Ross, your nose continues to impress me because in order to get that sparkling wine note, we had to use facets of champagne in the accord. Chris Maurice actually had created that wine accord 15 years ago so when he created Barcelona with my briefs, it was the perfect pairing. Everything you said is spot on and I completely agree. It is a Fragrance, and can be worn in many seasons.. thank you for an honest review.
Wonder if the "bitter" is more acidic, with those specific spirits and fruits. Sounds like something to wear when you're going to see Prestige Worldwide at the Catalina Wine Mixer. Lol
My favorite fragrance from the house and top 3 in my entire collection is Miami Tropical Confessions but I am not a fan of this one something is off to me but I love the house. I’ll give it a 4 out of 10.
I ordered a sample on launch day. Dont get chocolate just a lot of wine and champagne and some dirty rose. Leans more feminine to me. Definitely sample before you buy.
Ok, just by your review and description of the notes, this sounds like a more quality and better blended version of what Lattafa Al Noble Wazeer was trying to be... all the way from the champagne note to the chocolate. Wazeer was atrocious... but I have the utmost faith in City Rhythms! It sounds interesting... definitely want to put my nose on this!
@TLTGReviews Trust me, you don't want to! The notes are intriguing, but the execution was lacking. There were like 30 notes listed and none of them were identifiable aside from the champagne and chocolate. Barcelona sounds like everything I hoped Wazeer would be... done EXPONENTIALLY BETTER!
