    Thanks Andy.Good watch.Your net looks as though it spooks fish considerably.I get the floatability release in the water aspect but could be a tippet breaker on a short line even with a soft rod.

    Personally I like glass and not just for fly rods, however for lightweight small stream fly fishing I dont think that you can beat split cane. Can't ever understand why trout fishermen are so anti grayling, they're lovely fish to catch. Enjoyed the video fishing waters that most of us can only dream about.

    Small stream dry fly fishing, has to be my favourite way to fish & on a beautiful glass rod too Andy, I have a CTS 7.6ft 3 weight glass rod myself but don’t take it out as often as I should, think I’ll definitely have to bring it out in the future

    Hi Andy, always a pleasure to watch your well presented and informative video.. That first fish led you a merry dance and what a beauty for such a small water. I am old enough to remember when glass was the newest innovation in fly fishing. It did/does have a certain finesse to it but it was sloppy and heavy and I was glad when boron, graphite etc was invented but on dries fibre glass has such a soft forgiving tip not many flies get pulled out. It brings back memories but I prefer the modern rods overall. Tight lines and thank you for your work.

    @tedscott1478 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    If you put the net under the water first and pull the fish rewards it, it will think its weeds or cover and dive in.
    If you stab at it with the net you'll spook it and scare it off...
