I was there!! I wish I’d managed to go to all three nights but the tickets all sold out in seconds. I never thought I’d live to see some of those songs live - Hope For An Angel made me cry like a baby
I was there too and having seen Biffy many times live over the last 17 years or so I can honestly say this was the most emotional and special gig I have ever been to. I felt so privileged to have managed to get tickets. They were amazing! Thanks for helping me re-live it 😊 Mon the Biff!
I was at all 3 nights in London... night 1 was amazing you pretty much covered it. Night 2 VOB...best night of the 3. They had strings which is obviously needed for that album it literally brought tears to my eyes. A lot of people got engaged during the songs. The last song of the album was now the action is on fire Simon and James did a stage dive and they both ended up with their legs in the air and nearly face planted the floor. The second part of the set was a lot of songs with strings and it was just beautiful. The 3rd night I took my dad and son. That too was awesome. Infinity Land is such a journey from start to finish the highlights from the second set was Adored - where you could see Simon's wife taking photos of him and he seemed to be singing it to her. Machines where Ben come up from to sing backing for Simon. And many of horror where the sound of the crowd singing was beautiful. I am so glad I had the chance to attend those special nights. The last night marking the 20th time I have seen them. They are the best live band in the world.
Saw them in 2021 in my hometown of Margate, we were the warm up gig before their tour, never really got into them when I was younger but got a ticket bought for me and I have to say it was insane! Absolutely loved them and started a new band love for me. You need to check out Dearest (Andy Cizek is the lead singer) definitely check out retrograde it's the definition of epic
I was there and it was amazing night, Cant Belive we saw the Whole Album in the full, I saw the setlist from Last night, and the other songs they played are completely different, To do 50 different songs in two nights is amazing, and they will most likely do the same tonight
That sounds like it was a brilliant night all round, especially with the added bonus of so many songs after the break. It shows how well they love and appreciate their fans doesn't it? I don't know much of Biffy's stuff, but one of my old work colleagues loves them and it wouldn't have surprised me if he'd gone to any of these gigs. Just as a smile-maker, have a look into some of the stories of how they got their band name (my friend told me one that he kind of regarded as gospel but is more likely a part of their naming lore - it's to do with disposable ballpoint pens, as a clue)! When he's well enough to start touring again I can thoroughly recommend seeing Mike Peters, either solo or with his band The Alarm because that's a great night guaranteed. My other half is a huge fan of theirs, which is how I got into them. They have a weekend in Wales called The Gathering, usually in January and all barring this year's I've been to every one since the 13th year. My OH has been since the first one and we've been to several gigs both of Mike's and with The Alarm. It's always a brilliant atmosphere and you will come away having made new friends because they are all so welcoming to new people. Mike is currently going through treatment for High Grade Lymphoma, which progressed from the CLL he's had for the past 29 years. He's currently in remission, thankfully. If you want to have a read, Steve, here's a link to a BBC News article from the end of September - he's never given up though, to say the least: www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c20j7q7vzzjo
I hadn't heard of Biffy Clyro until Only Revolutions (maybe cause I'm in Canada) but what a great album it is. I should listen to more of their stuff. Any recommendations? I typically listen to mostly metalcore but also enjoy post-hardcore, synth, countrycore, progrock, etc.
Metalcore is life... I went 20 years without listening to metal, because I got bored to death with it as a whole. Randomly caught the past few years of metalcore renaissance and it singlehandedly gave me a reason to love metal again...
One of, if not the best live band going

Was at all three nights at the barras and it was amazing.
I was there for the Vertigo night. Best gig of my life!
IL and BS were my favourite albums until these shows. VOB definitely stole the show
Stretching my legs for now and getting ready for doing all 3 in Glasgow. Can't wait.

Best gigs of my life! Only comparison is their special 2014 Barrowland gigs. 78 different songs across 3 nights was insane
Managed to get a ticket to infinity land, I seen Biffy 17 times and was the best I’ve seen them, was an emotional experience.
Sounds wonderful.

Lovely stuff! I saw them live during this era, and the gigs were not like this... they were in pubs! hehe
I saw Biffy support vex red around 2002 at a 200 cap venue in norwich called the waterfront and hungout with the band after.....great bunch of lads!
Oh how cool!
This would have been incredible ! Love blacked sky!

I think 'Only Revolutions' might be my favourite album. 'Puzzle' is also a big fave though. Maybe give that a spin next 💙

first 4 albums are all stellar, drops off a bit and then a lot for me after that.
You would probably enjoy Vertigo of Bliss. Weird, heavy, crazy.
Did barras VOB and IL and oh my god. What a great 2 nights. Gutted I missed BS but it was made up
Which albums have they played?
