I'm a Lakers fan and i'd like to see Derozan in a Lakers uniform. When they had a chance to get him before, I thought he was a much better fit than Westbrook. I'm glad to hear that he's open to play with the Lakers. Let's hope Rob Pelinka can get it done. By the way, if they could get Caruso with him, i'd have no problem seeing that either.

Things we need
1. A true big we’ve been lacking for the past few seasons so AD can slide back at the 4
2. A lockdown perimeter defender like Caruso or jrue, sum like that, (We need vando for wings like bi or Tatum)
3. A 3 and d wing that can play defense and is a good 3 point shooter.
4. SOLID role players that can make a huge impact coming off the bench, basically just depth
They should’ve signed him before even making the deal with Westbrook. It was lined up already until they made that dumb huge trade smh. I was a Westbrook fan until he came to the lakers start missing easy layups misses his go to mid range shots like wtf 🤦🏽♂️🤣🤣

They always pick up players who are at the tail end of their prime, Westbrook is a perfect example, now DeMar is starting to show it but with the right contract he might still have some value, however it's not going to work on defense
There's no guarantee they can sign derozan LMAOO people still don't understand to this day how complicated it is because they have to force the spurs to do sign and trade then if they do, There's gonna be a little room to sign more players because they will be hardcapped and they can't re-sign caruso.The only real mistake the lakers management did is they never re-signs caruso when they are allowed to because they are not hardcapped...that's the brainfart mistake the management did, they never take advantage of it.

Hope they can sign a defensive center, a consistent scorer who should take the burden off Bron who should not be expected to be first scoring option. They should build a roster with depth instead of adding a superstar with no depth

I feel like Derozan would be a perfect fit with LBJ and AD, IF he can perform at a high rate of consistency off the ball, which I don't really think is possible because he's a mostly ball dominant player, and would more than likely play PG/SG unless LeBron is injured. That being said, The Lakers tried that "experiment" a few years ago with Westbrook, but proved to be ineffective because they tried to convert his play style into a more off ball 3&D player role, in order to pair with Lebron better, knowing damn well he needed the rock in his hands to be very effective. Finished his entire Lakers tenure averaging 17.2PPG, 6.8RPG and 7.3APG shooting just over 43% from the field, 1.0SPG and almost 30% from 3pt range. They tried to convert him from the dominant slashing and effective interior scoring style of player that he was, and it backfired immensely. I'm just saying if the Lakers are gonna make a deal to acquire Demar, they need to make sure he either plays the 1 or 2, and have the ball as much as he needs it to be effective. Your getting a very high profile 3 level scoring machine that can become a #1-2 scoring option inna heartbeat, especially being one of the most clutch performing players in the NBA in the last quarter, as well as a very efficient and dangerous mid range threat. If they do acquire him, trade D'Lo, Spencer Dinwiddie and Jaxson Hayes and a couple of the last season rookies, while also getting AD, maybe even Caruso back ANNNDDDDDD Dwight Howard!!!!!!!

I do not see the Lakers current roster winning championships, so their best chance is to go all out trades, picks, and get the best players to bolster their starting lineup and make that super team before Lebron retire/leaves soon! Sign the leftover players to make the bench with 3D/defensive players!

I’m actively advocating for the Lakers to make a move for Anfernee Simons. Making only 25 mil per year, basically a more athletic version of AR and shoots high volume and efficiency on 3.

Those are suppose to be Reddish (if its back and new coach makes him perform like he suppose to do) and Max Christie. 3D aren't cheap.. if they're getting Donovan, Forget about defenders unless they sign some solid defenders for the minimum. They could also use the MLE for a center which could be Drummond but that too much for him imo.

You can thank Pelinka and Jeanie Buss for that. They really could’ve had DeMar and Buddy Hield as well while keeping KCP and Caruso. Pelinka screwed up the deal because they didn’t want to give him an extra year on his contract and not pay him.

Lebron def took a back seat this year or was on the decline. He spent the previous year burning out the team and himself for the scoring record. But Demar is a professional and will def fit with the Lakers current roster. They need players who can get their own shot and have decent size at their position. He's current trending lower on TOs per game and that is something the Lakers desperately need is a guard veteran who values every possession.
LBJ has the ball more than anyone on the team. So, just by percentage he would turn the ball over more. Luka & Jokic are top 10 in TO as well. Where did LBJ decline? He shot a better 3pt % than Steph. He played 71 games still averaging 25 ppg off 54% fg, 9 assists. Where’s the decline? We can use the Demar most certainly. You don’t have to be delusional to admit that
@@rayd4974 the entire team had a turnover issue. Not just LeBron. Just bring up stats is not the entire story for someone declining. LeBron didn’t play a lot this year and even when he did he took many plays off but mainly took advantage of scoring opportunities like the only statistics you mentioned as a reason for not him declining. I’m a Laker fan and have watched every Laker game since 1979

The cheap front office would not be offering him whatever he wants. His stats shows, like every other playing in the league he's a top 10 player
@@rayd4974 he took off a lot of back to back games and look how the overall season record played out. Some of it has to do with other injuries as well as coaching but all this to say LeBron is declining and it just shows overall from team accomplishments throughout the season.

Lakers better make a trade knowing that AD is still an injury prone player. This is the one time AD has played a full season healthy and it has all gone to waste.
