Heat 5 was the best episode so far of this series, and this was probably my favourite task in it, with the music one a close second. I'm looking forward to see how these last 3 episodes go, and really hope we sec a series 2!
They sadly cut out the bit where... I forget who it was, had to get down on the ground to pick up the ribbon, staring wide eyed up at Mike who was looking quite menacingly down at her from over the table.
Maybe but not necessarily. Many autistic people might not like eye contact, but they might also be better at strictly applying it without a break when tasked to do so, and perhaps even just do so whilst ignoring questions. In contrast, most people are so socially programmed to not maintain eye contact too long, and also to engage in any chitchat, that this would becomes unbearable.
I replayed the beginning several times and I still have no idea what Mike said that offended people. Little gits? If that's the case, then I don't get the joke. He left off the f and that's offensive? I missed something here
It's a British show. It's British slang. You have access to a massive network of computers loaded with easily accessible information (you may have heard of it: The Internet). Figure it out.
@@travis303 Then you should edit your original comment so that the lie you just told doesn't appear as the lie it is. You didn't say you didn't hear him; you clearly did as you went out of your way to explain that you did. You said you didn't get the joke. Lemme guess, you voted for Trump, right? Right.
@@travis303 Yes, he called them gits instead of gifts. It's not really that's it's offensive or a joke in the traditional sense, just something you don't usually say out loud to kids. Ignore the tw*t that is DocFunkenstein. The question mark with "Little gits?" is enough to show you weren't certain of what was said, which was backed up by "If that's the case...."
If only Reuben had brought his remote control into that task, he could've paused Mike and stopped him from unwrapping his present.

I'm gutted we won't see Reuben again after this episode, he's hilarious.
August was the clear winner here - thinking … inside the box.
He made that joke himself but if you like stealing from children you do you. ;-)
Taskmaster for kids, a simply brilliant idea.
Reuben is hilarious!😂
I think this was my favourite task across any series. So good!

They missed out on Charlotte Ritchie
Now I wonder about the red herring. What was the red herring? The muc too large box?
Uhhhhh why didn't the smartest one here get 5 points???
He hacked the task successfully!
Least autism friendly task lol

Anyone know why the full episode isn’t on TH-cam?
It comes tomorrow as Saturday was Taskmaster's slot
Should be out in the next 11 hours for all you delightful non UK folks.
Thanks!
Flex I knew one of the children

yes - he called them gits (worthless)
