Really good instruction on how to change the oils! Do you have a link or name on the small fuel filters? The normal one I have tested is to long to fit properly below the fuel pet cock
Is the bike a restored one, or in original condition ? Greetings from the old world. In fact Switzerland. I' m a french talking swiss citizen, living in Vaud county. Main city is Lausanne, on the Lake Geneva shoreline.
Hi there, thank you for your time. I am thinking of buying a 1973 R75/5 that is for sale in my neighborhood. It as apex 28000KM. I don’t know the condition of the bike, the seller say it is in good running condition . So my big question is what you’d be able to fair price to buy this bike you think?
I just discovered your channel because I just purchased an airhead that needs a little bit of work and I am very grateful for your post. You have a wealth of knowledge and you deliver it perfectly. Thank you very much.
Good video! I changed engine and transmission oil on my R65GS but according to the shop manual they don't list oil capacity for the drive shaft which I found odd.
I have 2,73 r75 toasters and a 66 r60/2.
Thanks for the video. I have a R75/5 but with 1000cc engine that was just restored. I want to learn basic maintenance and your channel is perfect.
Thank you so much for this video! Going to upgrade all the plugs on my R60/5!
Glad I could help!
Thanks
Thank you!
Very nice. I’m trying to sell my 1977 R100RS to hopefully find a R75. I have it on my boring channel if you need help falling asleep.
Deal!
Excuse my ignorance: what is the reason for using magnetic drain plugs? Is it to catch unwanted particles?
All 4 Oils?... 5...you forgot the forks;) '76 R90s and '88 K-100 RS SE here...
Link to the drain plugs does not seem to work

My R65 is a 1987 model (mono). The magnetic plugs are sold only for models up to 1984. Do you know why? Will the set fit mine? Cheers
Beautiful bike, that would be hard to part with.
That’s a lovely bike , where was it for sale ?
Does anyone know where I can find info on the drain plug sizes for an r90/6? I want to upgrade mine to magnetic but I can't find info on this'

How do you know if you need a kit with or without the oil cooler kit?
does your bike have an oil cooler? like a radiator looking thing up front?
Did you sell the bank or is it still for sale?
its still for sale, but with fall riding in the midwest its hard to get rid of
Pretty bike. I'd be tempted if you were UK based.
