Hahaha - I can just hear Phoebe from Friends talking about Lobster's now. Maybe I was channeling my inner her and now my "finishing lobster" and I are joined for life. 😂
Nice to have you on my list of favorite Floss Tubes. You have a good philosophy of doing a mix of fancy floss with DMC, sometimes there's very few stitches which wouldn't lend well to variegated floss.
So many great projects in the works and kitted up and ready to go! I love the Popcorn one! I too ama chatty Kathy! My kids always joke with me about how much I can talk! Love your intro and picture of all the boats! Thanks for a wonderful, colorful, fun, and informative floss tube!
You have some wonderful charts kitted up. And if you're like me, you want to start them all right now - even if you already have too many! We have similar taste in many of the things we like to stitch, but approach our stitching so differently. But as Brenda of Brenda and the Serial Starter has been known to say - "you do you"! To me it's all about the fun, the relaxation, the chance to meet new people and make new friends. I look forward to your next video.
Thank you for the sweet comment. I'd love to know how you approach your stitching? I look at it through the same lens as you, but 100% admit that my anxiety of having to many kicks in. Maybe it's just other people's voices creeping into my mind worrying about that. I love Vicky of the Virginia Stitcher and she doesn't care at all what people think of her WIP numbers. Maybe I need to embrace more of her and Brenda. :)
I'm not as bad at serial starting as I used to be but will never be monogamous! I like to do borders as I go along - I get bored easily! I count off border and motifs along the way and it works well. I also love overdye floss so much that I almost always use all that is called for. I do have to watch for two colors that have some similar color in the variation - if they are close to each other in the pattern, they tend to get lost. I need to keep working on that one! Don't let others "get in your head", but we also learn so much from others. It's awesome.
After I watched your video last week I soaked my crunchy Aida in woolite water and hurray it came out soft! The only floss I know that is not colorfast is Classic Color works so you should be ok. We have an Archie dog that we adopted too! He’s a Shepherd mix and we adore him. I have to get that kind and gentle sampler stitch, it’s so cute.
You have so many wonderful kits! I’ll look forward to seeing you work on them when the time comes. I’m really enjoying your channel so far. Happy stitching!
Thank you for your video. That was a fun kit parade! You have some great choices in there! I'll be interested to see the first one you pick from it. Take care and happy stitching!
I'm sorry I didn't post on your first video. This one was better. I love all of your projects and can't wait to see your progress on the Blue Heeler. Take care
I gave that Marilyn Monroe quote from Stilton Crafts, too!!! I’m not sure about stitching all that background… that Buttercream fabric might be a contender if they have Aida… great parade! By the way I live in Edmonds!! Nice to find another local stitcher!!!
You have some great projects kitted up. I don't know if you watch Collette the Highway Stitcher, but she's just finished the Bent Creek pattern. It's beautiful stitched up. I have the Seagull pattern in my pile of patterns. I love ocean/beach patterns.
I have just started watching her and will need to find that finish. Thank you. I love Beach/Ocean patterns too and will be sharing a couple of new ones I just got in my next video 🤫
❤love the claws! it says dinner to me 😂 I have nautical theme in kitchen and den. I have the embellishments on sir Thomas and I need to finish kitting it up.
Hello, you have great kits. I think to stitch the same pattern you kit from autumn lane, the witch, I like this pattern. I must stitch it soon. ❤ you made wonderful cloth with your own dying. I wonder how to do the same, in France it is very difficult to buy fancy cloth with modeling.
Thank you! That Autumn Lane pattern is really fun! For the fabric I just used Rit Dye. Feel free to message me if you have questions on it. Harborstitcher@gmail.com
I used RIT dye and just got it from Michael’s. That one is a combo of Rose Quartz and Taupe (had to check my bottles to confirm). I just played with the levels and tested on a white plate until I liked the color.
Could you please please move the jacket and hat that is behind your left shoulder. I keep thinking it's a man coming into your room 😂😂😂 it's freaking me out
I love the phrase "finishing lobster"!

Love two of you kitted up projects. Claws and Summer at the Shore. Great second video.

I'd love to see the mannekin lamp please!?!
I love the concept on the overdyed floss!! So smart!
And P.S. your hair is fabulous, so beautiful!

Thank you - Maybe we'll need a #popcornSAL later this year!
@@harborstitcher a popcorn stitch along would be terrific! Keep us posted!

Thank you! After going through them I’m feeling a start soon 😀

So glad it worked, that is my experiment this weekend. Archie’s for the win!! 💕

Thank you! The time may come soon because now I have the itch to start them all 🤣
Great video, watched both today after Stitching By The Shore shouted you out. Happy Stitching. 🪡🧵🙏
Thank you for making your way over. Laura is wonderful! Happy Stitching to you too!
I do the same thing with the over dye floss in my projects! Bigger blocks over dyes, less stitching DMC.
Great video!!! I’m playing catch up on my flosstube!!!
Thank you for making the time to include me in the catch-up!
Enjoyed your Flosstube. Hi from WV.
Love the projects you have. More my style!
Thank you! I have pretty eclectic taste so there's probably something for everyone (except true reproduction sampler lovers).

Thank you!!
Es on washing the crunchy Aida! And I dye my own fabric so yes I t does help take the sizing out.
I know what you mean. I’m not a big Halloween person but love Halloween patterns! Why is that?? Great floss tube!
Haha, glad I’m not the only one. They are just too cute though.
You have some fun projects kitted up. It will be fun to see when you start them.
Thanks! It’s going to be tough deciding what to start first.

What kind of dye do you use? The rose gold and tan cloth is gorgeous, I want to do that. Thanks

Hahaha - that’s a mannequin lamp that one of my sons made me and I’ve put a coat on 🤣 I’ll see what I can do to adjust the camera angle.
