Love your videos and channel just watched for the first time today your s good mechanic I can tell I am one also keep them coming sincerely yours Ed James
i have a komatsu fg18ht-17 that intermittently will stall and/or wont start. i traced with a multi meter to figure out that at those times, the fuel solenoid isnt getting voltage. if i run 12v directly to it, it starts. I am thinking that the ecm is preventing the solenoid from energizing; possibly due to a faulty sensor (cam, crank, oil, o2)... hopefully not a faulty ecm. i have an innova 5410 as well as the komatsu adapter but unfortunately the 5410 wont read it.... says not supported. any suggestions/insight? came across your video in my hunt for info. great stuff. thanks
Hello! Excuse me, my english is NG, but how named yellow stuffs that you connected to wires (without cut\extract them from coonectors)? And where i can buy them? Thank you.

A faulty crank or cam would take out spark.. check the relays and and fuses.
@@forkliftgeek10 cool. thanks. I appreciate it
In that you not need special harness to connect OBDII reading codes
+Antonio Pagan for a komatsu you would need a cable adapter.
ForkliftGeek I founded on ebay?
+Antonio Pagan I don't think so.
where is the one port
@@acevaldez835 the scan port connector on kumatsu is on the frame just under the floor pan. Left side
What’s this scanner? A regular OBD2 ? I need helppp!!! I got check engine light on one of these don’t even show a code on the display
If you don't have the adapter cable.for komatsu, you have to do the pedal dance to acquire the code.

They are piercing probes. You can get them from amazon.
Basically you bypassing the signal wire on MAF sensor to ECM. Right?
No, he's bypassing the OPEN in the maf signal wire. He essentially ran a new wire, but yes if that's what you meant.......
