  • Continuing the theme of the budget aquarium I wanted to try a cheap aquarium background, using an old LED light strip. What do you think of my LED light hack?

You’re the first I’ve seen wrap the lights around something. I was thinking you could use heater suction cups to attach. Thank you for this, and your puffers are adorable.

I am looking to do a background like this using a transparent cling on film with LED light bar. Thanks for the video brother.

Love the blue light with the orange behind.

The orange with no main light on looks really nice, it shows the scape off well in silhouette 🙂

Makes such a difference with the strip and looks brilliant. Mine around the tv may have to go on the discus tank now

A cutaway to the Pea puffers... Who could have guessed? LOL. The lights are pretty.

Saw someone's channel the other day and he used a frosted look background, quite light in colour so it wouldn't totally block light. I imagine that might look pretty cool with a small light behind it, maybe yellow/orange to look like a sunrise/sunset.
Great idea to play around with though.

Yes - I was hoping I had some frosted vinyl left over but alas no.
