I didn't know that there was a Michael Golden Micronauts!!! Time for a reprint. This was the first Artist Edition I bought, but I just got the Frank Miller book and have the John Byrne X-Men on order.
Mind blowing stuff. Michael Golden was at another level. BTW can't wait for a Marc Silvestri Wolverine and X-men Artist Edition. They totally need to do it!
Art Adams had that style in the mid 80s btw (I’m prob nit picking / don’t need to defend him) but I’ve been a huge fan of Art Adams since seeing his pencils back then.
@@NearMintCondition This is true too… I guess I didn’t know as much as I thought I did; I see that it is well documented that Art Adams credited Michael Golden with being one of his influences (along with Walt Simonson). Hell, they are all so amazing. The truth is: these three REALLY made an impression on an entire generation of comic book artists and fans alike!!!
Big fan of Avengers Annual #10 so I was hooked by his pencils!!! AWESOME!!! Thanks for the video of this great masterpiece!

100% need the ‘Nam Omni. Golden did most of the first 15+ issues, similar to Micronauts.
Probably my most wanted OHC collection.

We desperately need a Micronauts reprint, or at least an Artisan edition of it
We’re getting a Micronauts omnibus next year. I guess that will have to do for now. :/
I gotta get this next paycheck!! I want a artist edition so bad for my collection!! This artist has convinced me to get back to collecting 😅🥳
Wow, I didn't expect an AE overview on NMC. Did you pick up the Don Rosa AE, or is this your first?
I do. I love that Don Rosa book. I’ve done a couple on the channel.
@@NearMintCondition Oh wow, so you have. I completely missed the DD and Nowlan overviews.

Correct and Arthur Adams is one of my favorite artist of all time. Golden was doing this type of art in the early 80s.
