Really liked this one and great you got the 47 with BR blue-and-grey Mk IIs in tow! Some of those freights nearly assumed American proportions!!! Thanks for filming and uploading! 👍👍👍👍
You put together a great video Paul, this is a excellent place for our hobby, I was there two weeks ago but I'm behind with uploading my footage. You take care Mike.
@@DugmerJunction apparently there is fish in them pools but it’s owned by the local farmer who doesn’t like people going near them never mind fishing in them. Talking to a local while we were there !!!!
@ aww that’s a shame fishing and railways together is always enjoyable. I used to fish close to Westbury station so you could have the best of both worlds
@ That sounds great 👍. There are ponds to fish the north end of Acton Bridge Station only a field away from the main line !!! Just something I noticed while visiting

The 47 ended up failing at Stafford !! Another one was sent to rescue
I got 57 003 thru Chesterfield a hour later or so, and she looked stunning
Great vid and looks like a great location, if it does nt rain!

Chorlton is abit open so not ideal in the rain !!

@@arthurgrowler5749 thanks Paul. Been looking on google earth, looks like there is a footpath from Chorlton Lane?
