The first three and only studio Mr bungle albums with the original lineup are all freaking amazing. All of them are probably among the 10 best albums I've ever heard. I listen to Disco volante so much in high school and college. I mean obviously there's a lot of Avant guard stuff but stuff like Carrie's stress in the jaw and desert search for techno allah had some really cool grooves in there as well that had some sneaky appeal to people that are not normally into that type of music. I had the CD version of disco volante so the secret song was not hidden and I always just thought it was the last 4 minutes of Carry stress in a jaw
"Mr. Bungle fans are insane" .... my thought was "wait, do not all Bungle fans have the tapes through trades or since they long since broke found them online if they were too young to have traded tapes back then?" lmao
Admittedly not the best choice of words but we aren't claiming to be big time either. He did a fantastic interview and asked great questions and I linked to the full interview in the description. No disrespect was intented.
I hope I'm wrong but, I don't think Mike is capable of the vocals nowadays for old Mr Bungle from self titled album, Disco Volante, California etc, can he still pull that stuff off? Most of the vocals for Easter Bunny aren't melodic.. When FNM reformed and were touring he mostly spat, grunted and shouted his vocals live..
Saw geek show Oakland last year. Knew of MP but always thought he was weird. Went for the Melvins, was late.. Mr Bungle blew me away.. They ALSO did my ass is on fire and now I’m mesmerized with them. ❤️ Don’t make statements unless you saw it for yourself sort of situation. He sounds really good. STILL. ❤️

He’s totally capable.
I would second that... he is 1000% capable
When I saw him with FNM in 2015, he sounded phenomenal. I'm sure he's still got it.
