When I were 12/13 I was suecidal. Not sad, not going through tough time, but actually clinicly depressed. I used to lay down, not talking to everyone( I've lost all my friends) unable to even take care of myself. Existing but not living. I were still a young kid at that time so I still had a fear of the dark, but I even overcame this by thinking that being killed by something is not a bad scenario after all. It is scary, and I never told this to everyone but true. I was never scared anymore, and used to go on a long walks in the nights, hoping something will kill me. My parents allowed it thinking it was just a way to ease my mind. To be honest I do not remember what stopped me from ending everything. It was a weird time, and I cannot even recall eny moment from that period of time.
I started taking meds. I got better. I made a lot of friends, even had boys attracted to me. Everybody knew me as a popular girl. No one could tell i were depressed anymore. It was my secret.
Right now, Im almost 16. I feel it coming back. And i feel extremely pathetic

Hi. I had a similar teenagehood. I often felt depressed and suicidal, then got better and fall back - again and again and again. I just want you to know that life is hard, being a teen is hard, growing up is hard and it will never get easy but you become stronger with every single day you keep pushing. There is always a rainbow after the storm, no matter how hopeless it might seem right now.. There will be fall backs, you will think life is a btch, but you gotta keep living otherwise you won't be able to see what waits for you. The only way from the rock-bottom is up. I'm proud of you for being brave and keep fighting. Have a beautiful day!

I associate the song with intense feelings of loneliness and depression. The echo makes me feel a feeling reminiscent of being alone in a large but completely barren room
Same. It makes me feel grief apart from the feelings of loneliness, depression and dread that I anyways feel. But the most intense is that of grief, grief that I will soon face. When I lose the people I do. Unless I go first.
Interesting, for me it’s the opposite. I’m so scared of being alone and I constantly surround myself with meaninglessness or just make myself do tasks. But the thought of just slowing down, being alone and in complete silence with my thoughts. I can’t say it feels great but it’s a little comforting to stop and give myself some time, even though the journeys far it’s a start. But different experiences I guess.

Hello, I know it's hard I know that it seem so difficult to be happy. But just tell yourself that before every tears there were laughs and after every tears there wille be laughs. hi, im writting this comment bc i need advice on my situation. I have a best friend that i love so much and she loves me too. We used to be in the same school but i had to switch school (still living in the same city tho). We used to see each other every day but things are different now. I have strict parents that don't allow me to go out that much. Because of that, I can't go to most of the hang outs that she plans (most of the time with other people) even tho I really wish I could. She has other friends that can hang out and I see them always together. I think she is slowly replacing me. How do I handle this situation?

It`s 23:45h and I can`t sleep. There are so many bad memories and a big fight with my Best Friend. She said I am dumb and i am the one who makes mistakes. Maybe she`s right and I`m just nothing and yeah. Or she is toxic, But I can`t let her go because she will get all my friends on her side if I do that. Does anyone have a tip for me? What can I do?
if she is putting all the bad things on your side without even considering what she did ( if you think she did something that could have hurted you ) then she is toxic. If you let her go and your " friend" don't follow you anymore they don't want you to be happy and they are not your friends. I don't know your problem with your bestfriend but if you were really close then she can't leave you and let you fall in a bad place. Sorry for my bad english.
