You're not alone. Studies say Your babies dna lives decades inside your body after a miscarriage, that says you're a mother. I needed this. I just had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. Praying for you. The pain is unimaginable

Hey, have you checked your iodine levels? The proper way to test it is with a urine test. Low iodine can significantly increase the risk of having a miscarriage.
Several other vitamin and nutrient deficiencies can also increase the risk of miscarriage. Here are some of the most significant ones:
    1. Vitamin D Deficiency
Impact: Low levels of vitamin D have been linked to an increased risk of pregnancy complications, including miscarriage, preterm birth, and preeclampsia.
Why: Vitamin D plays a role in immune regulation, implantation of the embryo, and maintenance of a healthy placenta.
    2. Folate (Vitamin B9) Deficiency
Impact: Folate deficiency is associated with neural tube defects in the fetus and an increased risk of miscarriage, particularly in the early stages of pregnancy.
Why: Folate is crucial for DNA synthesis and cell division during fetal development.
    3. Vitamin B12 Deficiency
Impact: Low levels of vitamin B12 can contribute to miscarriage, preeclampsia, and complications during pregnancy.
Why: Vitamin B12 works with folate in DNA synthesis and red blood cell production. A deficiency can lead to anemia and poor fetal development.
    4. Vitamin E Deficiency
Impact: Some studies suggest a link between vitamin E deficiency and miscarriage, though evidence is less consistent compared to other vitamins.
Why: Vitamin E helps protect cell membranes and supports a healthy uterine environment.
    5. Iron Deficiency (Anemia)
Impact: Severe iron deficiency anemia has been linked to a higher risk of miscarriage, preterm labor, and fetal growth restriction.
Why: Iron is critical for oxygen transport to the placenta and fetus.
    6. Zinc Deficiency
Impact: Low zinc levels can increase the risk of miscarriage and complications during pregnancy.
Why: Zinc is essential for cell division, hormone production, and immune function, all of which are important for a healthy pregnancy.
    7. Vitamin A Deficiency
Impact: While rare in developed countries, vitamin A deficiency can lead to miscarriage and fetal developmental issues.
Why: Vitamin A supports fetal growth and the development of organs and tissues.
    8. Omega-3 Fatty Acids
Impact: Deficiency in omega-3 fatty acids, particularly DHA and EPA, has been associated with miscarriage and preterm labor.
Why: Omega-3s are important for reducing inflammation and supporting fetal brain development.
I would advise you to get all these vitamin & mineral levels checked out in case you have one or more deficiencies.
