This movie is technically superior to many of the current generation and previous generation films. It is as real as it gets. Tremendous performances by Ramesh, Sudha Rani and the rest of the cast. Spotless direction of PH Vishwanath. And the best part is, they have used actors' real voices. Current crop of heroines can't/won't dub for their movies if their life depended on it. It's a gem of a movie!

I came here bcoz of Weekend wid Ramesh Sudharani episode. This is such a beautiful movie. People who truly love can live together even if they r no more. I wish true love exists everywhere. And i would like to thank WWR. I m getting to know many good kannada movies wic i hadnt seen.
There are a few pairs that stand out For me Srinath-Manjula, Ananth Nag-Lakshmi, Ramesh-Sudharani 😍 these are the best of Indian Cinema.. but I am also a big fan of Saritha-Rajkumar, Bettada Hoovu, ambareesh cinemagalu.. but these movies are so underrated but class apart. Yelli Shiva ee thara Halli, Ee thara Jana, Ee sambhashana shyli.. aaa sundara thotti manegalu. PH vishwanath avrige 🙏
I watched it 3 years ago ........still the Climax scene haunts me.The songs are very beautiful. Sudharani and Ramesh acted very naturally....this is one of my favourite movies.

Fantastic movie. Outstanding direction. Brilliant performances by Ramesh Aravind, Sudharani and Ramakrishna. Loosely inspired by the classic Hindi film, Basu Chatterjee's " Chitchor ".
In such a good movie, having such a gr8 climax was key..and it became great.. Learning: Villagers r known to involve in others' affairs, city folks r known 2 not involve in their own affairs..both lead to a laugh on life !!
Why kannada industry is not making movie like this anymore wat wonderful love stories. everyone are seeing trying bigger picture pan India movie. but I bet that if this movie was made know with same cinematic look sounds nature exactly like this.this would be more thn pan India movie .

Why kannada industry is not making movie like this anymore wat wonderful love stories. everyone are seeing trying bigger picture pan India movie. but I bet that if this movie was made know with same cinematic look sounds nature exactly like this.this would be more thn pan India movie .
