A note on the AWD system. Our 2018 equinox in similar. You have to push the AWD button to engage. However the car montiors out temperatures , and if the temps are at or near freezing , the dash will ask you to engage AWD, and it can be turned on at any speed.
I love that is has selectable AWD. You don’t need it most of the time and you definitely get better fuel economy when not using it. PLUS if you blow out a tire you can just not use AWD much after you replace just that tire and not ruin the other tires. Full time AWD vehicles eat tires and this should be a lot better.
@@ZeeMan84 not exactly because you’re still carrying the extra weight of the AWD system vs. a FWD vehicle, but it would still be better than full time AWD.
Okay,I like the AT4. Are the 18 inch wheels the same bolt circle as my 18 inch 2017 Z71 Tahoe rims? Both are 6 bolt but I expect the new Acadia is a smaller bolt circle.
did you happen to pay any attention to your gas milage with that trailer on the back and what kind of rpm was it running on the highway at what speed? side note my 2024 Subaru outback wilderness will do the hands-free driving with a trailer on the back also.
I own a 2017 Acadia and love it. 31 MPG highway in 2WD mode. I don't understand making it bigger. If you wanted something bigger you bought the Chevy Traverse. I know there's the Terrain, but the Acadia was the perfect size for my wife and I.
@@iggibars it is now. Prior to the Acadia being upsized this year it was smaller than the Traverse and larger than the Terrain. It was the perfect size for me.
Literally i saw old acadias all the time and some of them really make it to 200k miles and more with orignal engines. Also from the last generation the acadia and traverse are doing will and it is rare to see anyone complain about them like the previous generations. So i think this generation well do a great job in terms of Reliability🤷🏻♂️
Until they get from " COAST TO COAST" THAT IS THE WHOLE WINDSHIELD THING OFF THE SPECAL GLASSES THAT YOU WARE EVERTHING WILL BE IN 3D LIKE A JET FIGHTER PLAIN. OR A CADDY LACK FOR 2025 ESCALADE THAT IS,!, !!!🎉🎉😅
I think its how there is no separation in the windows at the C pillar. If you look at the last gen and the new Traverse they both look more like SUVs. The continous line of uninterrupted windows just doesn't look appealing even if it's practical
You should have used your camera man to show interior shot. What a waste of opportunity to just focus on you. I want to see those door side panels. You missed big time here.

I love your truck reviews, very helpful with the features you go over and the off roads tests are badass
Took a rental with super cruz from Fla to Conn. Was impressed with it. Made the 17 hrs much easier.

My wife’s enclave has the option to turn on AWD or not and it’s great. Only time we turn it on is in the winter and that’s it.

I just bought my at4 and love it. Thank you for sharing.

Nice job Truck King
The infotainment screens will graduate to the front window passenger side first through the heads up display screen

What? The Acadia and Traverse are the same car, just different sheetmetal.

Honda Pilot Trailsport or Acadia AT4 - which is more offroad capable?
Both have really good AWD systems, and _some_ skid plates. The difference mostly comes down to clearance and angles.
It looks good, but does it use the same engine and transmission as previous models?
Excellent review as always!!! 😁
Better payload than the tundra you just tested.
🔥🔥🔥
we're on our way to 60" screens. Screens are just a way for the automaker to justify the conintually increased costs.
Im pretty Sure GMC Charged you for the Frog...it is an Option, They call it ' Spring Forward Mode ' 🙂
Looks like terrain deluxe, th3y ditched the old Acadia look and made a bigger terrain, but I like it!!!
Do that again in 5 years time with 80k miles on the clock, with original engine transmission and without using a tow truck to get it there 😅
It'll be exactly the same.

My man, you have no idea how ignorant you sound making claims like this on a brand new vehicle. Impossible to know if it’ll be bad.
I have a 2015 with 73,000 miles and zero problems. At least until I posted this….
Now they the inside cameras my goodness a mini has it this year... Come ON MARY BARRA😮😢😊🎉🎉
😢
They nailed the looks. That engine is a let down which desperately needs a hybrid system for refinement.
I think you should mention whether premium fuel is required. With today's gas prices, premium fuel would be a deal breaker for me.
uses regular fuel

Who don't want one.!!😊😊
Yukon is the way to go!
Depends on the want or need.
Hard to justify the extreme price difference for most people
Minivan? Or is it just the fleet/rental all white that makes it look so blah? I guess GMC knows where these are headed …

It's a GM. You'll be in for warranty every 4 weeks.
Are they really that bad? I’m not expecting high quality from an American car, but are they really so bad?
Drove 2 Tahoes for 11 years... Zero issues if the maintenance is done on time!

That’s a mini van.
The Main Problem with this SUV is?? The Toyota 4Runner Exists. 🙄
True. And with a price of $58K CAD and the ability to seat seven my money would go to that vehicle even though it's a little more expensive.
The main problem is that Acadias seize to exist in 5 years time after they have drained the owner’s wallet 😂
Visually they might seem like they compete but they are very different vehicles with different purposes.
Last i checked the 4 runner isn't a 3 row suv.
@hoganlegdrop2409 the 2024 model can be had with 5 or 7 passenger seating
