I saw the cat and I clicked 😹. I also have an adventure cat who hikes with me and my dog all the time who’s very special being. Super sweet and mellow.
You will see Cesar how special cats are. I had one for 14 years who was and always will be regarded as my guardian angel as he loved all animals. I still miss him every day!

My cats follow me around our property like a dog. I get up, she gets up, I sit down, she finds a spot to sit.
I agree with the commenters, the cat chooses the person, not the person chooses the cat, and the cat is the leader, the cat has a different psyche and is not submissive and subservient like a dog, it looks more or less like in this joke, the dog thinks this way, the person gives me food, takes me for a walk, takes care of me, then a person must be God, while a cat thinks this way, a human feeds me, takes care of me, takes care of me, gives me treats, then I must be God and I am God, and that's it there is a fundamental difference 😃😀, besides, as in the next joke, half joking, half serious, we live in the cat's house and not the cat in our house, the cat is the king and we humans, well, his servants 💯👍🐱🐈😀 I wish you a wonderful adventure with a cat and a great friendship is different than with a dog, it is invaluable 💌🫶👌
My wife and i started watching Cesar in 2005! We used Cesar's training with our cat and dogs. She was the biggest dog in the pack and our pack was balanced and healthy!

Dogs are terrific and cats are - by nature - magical. So pleased Cesar has found himself a "magical cat, " (his words!) I've had cats and dogs all my life (now 80) and they always got along together just fine.

The Collab I've always wanted and needed. Jackson Galaxy teaching Cesar Millan how to p/u and hold a cat.
Yay! Cesar gets a cat (finally). Fluffly cats are generally calmer, so that's nice for dogs. LARGE fluffly cats like Maine Coons are especially nice and do well with dogs. I was cat person before I was a dog person and I have learned a lot from Cesar, so nice to see the cat thing happen. You kind of have to have your own cat to understand cats. Many do not do well with strangers-especially if they are not cat people. I used to have a special white cat myself and when I walked my brother's 80lb 1/2 APBT named "Shanti" off leash in the hood she would trot by all the cats with her tail in the air and they would arch their backs and hiss but she knew I loved cats and you can't hurt them and she proudly ignored. (My white cat Green and Shanti Om used to have staring contests, but that was shut downable.) I have really enjoyed cat and dog interactions. Congrats Cesar. It should be fun.
My Pitt bull mix adores cats. They don’t always love him back but he doesn’t try to eat them no matter how mean to him they are lol.
Manx are up there with Maine Coon for being the dogs of the cat world. A Manx was how I introduced my husband to cats and have kept him a cat dad. Cesar taught me how to be a dog mom.

13 years ago, while living in Mexico, my boyfriend and I got a dog, Coby, that we had no idea how to raise. Coby was a great dog then, as he is now, but his parents, not so good in the dog training arena. Thank God, you were on TV at that time and you helped us become better pet parents to Coby and spared us a lot of conflict between us trying to figure this out on our own. No touch, no talk, no eye contact is a classic. You can’t go wrong with this technique when meeting any animals. Thank you for this reminder.
Maybe Jackson Galaxy can teach you how to be with cats.,..starting with how to hold them.,..how to read their energy.,..you can learn so much from cats,..good luck 😻

I’ve been training my cat like Cesar does with dogs. The ssst sound and giving treats when he sits down patiently.
Cats are not to be trained to do tricks.
They are our equals and to be respected first and for all.

I am a HUGE Cesar fan! He is a role model for me but I am a cat person! He just did Rocky 4, if I can change, you can change, anybody can change! Cats!
I'm so happy for you Cesar!!! Vas a ver!!! Your gonna love that cat. I always grew up with cats and dogs in our yard, my dad was alot like you in a way. He always taught us how to treat animals with respect and to teach them their place in the home. With the cats, he always said, cats don't need protection from dogs, they can take care of themselves, and we lived in harmony with our 8 dogs and 4 cats, chickens, rooster and faisanes, peacock and any other dogs who wanted to join us!!! . Great childhood!
When I was younger,I had so many times where I to incorporate cats into my packs! Luckily I knew who you were Cesar, and I was one of the only ones in my family who knew how to properly introduce animals and control mine and their energy the proper way.
Let me tell you,when you introduce them properly into the pack no matter if it is just dogs or other animals as well.
Cats can turn out to be one of best pack team players! I absolutely love cats and I am so happy to see you introduce that beautiful animal into your pack!❤🐱

Cat's will follow the pack if they feel safe. Once Mr Millan understands cat's he will be blown away. They are amazing! Can't believe he's never had one? My cat's followed my Akitas through the snow it was awesome.

yay !! for you with the cat, cesar. as an owner of both a cat & a dog (dog - harry, a staffy bull terrier/english bull terrier cross (very submissive/loyal & faithful), & our cat (molly - a black & white domestic tuxedo who tries to play with our dog, but he (harry), still hasn’t worked out how cats work (they’ve been together with us for 6 years !!))

I use Cesar's dog training on my 2 cats, from 8 weeks old, to now almost 3. It is very effective for cats! Thank you for finally bringing a cat to the ranch. Cats are amazing! Just different than canine's. Love this!!!

Yes!! A cat! I have two cats and our big ole pit bull mastiff passed last year. He was not only huge, but Zeus was loved by the whole human and animal pack here. The cats would lay with him all the time and it was hilarious. Thanks Cesar. Love you 😘
Please learn how to hold the kitten with more respect. Like 3 times someone picked her up not gentle and she was scared… also get another cat or that’s not nice to her. The bird was scaring her too. Better human better planet
that's what I wanted to notice and I noticed that I also wanted to write that you shouldn't hold a cat like that because it's small and very delicate. I've had cats and dogs for several dozen years and on top of that this little cat was scared of the parrot that was pecking it there, that's my request and attention, more gentleness for this white kitten, more respect, and a cat will never be a dog because a cat has a different psyche than a dog, a cat has a character and will usually always do what it thinks, and when it wants it, not what it wants a person thinks, so keeping a dog on a leash must also be different from keeping a dog on a leash, definitely don't pull a cat on a leash, I love dogs but I love cats, I will watch it all carefully, I liked this cat very much.👍💯☺️😊🐱🐱🐈🐈🐈♥️♥️♥️♥️

I raised a newborn offspring tuxedo kitten, a runt of a feral family left behind many yrs ago. I only knew how to raise dogs, birds, turtles, and fish at the time. Not much abt cats. But Petco helped me out. I bottle fed her, and she became my first fur baby, she wanted to be every where I was. She acted like a dog, loved chasing paper balls and bringing them back to me, she growled when someone was about to knock on the door, she wld even answer when I wld call for her or ask her something😄, she later became a big sister to ~ our Akita pup, Staffi Pit (like Daddy), thn a few yrs later to our sons. Man she was the best kitty nightengale- nanny to our baby boys, but also to me &my husband when we were sick.
Whn the boys were older she loved playing video games with them. We were blessed with our fur babies who had long wonderful lives with us. Kitty girl lived the longest~ 18 1/2. She was the first into our lives and was the last of our fur babies to pass away,😢⚘💕,We still miss them all.
I never adopted anymore. 😕

Wow, you all do not understand cats yet. They need to feel grounded! So when you hold them, make sure their back paws are solid on your hands or arm. They will be much calmer, and more trusting if you ensure their back paws are grounded when you pick them up, otherwise it puts them under stress. Please put your hands under their back paws when you hold them and see how much better the experience is, for both you and the cat. I have a beautiful white cat and everyone in the neighborhood loves him. And he and I have an amazing bond and trust. He knows he cannot go outside when it is dark, and must come in before dark. He comes when I call him because I show him respect, love, and understanding. When a cat looks at you with love, it is indescribably heartwarming. Glad you are moving on and experiencing more love through animals, cats included.

I really love you passing the torch around to this new young pack of pack leaders! It’s so heart warming to see connected, deeply feeling and compassionate, yet non reactive young humans! You are bringing so much new life to that land, it looks so happy and vibrant, you are giving that land new purpose and meaning too! I have a question, how do you keep the coyotes away from the animals, especially the small doggies and now cat?

I’m a dog person with 2 cats that were my children’s childhood pets. My kids are grown & gone, but I still have the cats & they are 15 & 11 now. Cats are so different from dogs, but just as special. They are amazing & beautiful animals.
Cool!!! I just remember cats can be trained in same calm energy same way as with dogs... one must be pack leader.... I watch your show for fresh ideas... At one point I had 7 cats and now I have 4 seniors in my pack!!!

I love that you introduced a cat into yout life, but... there is so much to learn! Just one thing, when holding a cat it's better to support their behind. Something great to know about cats, closing both your eyes to them (a slow double blink) communicates trust and love. If a cat does that to you, you're in 😄❤

Lovely. We have a cat like that. Tolorates everything and still mouses outside. He does come inside during the day to eat and we actually gave up keeping him off the cou ter if we are not cooking. Lol. Since we gave up, he found a new spot.😂
