    I feel you. It's hard working on music while working full time, so I can only imagine making videos. Thanks for the upload, highly appreciated!!

      No problem man. I still love making them when I can find the time

    Seen plenty of sp404 vids, but your content was what got me over the hump of hesitation to get one. As a fellow full-time-jober,i can appreciate the struggle of keeping the content going while working.

      @@spvidz got over the hurdles of "slicing" and "marking". now need to turn on the damn metronome and do some sequencing. i'll hopefully post a vid or 2 soon enough

      Sounds good! I don’t really use the sequencer to be honest but you can definitely make quality beats with it

    ‘a hot minute’ is easily the best saying ever 10/10 premium content as per usual

    Good tips as usual man! Btw I think it's worth mentioning that if you turn all the balance all the way right, then you end up with just the bass, which you can always resample, mess with some more and use it as a separate layer

      Nice one yeah it would be useful to have it on a pad if you’re using the sequencer or making beats with resample. Thanks

    couldn't you play the note.. resample, change the pitch and then play the new note on top of the old loop?

    • @spvidz
      @spvidz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      depends on the workflow but yeah I don't see any reason why you couldn't do that!

      Same with me man. Made me realise you can kinda play it like an instrument. Glad it helped!

  • @mrdd47
    @mrdd47 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    hahaha u so creative w this technique. 🙏 and also, if you want to record your bassline, can you record it as a separate pad? or do you have to do it all as a bounce? 🤔

    • @spvidz
      @spvidz  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its probably best to resample each note you want then you can play it like an instrument but on the pads, and you can get the timing correct then too!

    I’m in the midst of deciding on whether I should buy an SP404 or not but watching these videos I’m most likely going to. Great videos and very informative! Also, I hope you don’t mind me asking but where in the UK are you from? You sound as if you’re quite local to me judging by the accent haha
