it's just that DBZA's Vegeta doesn't have the same DBZ personality. Remember that DBZA is a parody and exaggeration of personalities, especially Vegeta.
Yeah, and even though we didn’t witness it, Vegeta took a lot of shit from Freeza, and it probably looked a lot like this, but with more resentment.
Bulma is the most important character in Dragon Ball, back in the original series she was the one who discovered the Dragon Balls and built the radar, if you look up every saga there is Bulma influence. It's a good example that there is no need to be a warrior to be important
That's because Bulma is Akira's version of Tang Sanzang.

@@cieno200 Without Goku Bulma would’ve died to Monster Carrot, nothing with the saiyans would happen to earth and we wouldn’t see Freeza, no androids or Cell, Majin Buu would eventually be woken up and would destroy the earth and supreme kai, killing Beerus, and eventually Zeno would erase universe 7, along with many of the other universes. All of this just because there was no Goku.

Super is definitely more light hearted then Z
And gods have often been depicted as childish through most of human history, and that's because when there's only a handful of people powerful enough to say 'No' to you, and most of them don't care what you do most of the time, especially to the "little people", you don't learn empathy or how to regulate your emotions. So you get a lot of light hearted moments that are actually quite terrifying if you placed yourself in the shoes of the regular people living in that world.
This whole tournament about to happen is the ground work for a real arc

Bro the trunks arc had insanely great art and the animation, choreography in the fights. It was somewhat close to that of battle of gods and resurrection f but not quite there since those two are movies and need huge fundings... it was also so satisfying seeing The main cast being folded tonnes of times😂 and zamasu actually winning at the end...well until xeno pressed *DELETE*

She was introduced to tie in the Galactic Patrol comics, which existed before "Battle of Gods", to the Dragon Ball Universe.

@@ladychrya9379 Not every character, but Tights? 24 years of material went by without any indication that Bulma ever had any siblings. Considering that decades-long stretch of time and her status as a main character, Tights really does come out of nowhere, same with Vegeta's brother. Characters like Beerus and Whis get a bit of a pass since we aren't all up in the lives of the characters they're closely connected to, but Bulma and Vegeta's siblings going unmentioned throughout all of Dragon Ball until, suddenly, they exist and show up and start casually getting name-dropped into things? Yeah, they come out of nowhere.

Hi Steph, I don't know if you'll ever be able to watch OG DB (there are 153 episodes but if you skip the filler you can watch 132), but if you don't want to or can't, I'd like to recommend some episodes to get the vibe of og
I haven't seen if anyone explained it but Super Sayian Blue is essentially them going Super Sayian God and then stacking Super Sayian on top of that, I know the movie doesn't really explain it well but that's why the hair is spikey in blue and not in the regular God form.
And I'll add a little, the ssj God form (the red one) is essentially closer to being a base form then it is a super Sayian form, it's basically them just using God ki that's why they can stack ssj on top of it.

The way Vegeta obtained "god" ki, is still something out of left field.
He just got it without real explanation.
He got it through training with whis. He basically states it when goku first goes to beerus' planet
Go back to episode 16 to find out who/what Whis is. It will only tell you his role, not exactly what kinda being he is but you can read the comments after you watch that episode

They’re reasons are petty is because they’re bored gods with power
Both Goku and vegeta can achieve the red form on their own the blue one is even stronger.. in some of the episodes before Ressurection of F, Vegeta and later Goku go on and train with Whis, Whis sends them to another dimension at behest of beerus, where both Goku and Vegeta train for while and learn to access this godly energy, or God Ki, with it, they learned to go Super saiyan god, and went even further to super saiyan blue, which is even stronger then the red form... Just a little explanation and context for this, which is not given fully in the movies.

In the anime version on the movie arcs you would see brief scenes of Champa and Vados when things were going down. In the Resurrection F arc when Beerus and Whis were on their way to Earth they actually ran into them and were suspicious about what they were doing cutting though universe 7.

This first arc is light hearted but the next one is quite dark.
I recommend watching the previous 2 arcs on your own time. You're missing some big contexts that were introduced, and it does answer some of your questions too.
anyone can summon the Dragon and you know that from the early episodes of abridged when they brought Goku back to fight Vegeta and Nappa, and in Kai when bulma summoned him to resurrect the people Vegeta killed at the Stadium during the tournament, and in RoF Movie when Pilaf and Frieza soldiers resurrected Frieza.
This is a universal 6 and 7 tournament
Speaking on the animation, while i would agree on the muscle bit, it makes sense considering Toriyama in this time period started to draw the characters more scrawnier (i know it's an open theory that god ki made them skinnier)
But toriyama at least imo got tired of drawing buff men and wanted to draw them normally or at least athletically built.
The animation designer is Tadoyoshi Yamamuro. He worked on Z and comparing his work from to Z to super is a tremendous downgrade. He's very much hated in the community lol
Personally I'd check out episode one of super just for some pre plot stuff. Cute moments with gotten and trunks ect. There are a few episodes that add context but id definitely not recommended hunting those individually. Just the 1st in my humble oppinion
Namekians are needed to summon the namekian Dragonball’s only in the Frieza saga before they taught the dragon English. The Earth Dragonballs can be summoned by anyone.

I gotta disagree with you on American food. If you are eating at chain restaurants then sure, the food is mediocre at best, but I mean c'mon now. This country is the melting pot of the entire world. Every type of cuisine that exists, exists in the US in every conceivable form. You will find world class food in so many cities and towns. It's just a matter of taking the effort to look into whats good around you. I mean you can find world class barbecue, or the best Mexican food for instance, literally on the side of the road in some cities and towns.
America is where it's at for food.
Especially in the hood and mom and pop shops. This banged up gas station I went to...had the best and most high quality burger I've ever had. It wasn't even wagyu. So much seasoning, so much juices and flavor. I think it might have shut down tho over the years. But still, American is a top tier food country
Food from other cultures being sold in America doesn’t make it American food, that’s how I see it.
