What do you guys think? Should the Lakers bank on potential by drafting a guy like Yves Missi despite being a bit more raw offensively? Comment down below! Join our NBA Discord! - discord.gg/YMykkbnd48 | Follow me on Twitter! - twitter.com/JSMonYT
When picking on the 17th pick, I'd rather have a player that has at least above average basketball IQ with versatility. That's why I'd rather have Daron Holmes as our 1st option for the 17th pick if the lakers keep the pick. Kalel Ware is my 2nd option.
I’d say go best player available or Yves he can do everything Holmes can but prolly has a better iso game, just lacks the iq Holmes has playing years in college
Hope lakers, draft him. He Could get better. His a late Bloomer. I like, how he drives To the basquet, and how he Is Quick, to Block shots. I Hope his there at 17.
7‘ center why can’t you understand that 7 foot seven not 16 not 611 we have one 7 foot center 7 foot one or anything bigger dominant center come on man no six 1116 center no call Lakers
I'd rather have Jaxson Hayes than a rookie Yves Missi and Kel'el Ware so I'd put my money on them trading the pick. But if I'm taking someone in the draft I'd choose between Nikola Topic from Serbia or Pacome Dadiet from France
Commentators never played basketball before lol. He called davis a below average shooter. Anthony davis ran off like 7 staright buckets against the nuggets by himself😂😂. That organization did lebron and AD wrong but they called Austin Reaves an offensive threat in another video i watched lol. Unbelievable. Reaves didnt look threatening at all this past season.
Oh really? Not when he had a 29-point triple-double and 2OT W against the Bucks? Or when he scored 32 pts on 55% FG and got the W against the fully-healthy Celtics (who are literally up 2-0 in the Finals rn)? Or when scored 19 pts & 14 assists against the fully-healthy Nuggets? Just say you don't pay attention to Reaves, makes it a whole lot easier.
@@TheHuskyK9 Lol the lakers manpower wise are better then the bucks. You're an Austin Reaves fan boy. You know watching Austin Reaves his body looks like he doesn't take weight training and conditioning seriously. What did he do during the denver series was he a threat then. That's when the number mattered the most lol. And I don't blame Austin Reaves or DLO. Even with Austins poor conditioning its Rob Pelinka and that organization's fault for not retaining javale and Howard. The type of game DLO and Reaves has good big men makes them better because they get more relaxed shooting the ball making them more proficient. But its just me🤷
@JSM24 He definitely does, but I wonder with the Lakers seemingly pivoting to player development, do they still go for players like Holmes whose ceiling is the already developed player or do they start taking the players like Missi?
Fact: The truth is, the Lakers can get 2 good players from their draft picks but the problem is, the Team is forced to get Bronny James. Question... do you think Bronny James will be picked if he's not known to Lebron James? Lebron is no longer focus on team's need but his personal gain, making first ever NBA history i.e. "Father and Son" playing in one team.
I have been hearing and seeing people talking about trading the pick...for who? Half the players that are rumored are either too much as far as assets or other teams have more assets to give and will be looked at first. Keep the pick and start growing these young players so we don't have to go through HOPING that we'll get vet minimums that may or may not pan out.

I hope the Lakers get kel'el Ware he is a better fit for them and quick
To be honest I don’t think he’ll be there when it’s the lakers turn to pick

Agreed. With Isaiah Collier, Ron Holland & Zach Edey right behind those 2 for me

@@KIrvin_The_Scholar i wouldn't trust zach Edey he can't switch on defense plus he's a heavy foot and I have seen him played and no quickness
If the lakers are fumbling on this coaching search at least they can do is get this draft right
AD Edey big body
DaRon seems legit
Baby Giannis poggers!
Damon Jones 2.0?
Need Lakers 7footer and big body like Zach edey or kel Elle ware

Yea because being 7 foot compared to 6’11 makes the difference between being a good and bad player lmao
Zach is our guy
Lakers need Edney like they need a hole in their head. To slow, and too thin.
@@PunaBeachboytoo thin? lmao he's almost 300 pounds

He’s way too much of a project for a Lebron James team. Would rather keep Jaxson Hayes.
I mean, Missi can do everything that Hayes does right now + can attack off the dribble. Hayes himself is a bit of a project.
Haven’t seen video yet but my top two choices are Holmes and Holland(if he is somehow available he’s a no brainer pick)
Collin castleton is the same build ill pass

With the 17th pick of the 2024 NBA DRAFT, the Los Angeles Lakers select: Bronny James from USC
Great video. Would rather have Daron Holmes. I think he fits better and is more inclined to be ready.
I’d lean Holmes as well. Though, Missi does have a higher ceiling.
@JSM24 He definitely does, but I wonder with the Lakers seemingly pivoting to player development, do they still go for players like Holmes whose ceiling is the already developed player or do they start taking the players like Missi?
Lakers off season better than finals 😅

#17 Zach Edey, enough said.
He is to slow can't shoot 3s and will get eaten alive against 5 out offenses and pnr
@@beezysmith4197 If the Lakers don't get him, they will be sorry, mark my words here.
Nic Claxton/Clint Capela type of player
Defensively, yes. Though, he does have skills offensively that neither of Clax/Capela have been able to develop.

He plays like someone that won't be in the league in 6 years
Are any of guys better than Jaxson Hayes?
😢😢
🤷♂️
Kel le ware best option

Probably not… 😢😢😢
We’re screwed
If was a fifth
Ware
He's not 611. he's 6'9
Wrong. He measured 6’10.75 without shoes at the combine. He’s 7 foot with shoes
@@JSM24 you’re right. Im thinking about Bona. My bad.
Too small
Nah bruh....HARD PASS! he looks like a slow mo bamba!
Yes he is black and African. but slower than Bamba? Missi runs like a gazelle
Kel ware for Lakers real talk
Must draft a player like this to stay relevant in the west
“I mean…”
Stoppppppppppppppp.
