work of art, Isaac. 😮 So incredibly realistic, especially the tombstone! 🪦 Your attention to detail is beyond compare, dude. Using the Loctite spray adhesive for the spider web is brilliant! 🕸 I’m amazed at your skill and precision! 🤯 Thanks so much for sharing your talents!
Your mastery of choosing from among different techniques is evolving. After watching your videos over time, I love how every new creation builds on knowledge obtained from previous projects.
Mr. Isaac Alexander! I’ve been watching you for a while now and I must say all your creativity is bountiful and amazing!! Since I love the art of filmmaking, your ideas help me to start building set designs 😏🙏🏼 And even create things for halloween 🎃
This was "Hauntingly" Good!! One of the best. The fine details really brought it to life. Better than the things you can buy in the store. Thanks for sharing your creativity!
I saw your video and it motivated me to build one for my own Halloween decoration. I then showed it to my college. We decided to build them with our classes. I thought you would like to hear that your art inspired a school project in Germany.
Thank you so much ! I built two large sheds, I have a tall deck that provides storage space underneath it (20ft x 10ft), a walk-in crawlspace, and an offsite large unit
I love this design so much I wish it could be my tomb stone ...not that im wanting to kick the bucket anytime soon. I think it's a beautiful work of art! ❤
I just love watching these videos!!! I will never make any of these things, cause I dont have room to store them... But it is very interesting to see you make these awesome creations!
I’ve made many PVC framed characters over the years but I stopped gluing them together by year two. I tape all the joints and am able to take it all apart for flat storage
I always love all the details of your projects. But i know if I turned around in the dark and saw this I’d be startled lol. Next year I’m gonna come visit and see it in person!
Not only are you gorgeous, you are so amazingly talented……a TRUE MASTER!! She is absolutely beautiful…….a gorgeous masterpiece!! Thank you so very much for sharing your wonderful talents with us!!! 🙏❤️😍
Wow this one is so scary , looks creepy , I love her! Good job . The trick of the adhesive is new to me , very cool . Thank you for sharing all your tips.
Very impressive. I can appreciate the artwork that went into this. Although, I don't celebrate Halloween. I did, however, send it to some of my friends that do celebrate. JOB WELL DONE
Great Stuff foam is a great sculpting material. just a quick tip, after 4 minutes, try spraing the surface with water (I just use a spary bottle) and you can just push the parts protruding too far into place. I love the concept! Very creative, and thanks for the monster mud recipie!
Amazing! I started making my own monsters last year. I don't quite know what I'm doing yet, but I love making Halloween props, might try to make this someday. Pretty good video, I think I could make my own version. Probably not this year, busy with the monsters I already started but its something to put on the list.
Might look at the “oops!” paint at the big box stores for a gray/dark exterior paint (or have them tint a lighter oops color) and save at least half what a new gallon would cost.
Wow, honestly hands down the best diy Halloween skeleton I have ever seen! It's so legitimately creepy but hauntingly "beautiful" at the same time. The saying on the tombstone is so sad as well! Epically cool! ☠️ I think I would want to leave her up year round! 😁
Thank you so much for that! I do agree, it’s creepy but hauntingly beautiful! I came up with the quote for the tombstone while making her. It was so fitting. A beautiful yet tragic tale
How strong are the skelly forearms? They are usually pretty cheaply made, and I'm surprised they can even hold up that hourglass. End result though is beautiful!

Great design concept. Also, Locktight spider webs! Doh, of course. 🤦♂️ That tip alone was worth the price of admission.
Thank you so much! Glad you liked that tip
Brilliant idea, indeed!!! I’m using that on the decorations by the trees in our front garden instead of that wretched cotton nonsense.

It's still cheaper than if you had to buy 1..I can't fathom how much they would sell this for...

@IsaacAlexanderDIY Question..if I make the monster mud could I roll layers of it on my cloth carport and harden the top??

This is fantastic. My only hesitation to make this right now is storage. With all the parts cemented together, seems like it doesn’t break down.
Correct, the statue would have to be stored as one piece, the base would be stored as another
