We visited Resorts World last week when we stayed at the Venetian. We were thoroughly impressed. The property was beautiful and the casino is huge.

@@channpal well said. I think this was every guest's experience who stayed there recently and it didnt matter if you were conrad or hilton. I don't know if they actually treated crockford better since it was supposed to be highest quality. Conrad was "5 stars" but more like 3 stars. I couldnt even order room service, just Grubhub...

He paid 1K for Conrad. His friend which is shown on the vid paid $200 something for the Hilton side. That's the difference, not that he hated the room.
I’ve been there one time and had a great time. Most of the other casinos need an upgrade they look old. This place is beautiful.

I stayed at the Conrad in Singapore many years ago. The only reason for the stay was that I was traveling with my boss who had a zillion Hilton points and wanted to stay at a Conrad. It's just a hotel. Nice, but not nicer than a lot other hotels I have stayed in. The thing that stood out to me, is that the in-room coffee was $8 unless you opted for the instant coffee packets that were free. The decor tends to be pretty conservative. A non-hip grandma would like the place.

One of the last resorts in the strip to have that "OG" Vegas vibe and smell
Looking up pictures of the Starsdust, way before my time (I visited Vegas for the first time in 2018) but man am I sad that I never was able to visit! (Actually did visit Vegas in the womb prior to birth in 1995, so I would assume the parents hit the Stardust but can’t be sure, will have to ask)
Stardust was the one hotel I always dreamed of staying at; so sad to have never had the opportunity :(

I work in remodeling and new construction in Las Vegas hotels,
( didn't work at the resort world job though). trust me contractors and workers break in toilets before any guest ever use them.

Well, to be fair, Pomsie's videos are more about the hotels here in Vegas and very exciting. While Jacob's were all about the life in Sin City and all he does is talks to the camera, not very exciting stuff.

For those that didn’t know a lot of the foundation for resorts world was actually built before the 2008 housing crisis. It was going to be named the echelon. It kept being delayed over and over again until it was sold a few times and then resorts world got their hands on it. They built the hotel based off the existing half built structure that was made for a different hotel.

@@soberanisfam1323 yeah, back then a lot of projects stopped contruction. Right across the street is the fountainblue now known as the drew. It’s been sitting there since construction halted in 2009. There have been attempts to finally open it as the drew but the company who owned it defaulted in their loan last year and there hasn’t been any news since. Kind of sad to think about. I wish resorts world the best, it just seems like vegas can only handle so much business. Eventually the market will become over saturated

Mamak Stall looks like too much fun and definitely a must next time I'm on the Strip. Last time we hit the Underground at the Mob Museum downtown. We did it the classic way, coming in from the service entrance. Couldn't get into the Barbershop at Cosmo but the front is amazing, and functional! I am forever in love with speakeasy concept.

I did pay that in last week of May and stayed in a two room two bathroom suite at Delano for 4 nights.

Just got back from a stay at RW, wished we would have watched this video first, take his advice and wait a couple of months. Service was bad and all the computer systems from the hotel check-in to the Famous Street Foods were down. The wait for our food at Famous Street Foods was at least 45 minutes and they are for dumplings. This place will be better in a couple of months once all the bugs are worked out.

One bedroom plus a living room. Master bath plus powder room. I do believe the sofa might be a pullout bed. So in actuality, you are getting 2 rooms for $1000.
@@kl3271 We stayed at the Delano and had all of that with a TV in the bathroom and did not pay nowhere near that price.
@@TGHUGHES1267 ultimately it is based on supply and demand. Like New Year's Eve compared to Christmas week prices.
Of course the " new resort" is going to be pricey the first weeks of opening up!...
We stayed in a deluxe king at the Hilton tower for $169 a night. (plus $50 resort fee for the pool etc). Totally worth it.

My hope is that since you dropped 1 large out of pocket on a suite, they will get wind of your review and who you are, then hook you up with one of their mega suites/penthouses/villas/whatever. The room, with all due respect to them, seemed a bit vanilla versus many of the places you've taken us to. It just felt (to me) like it was missing that vegas "WoW!"

Just get a room at the Hilton grand vacation suites next to circus circus or the club Wyndham grand desert the rooms are amazing they have arcades and they have 3 pools one that’s 24 hrs best hotels to stay at in Vegas I go with my wife and son all the time going again in July 😎

Great video man. I’ve been wanting to stay there since I found out about the place. I have a room booked in September and I can’t wait to see the place for myself. I booked my room for around $250 a night.
We recently stayed at RW in the Hilton tower. Amazing property. We came home and booked our next stay for August in the Conrad tower. Can't wait. Loved the food court area. You kind of skipped over that. We thought it was unique in many ways. Didn't know about the speakeasy though! We'll have to look for that next time. Great casino, nice restaurants, cool retail area - everything very accessible. Pool was our favorite part! Spent a few hours there every day and thoroughly enjoyed the Agave pool bar and restaurant. We love it here. PS. We were going to try the infinity pool but they wanted like $200 bucks each to enter and use a chair. A little steep - no thanks. Plenty of chairs and space at the other pools. Too bad. Would have liked to experience the infinity pool. Also, one of the other pools is private for Crockford's I believe.

Great review info brother. Little things like then having Grubhub deliver food from restaurants to the pool and room is huge! Some of the big luxury hotels dont allow that and people request that ALL THE TIME. Cause they don’t want to deal with long waits from ISD. The secret rooms at resort world looked something worth filming 👍🏼

Yes I love watching Pompsie and Gretta. I have been to Vegas over 30 times. 10 trips which were this past year due to I was unemployed and would travel to see relatives in California, and use Las Vegas as the airport. We'd stay a few night on arrival and before departure.

not impressed with that room OR casino. I was surprised to hear they have less than 2,000 slot machines. the place is too big. i like the old Vegas much better, but that's just my opinion. To me, the Wynn is the nicest place to stay; rooms are great and you don't have to walk to the end of the earth to find an elevator. Love your channel, Pompsie. You do have the best Vegas Vlog out there. Keep it up please!
