    I'm in Africa and I have stopped wanting to date because of my weight. I never knew I would meet someone who put off dating because of weight, this feels good to watch. I wish I can afford this, I would be on the next flight to Turkey. Someone mentioned Clinic Hub and I'm praying one day I can afford it. Thanks Sue for sharing.

    Thank you for this video. I can empathise how your struggled as I have through my whole life. Up and down with weight but mostly up. Feeling low because of this and not living a full life. I'm planning on having a gastric sleeve soon as I need to get on with my body in a better and healthier way and you've done this. Well done to you. And thank you. Xo

    Thank you for this! I researched a lot for a year almost and I’m close to going to my surgery but I was feeling hesitant and this helped a lot. I’m actually going to Turkey to get mine done because it’s too expensive where I live and my insurance won’t cover it 😅

      Which city and hospital did you choose in Turkey and what is the process will you be following post op? Will you be staying in Turkey recovery? If you could please share some information I’d really appreciate it.🙏🏻

      @@helenb.5337 I actually ended up going to have it in the US. Medi-cal fully covers it so I get to do it here. I’ve met my surgeon already and he’s so nice 🥺 thank god. They seem to care more here

    Did your hair regrow? I am struggling a lot with protein intake and experiencing a lot of loss

      yes, it did! I found a magical shampoo that helped like a miracle, Davines-Naturaltech Energizing shampoo. would highly recommend it! I even have longer and full hair as of this year. if you can find it, definitely get your hands on it!

    How’s your gastric sleeve 5 years on?

    • @SueRibelle
      @SueRibelle  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      still the best decision of my life! still haven't had any tucking surgery. you gain a bit of the weight back but I'm still down 75 pounds so I'm definitely still advocating for it

    pls guide about lose skin. does one have to have operation to tighten the lose skin after weight loss?

    • @SueRibelle
      @SueRibelle  ปีที่แล้ว

      nope! it all depends on the level of discomfort you have with your skin. I wasn't too obese and I think I could manage my saggy skin. it's not that crazy to deal with. I still haven't had any surgery to "fix" it

    Okay I've been doing research and I'm trying to understand everything about having the surgery done but one thing that I'm curious about is if you had the surgery done three years ago why do you still have too much weight on you. I'm not trying to sound ugly I'm just curious because you should be like skinny as a rail by now. You should be like a hundred and fifteen pounds by now does the surgery not work that well?

    • @SueRibelle
      @SueRibelle  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      lol I already lost 90 pounds what are you talking about :D nobody becomes skinny let alone "skinny as a rail" especially if you don't get any tucking surgeries after wards. the surgery has an exact rate of weight loss to provide everyone, you lose 40 percent of the starting weight, and then gain 10 percent of the lowest weight you saw one year after having lost it all. so all in all, you will lose 34 percent of your starting weight.
      no morbidly obese person can be skinny when they lose 34 percent of the weight they weighed when they underwent a surgery

    Hi Sue, can you mention your e-mail address? I want to ask you some questions on a spesific topic, subtitle translator job. I guess you're the only actual person for me to consult on that. Btw, geçmiş olsun! 💚 Çok fresh görünüyorsun💚💚
