3 hours with a $10 clip-on desk fan pointed inside the boots after each session works just fine too... add 3 drops of tea tree oil per boot and they will actually smell rather nice.

Amazing catch! Mine by Everlasting Comfort is the best buy I've ever made! It dries most garments in 80 minutes only and takes care of those pesky smells and odors, leaving my ski boots smelling and feeling fresh, what's not to love!
We try to avoid ozone (super irritant for lungs and major contaminant in smog). I would be curious to see how deep it can sterilize in the liner) I suspect the drying aspect is the most important and the « sterilizing » part, just to seem cool. Should I invent the same thing but with a UV sterilizer ? at least you don’t contaminate your house !!!

after a skate session i put in a "2go refresh" overnight, and then they smell like flowers. they are absorbant, and remove that bad sweat smell, and replace it with the flower one :p

I picked up an ozone boot dryer locally and really just got it for the dryer and figured the "ozone" bit was just marketing. However my dad informed me that ozone is actually a component of smog and is an ion of oxygen that kills bacteria. That being said you absolutely would not want this in your car as it can be harmful if you breath it in a high enough concentration.

How does this differ from the Peet boot dryer that you can easily find on eBay/Amazon?

@@RicardoLino oh okay! Yeah, the guys from mushroom blading talked about using a Peet boot dryer in one of their gear talks.
Hopefully, you could review that product too.
This is also great for putting your sweaty helmets or pads in.
I have a Peet dryer and it's a lot simpler of machine (which is a plus in my book). It's essentially two heating elements that use the "hot air rises" principle to dry out your boots. It makes no noise whatsoever and you can let it running all the time. I don't know how that compares in effectiveness vs this machine that does that "ozone" thingy and then has a timer, but my experience with Peet has been very positive so far.

My pads would stink too. When me and my friend would be picked up we'd put our skates and pads in the car and the car would STINK like a dojo!

For some weird reason, skates are only item that goes on my feet that never get stinky, ever, i had like 5 pairs throughout my life and none of them stinked

Have you ever skated soft boots like the USD carbons etc? I find they get the stinkiest by far!
fair video: problems with putting liners in the freezer, my freezer is too small for that. I have food in it and these are too bulky, another piece of tech which will take up space, along with skates in the house. Nope, no good for me.
