Definitely purple. You are so enthusiastic, you never fail to lift my spirits. I’m stitching Summer Quaker on a 40 count very slubby linen, so I need all the positivity I can get. I love the stitching, but not the frogging and I am getting a lot of practice on this linen. Have a great 2 weeks. Thank you
Hi Jen glad I found you. I use to live in the harbo for 25 years and now I'm in Cle Elum WA. I hope you find like minded stitchers close so you can have a get together.
I stitched a piece similar to Americana Red and I used both red and blue flosses, the colors worked well together in case you want to play with that option. And I like the purple fabric for the Carolyn Manning.
Thanks for the idea - red and blue are always a classic choice in my book. But I hadn't thought about mixing them until you and another view mentioned it. Now my wheels are spinning. And purple is definitely winning!
Hi Jen! I was so delighted to discover your channel and another stitcher who's so close to me! I live just north of you in Port Orchard. Very much enjoyed your video and look forward to more. Also - in case you don't know - there's a lovely local stitching group that meets up every other week in Silverdale. We would love to have you join us if you're interested!
Sorry on the delayed response. I’m a little starstruck that you have watched. I love your channel. I do know that group and went a couple time when they used to meet on the weekends. Now that Becca does it during the week it’s harder for me.
@@harborstitcher No need for apologies! Life gets busy, and I'm always behind on responding to comments on my channel. I totally get it. :) I'm glad you're familiar with the group, but it's a bummer that the schedule change makes it harder for you to come. I used to go every week when we first started meeting because it was always a weeknight, but when they switched to weekends I could never make it work. Just the opposite of you. :) Thanks for your kinds words about my channel! That's so sweet! Even if you can't make it to the stitchy meetups, maybe we can connect for a separate stitchy meetup sometime. I love connecting with other stitchers when I can!
Thank you for your video. Another great visit! I think the drink might be Kahlua and cream, and I'm leaning towards the purple for the CM Halloween piece. Your WIPS are looking good. Nice fabric choices from Lynn's. I will put everyone who is in these dangerous areas on my prayer list. Take care and happy stitching!
Hey, so maybe that drink is a coffee cocktail like a Bailey's and whiskey? It's making me think of a coffee drink I tried on a very cold day in Senlis, France. College trip, and my minor in French got me in just enough trouble for a girl who rarely drank alcohol to miss the descriptive names of liquors. There were three of them in the coffee, and the waiter and bartender were trying desperately in rapid French to tell me that I should rethink my life choices. I felt they didn't think my French was up to snuff and I doubled down. Well, I don't much remember that gorgeous Gothic cathedral, thank God for my pictures. No falling off chairs or anything, but that afternoon was just a fuzzy French haze. Coffee drink is my vote.
Discovered your channel yesterday. Enjoyed your WIPS and current projects. I saw some projects that I would like to acquire. Looking forward to your next video.
Love the idea of murky! Think it's great to see projects done on other than called for colour fabrics ... will be excited to see whichever you choose and your progress. Loved seeing the fabrics too ... none of which we get in NZ lol bit so gorgeous!
Cobweb Corner does their own flosstube sometimes. Helen D is affiliated with them and does great tutorials. Two flosstubes that advocate Glendon Place are Carolina Stitchers (Joy) and Accio WIP (Kevin?).
I like the Halloween piece on purple. There is too much black in the pattern (or dark brown?) for it to show well on Murky (i.e. trees, house outlines, etc.).
The unknown drink looks like a Black Russian to me. I’m impressed that you were able to find Lakeside Linen. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on how it differs from other linens. As for the year long Halloween SAL, today I like the purple. If you ask again next week, I might say the Murky. I know that’s not helpful except to say that I don’t think you’ll go wrong with either one. I’m enjoying your videos! See you next time!
Thank you for letting me know. I didn't hear that on my end, but I have an external speaker on my computer. Hubby just confirmed it is lower than normal so we'll be sure to fix for the next video. I'm so grateful you hung in with me.

Aww, thank you. I’ll be here cheering you on with that 40ct. You’re braver than me and just remember, it will look gorgeous when it’s done.
Purple. Everything pops. Also thanks for my fabric. Love mom
Thank Mom! ❤️
Love your lighting today! Thanks for showing all the linen.
Thank you! Lighting is always a challenge, but in learning 😀
I’m favoring the Purple fabric 💜 looking forward to seeing your start next month
Enjoyed your video and seeing your projects and haul. So glad you were able to go to a new shop! 😊

Hahahaha-glad you had your pictures to remember it by. But now, because of that story this will forever be a coffee cocktail!!

If you want charming go with purple…if you want dramatic go with murky. They will both work, it will just be a different effect.
New to your channel. Enjoyed your video. I just started using dinky dyes silk floss and absolutely love it. I highly recommend it just love it
Thanks for watching and glad to hear a positive recommendation for the Dinky Dye's. I think I'll be giving them a try.
How about Americana Red in blue floss and then stitch the row of cherries in red? So cute!
Oooh I LOVE this idea. That ticks a lot of boxes for me. I think we have a plan!

I didn’t know that. I’ll definitely check it out and thanks for the Glendon Place flosstube suggestions.
Definitely the purple for Halloween Hamlet- I am stitching it on a purplish blue and the colors ansolutely pop on it!!! I enjoy your videos!!
Purple
Glad to see you back!! Love seeing your progress!!!
Maybe your unknown drink is a Kahlua and Cream???? And yes, prayers for everyone for sure..........
I feel obligated to vote for my favorite color: Purple 💜

Market is kinda cool
How about a brown cow...Kailua and cream.
Ooh - Could be! Although, I never know a Kahlua and Cream was call that 😀

Hahaha - you sound like me on fabric. Ask me tomorrow and it's a different answer!

The volume is really low. I had to turn the volume from 18 to 67. I really enjoy your videos, so I did not hesitate to do so.

Murky. I think it will look kind of creepy and dramatic, which is kind of what Halloween is about.
