That was one of the best made videos on TH-cam, period! Great video and thank you! I haven't seen too many Ford's around here (Missouri). Mostly JD and IH, with a few Olivers and Whites. Uses to see a few MM, but haven't seen one in awhile.
The Ford Tractor dealers used to advertise on the entire back page of the Missouri Ruralist magazine in the early 70s. At least a dozen dealers went together on it and that wasn't all of them by far. In NWMo, there were 6 within a 90 mile radius. St. Joe Ford had a woman salesperson that was no pushover. Great to deal with. My Dad and Grandfather bought several trade ins from her in the 60s, used them clean/paint and resold them.
I am very sure. I have personal accounts, but nothing like sub-bots. Each child has one, need more kids, joking, definitely joking. But seriously and this a big problem with TH-cam and similar creators. My watches come from un-subscribers 96% if you believe that.
So the video? Did you like it? I have been doing compilations like this for a little bit now. Do you think that is what will help drive followers up? I have been at this for 7 years now. I want to think I have a clue, but still it has ups and downs. I wished I worked with a big subscriber team to know if that happens to them too.
Great video there are very few Ford tractors around here. Is brand loyalty the only reason for building Ford pulling tractors or are there certain advantages ? If I remember correctly they used a bored block instead of wet sleeves in their engines.
Hard to build a stronger engine than a 466 Ford. It is about the same level of effort to build an Orange one or Blue. JD and IH have parts more abundant, but JD needs extra work to get there. IH there are just so many not because they are perceived to be the best tractor to build on, but because there are so many aftermarket parts in abundance. Ford/New Holland is still one of the biggest in the world because of the NH brand. I wanted this video to just be Ford tractors. We will definitely do New Holland specific videos soon.
@@WWPTV I remember as a kid watching Lethal Injection phase two diesel super stock, TW 15 I think ,get unloaded out of a tandem axle grain truck with a winch. That would have been circa 1988
@@WWPTV The Genesis engine was based on the Brazilian built 7.8 truck engine. Very robust and power easily found in them to a point. The "World Engine", be it gas or diesel, 3,4,6 cylinder except the 6000, starting in 1965 had dry liners and cross flow heads, something that was just starting to catch on. IH started doing it in the 361 of the 806/1206; AC in the 190. Everyone else was still doing the siamese port style head. Deere got in with the Waterloo redesign around 1969. The cross flow head is where the power is made.
