I REALLY don't want him to become at all better as a dps, he already does pretty much everything a support can and should do. Giving him additional capabilities seems like too much. The devs responded that the main focus of the hero is support, and also implied that they will be changing just the description not the hero. In your test, with less than 50% cr and low crit damage, as well as no right side set at all he still did a pretty acceptable amount of damage even without being built as a dps whatsoever, seems fine to me. I'd rather not have an insane powercreep again.
I think he's an excellent support but still leaves a way for Delores to shine as the f2p queen she is with him having the ability to outshine her via more investment which feels very fair . I personally think he's perfect with the attack he has, in lieu of the support he provides, especially that magic reduction which will hopefully make him shine with magic heroes and maybe make him provide more damage to his allies at A0 when compared to delores when his allies are magic (He's cultist so this is very logical).
agreed, hes already probably the best hero in game, they just need to take away the "deals damage" and he is pure support, a dolores + mari in itself is insane, frees up a hero slot, and he will buff summoners as well when they add more to game however if they want him to be even more OP and do damage, all they have to do is scale attack up inversely proportional to a reduced inspiration however if they dont buff his damage, they should buff his magic vuln at base to 15%

They named the team because of the warrior but say the name in their language. Everyone says the name as it reads in their language. Fastidious is the only one who doesn't. It's his thing.
Personally I think he might be a potential issue in GvG with his kit as is, considering his significant ATK boost (especially at A3 or higher), decent CC and incredible range all in one kit. If he were to also do significant damage (or any DPS really) or give greater Inspiration (due to higher base attack), he might end up becoming an Ingrid level problem for GvG.
Beel ze bub, literally the lord of flies. They dont want him dealing damage, he does 'some' but its nothing big. I kinda support that just for balance reasons. He is already an amazing support, lets not have the 'best support' also be a 'great dps'. Cultists are about to get a big boost, the fix should be removing any mention of his damage in the description.
Sorry, but this hero in its test server form doesn't get me to want to go for it. When I see LEFENDARY I expect major upgrades to their epic counterparts. The majority of players in-game are not gonna be able to get this hero to A3 for a very long time and it's only at that point that this hero surpasses what dolores brings. Sure he can use tear of twilight but for me that means a ton more resources or taking your current tear of twilight off another mage which lessens the other mages ability to do damage. Unless they greatly increase his attack he will just be another Legendary that HAD great potential and was exciting to go for to just being another hero that isn't worth investing money for because I already have dolores. Still waiting for my last exciting hero Lucius to be fixed. Until A3 this hero is meh for majority of players who already have dolores. Thnx for the video and keep up the great work.
His main role is support like laurel and the from their wording, I think the devs are going to change the description of the hero instead. Giving him more atk and lowering his inspiration bonus will just make him more stronger than he is now, I think he's a must have in every team especially for GB since his placement benefits more than dolores and he works well with m.dps because of his debuffs. Overall, he's a unique hero who can deal decent damage, giving inspiration, and casting debuffs and i prefer him like this.
I feel like there's also something to consider like sure he has ToT but Dolores is an infernal.. even at A2, he's only going to beat Dolores in non infernal teams.. and using Dolores outside of infernal team always felt wrong, like it was still super broken but there was always this nagging feeling "what Am I even doing here? why Am I not just bringing an infernal squad with TF?" you won't really get this with cultists cuz they suck.. He's deffinitely better in GB2 cuz of the range and in GB1 in nightmare and piercer teams.. Well then again if we're getting Nissandei to cleanse, we won't need Midan anymore and Dolores was mostly competing against Midan cuz they both need as many units in their range as possible.. Nissandei having a similar range to Baal freeing the center for Dolores along with infernals being better than cultists there, probably makes Dolores still better in GB2.. I feel like that as it stands, he's only going to be GB1 meta at A2 and he might get a niche in GvG defense and BP.. But I wouldn't call him S+.. I don't think he's on the level of Constance, Ferssi or Dolores
but they don't suck. with him and others entering, clearing they are on a come up. tbh in current meta, if you don't have solcadens, infernal is non existent. Morrigan Dahlia is way more meta for GvG. Him + Anora has the makings of something major moving forward

Seems clear to me.. the way it reads.. they're going to remove the "massive magic damage" line. And like you said.. still gonna be a helluva hero. If they do rebalance him to be a better dmg dealer but keep the inspo around the same.. just a bonus.
I like the Test Server version more than the leaked. He's doing so much, inspiring, rage regening, damage reduction, magic res debuff, plus a little bit of damage, and a huge range; he didn't need to be the best Inspiration hero full stop. And we haven't even discussed how he'll synergize with other summon heroes. Thx for the doing the math and test cases.
I really don't like what they did to the HP too.. I wanted to use him as my main tank in my groundless defense.. Glacius is almost unkillable but he just doesn't have what it takes on the slow and marri is too easy to kill.. this guy was perfect for the role and the fact that he has a displacement skill on top now is so good.. he just needs like +500 base HP

Also, respectfully, video is unnecessarily long, no need to compare the leaked info with what's on Test, current state is what matters... for those watching I recommend skipping the 20-minute-long comparison. You covered his performance fairly well but it would have been nice to see the actual rage regen difference over the course of the guild boss fight for example, I know it's hard to account for Dolores's A5 but it reliably will proc at least once during a boss fight so how much of a difference will it make and note Beelzebub has a higher initial rage but at least the ultimate cost and duration are the same as Dolores.

Also, Fasti will almost certainly do a full in-depth review with testing when the hero is released to global - are you suggesting that updating people's understanding of the hero as it changes is without value? It is very useful to understand what has changed to assess viability changes in different content! Considering it is a hero in testing, I think it is a sufficient level of testing since there are likely to be further changes. There is certainly less value in doing as thorough a suite of tests at this stage. However, this level of testing serves as an indication of the hero's viability for different areas of the game. Regardless, this is the nature and inde ed the beauty of having a community of content creators for WoR (or anything really). We can get different tests, viewpoints and suggestions on various game content. We, as viewers, can come to our own conclusions between different contents creator's opinions and our own testing.

Doesn't have to be the bible lol. But he is entirely based off of of it from the look,the powers and the flies and the name so I would think his name would be pronounced like it is in the bible. That's my argument for pronouncing the name correctly lol.
So if he isn't meant to be dps they need to change his A5 then to be more focused on support. When you get A5 on a legendary you should feel excited, there should be something that makes them a full notch better than they were before. Doesn't have to break them, just should feel good.
I was ready to drop serious money to get him and awaken him but that drop in att and inspiration lost most all interest in him. I know he has more of a kit than dolores but that was the main reason I wanted him slightly better inspiration and a new pattern for new layouts, but now it's just back to dolores for inspiration and if I want cc there are others. Another note dolo gets her faction bonus more often then I would have a cultist lord. In all the change is disappointing I really wanted him pre test server version now I won't go for him other than see if I can grab a base copy.
They really need to adjust drop rates with them adding all these new heroes. Hitting pity every other weekend and pulling copies of crap or new crap is getting extremely old.
Just have the plague flies take on 200% stats ... No inspiration adjustment needed and still a boost in DPS ;) Although, he is not really a Legendary Delores unless he clearly out performs Delores in Inspiration :/
he is equal to dolores and clearly outperforms her at a2. and he does all this while still having a full additional kit she completely lacks. he is a very clear upgrade in most content
Defo saving all summons for him. It's nuts that he can pass Dolores with better rage regen due to the fact that he is affected by ATK speed. Would it be more beneficial to build atk speed rather than rage regen on him since his basic gives so much rage? Can you post a guide on the most optimal build for this guy so i can start farming for gear? Anyways great vid but i think his dmg is decent. Are you gonna test his effect on other summoners?
Love your work and all you do for the community, but 55 minutes is just too long for a hero review. I don't have a full hour to commit to a review. 20-30 minutes would be ideal.
Can see you work hard for these video's. However I agree with some others that a hero like this doesn't need the best damage. If you compare the cc En damage boost it does for other hero's and add that damage boost to his own damage. That's his real damage output
I would much rather he just be a pure support mage. I like Dolores, but it sucks she’s the best inspiration hero we have and is an epic. Need a legendary version that beats her out. We have enough dps mages already. No need for another one.
He looks like a great champ, but I'm concerned about the degree to which he's a glass cannon, especially if you want to use him in GB2. I also wonder if you could fix his damage issue by simply increasing his multipliers? That way it wouldn't affect his inspiration mechanic as much. Or maybe you permit his flies to recieve the inspiration buff?
@@fastidious_gg Especially if you expect him to do damage, he's gong to be very stat hungry. You're correct about the Dolores/Nazeem comps, but you can build those 2 with only 3 required stats. A damage Beezly will require some of every stat (including a roll or two of flat defence, as it's criminally low.) I'd also argue that Legendaries in general throughout the game have higher base stats than their epic counterparts. My bet (and it is a bet) is that the player base will end up being dissapointed in this guy and that he won't be that much of an upgrade compared to the easier to obtain and build Dolores.
I’m interested to get my hands on him. I watched wor guides videos earlier and gr1-21 was having some issues keeping him alive with just hollow. I didn’t deep dive into the gear he used. But at the same time he’s not a healer and does have a tone of utility along with some small dps. I’m sure it’s gonna be an adjustment period figuring the balance with attack for inspiration and def/hp for survivability with him in different content. It’s gonna be fun to have another option to play with and not just how can I put Dolores in the middle of my main dps.
I honestly think this hero needs dual faction with esotherisist do he can be the defacto summoner support unit for both factions and actually have a chance to get a lord bonus when doing non-aoe content. In regards to his non-existant attack issue they should either make the flies just deal true damage or just bump his attack and lower the inspiration %.

We need this kind of legendary hero. IMO he should deal descent damage and should be slightly better than Dolores to make him worth the legendary investment and title. Great to see him coming to the game. Hope they do tweak and improve him before he comes to the game
Another important thing, speaking about guild bosses, you can always run a dolores in a infernal team and having this lord bonus stats makes her better than belzebuu cause he is not having a lord normally

Got a question about sth else here- do you know when lust is coming back to the game? I think the only drawback will be maxing put his kit as lego crystals to lvl up the skills are not easy to come by. Is it a very big difference using him partially skilled up vs maxed up?

Beelzebub looks like a cool hero but I honestly see no reason to try and get him since Dolores is still good enough. Though I will accept him as a random lucky summon on a different banner. But I won't hunt for a hero thats barely an upgrade from an Epic hero

There is no content Im currently stuck on where I go "Damn if only I had a displacement skill" as for the vulnurability part I think we both know there is plethera of good heroes with M. Dmg vulnurability built in their kit that are also high in dmg output. And I didnt say he was bad. Until new content is out that screams out Beelzebub needed here I see no reason to waste summons on Dolores with M. Vulnurability and a displacement skill. With really high gear and artifact requirements thag, let's be real, most people do not have access to multiple 30% atk boost artifacts for a team of 10 heroes

He's a perfectly balanced hero IMO. Very good inspiration further boosted by placing vulnerability on targets.
don't sleep on the slows. he is the best "slower" in the game now. constant uptime on so many targets

hard disagree. i think a lot of people want to know what has changed. i also added numerous chapters so you can skip whatever you want.
I actually actively did note that beezlebub has higher initial rage...clear as day in the inspiration comparison to dolores.

In order to boost damage, wouldn't increasing attribute percentage flies get increase damage without effecting the inspiration boost
Other near instant spike damage kill for CC, at least this unit will be more CC for pvp & GD

I would much rather he just be a pure support mage. I like Dolores, but it sucks she’s the best inspiration hero we have and is an epic. Need a legendary version that beats her out. We have enough dps mages already. No need for another one.

He looks like a great champ, but I'm concerned about the degree to which he's a glass cannon, especially if you want to use him in GB2. I also wonder if you could fix his damage issue by simply increasing his multipliers? That way it wouldn't affect his inspiration mechanic as much. Or maybe you permit his flies to recieve the inspiration buff?
how would he be more fragile than dolores or nazeem or something? typical for a support
@@fastidious_gg Especially if you expect him to do damage, he's gong to be very stat hungry. You're correct about the Dolores/Nazeem comps, but you can build those 2 with only 3 required stats. A damage Beezly will require some of every stat (including a roll or two of flat defence, as it's criminally low.) I'd also argue that Legendaries in general throughout the game have higher base stats than their epic counterparts. My bet (and it is a bet) is that the player base will end up being dissapointed in this guy and that he won't be that much of an upgrade compared to the easier to obtain and build Dolores.

I’m interested to get my hands on him. I watched wor guides videos earlier and gr1-21 was having some issues keeping him alive with just hollow. I didn’t deep dive into the gear he used. But at the same time he’s not a healer and does have a tone of utility along with some small dps. I’m sure it’s gonna be an adjustment period figuring the balance with attack for inspiration and def/hp for survivability with him in different content. It’s gonna be fun to have another option to play with and not just how can I put Dolores in the middle of my main dps.
I honestly think this hero needs dual faction with esotherisist do he can be the defacto summoner support unit for both factions and actually have a chance to get a lord bonus when doing non-aoe content. In regards to his non-existant attack issue they should either make the flies just deal true damage or just bump his attack and lower the inspiration %.

We need this kind of legendary hero. IMO he should deal descent damage and should be slightly better than Dolores to make him worth the legendary investment and title. Great to see him coming to the game. Hope they do tweak and improve him before he comes to the game
Another important thing, speaking about guild bosses, you can always run a dolores in a infernal team and having this lord bonus stats makes her better than belzebuu cause he is not having a lord normally

I think the only drawback will be maxing put his kit as lego crystals to lvl up the skills are not easy to come by. Is it a very big difference using him partially skilled up vs maxed up?

Beelzebub looks like a cool hero but I honestly see no reason to try and get him since Dolores is still good enough.
Though I will accept him as a random lucky summon on a different banner. But I won't hunt for a hero thats barely an upgrade from an Epic hero

@@fastidious_gg If by extra kit you mean miniscules amount of damage I did not forget that. Or the slow factor, thats the barely an upgrade part. And you mentioned so yourself, you had him in a godly gear, he is really expensive to make better than dolores, that is a big negative in my opinion.

There is no content Im currently stuck on where I go "Damn if only I had a displacement skill" as for the vulnurability part I think we both know there is plethera of good heroes with M. Dmg vulnurability built in their kit that are also high in dmg output. And I didnt say he was bad. Until new content is out that screams out Beelzebub needed here I see no reason to waste summons on Dolores with M. Vulnurability and a displacement skill. With really high gear and artifact requirements thag, let's be real, most people do not have access to multiple 30% atk boost artifacts for a team of 10 heroes
