  • Hi Friend, if you are wondering about Paragua Coastown you are in luck! We physically flew there to discover what is actually going on in San Vicente Palawan where Megaworld's latest masterplanned beachside township is located.
    Here's the basics:
    1. It is very early in development and there is not much to see in the area as of the moment. We liked how calm the water was compared to other beaches in San Vicente like Long Beach and Alimanguan.
    2. The sand is not as white as Boracay but its still white and is pretty soft.
    3. This is located in Kemdeng, San Vicente which is a 10-20 minutes away from Long Beach, the San Vicente Airport etc. (No direct flights available at the moment except for Sunlight Air.)
    4. San Vicente follows TIEZA regulations which prevent permanent structures on the beachfront. They have a lot of build restrictions to protect the beauty of the natural environment. More on this in a future video.
    5. Paragua Coastown has only launched the shophouse district and boutique hotel district which allows buyers to operate small businesses in the area.
    6. Paragua Coastown is planning to build a mangrove reserve, commerce district and health center among others.

Any development anywhere, no matter how beautiful, "sustainable" destroys the environment. I was in San Vicente b4 the pandemic. Walked the stretch also looking at properties for sale. I'm sure Megaworld purchased the area we walked through. Please, please. Begin eco friendly practices even before mega construction begins. 😢

I hope that the beach front won't be barricaded by luxury resorts with only the rich club members enjoying the beach, it should be accessible to every Filipinos..

Terrible project. Should be minimal foot print meaning high rise NOT low development. Leave that to the city. Put 2 towers, amenities building and that's it. You don't need 400 hectares. 1 hectare only for residences and 1 hectare for commercial. Leave the other 398 hectares untouched.

Now you are making me guilty, I was thinking to get a unit of their Oceanfront Residences😩🙈🤷‍♂️

@@stefren You're good -- part of the high-rise 2 hectares. It's the 398 other hectares that killed tons of animals, plants and trees. It sucks coz we now live in a world of enlightenment where nature and agri-areas ought to be preserved via high-rise projects and yet these builders still do not care. This is the reason why we import rice now.

@bigradwolf5001 , just thinking of what you’ve said made me cringe, I rather support small time businesses along these tourist beach areas who are still mindful to preserve and maintain its original beauty. Thanks for the enlightenment, means a lot👍🤔🥰
