Hey, I'm from Germany and did a gap year in South Korea before I started CS at school, then realized I'm reaaaally passionate about trading and changed my major to economics. What topics/ books would you say cover everything you need to know for your trading role at GS or trading on your own? Great content btw!!!
Awesome! Honestly, you can't go wrong with CS and it's great that you at least have exposure to it. Nowadays it's probably a better major than Econ. The books that I read when preparing for interviews and starting on the job were these, I highly recommend: Flash Boys 👉 amzn.to/3MQ5kFl Inside the Black Box 👉 amzn.to/3GPituv Dark Pools 👉 amzn.to/3KLqVfm The Man Who Solved the Market 👉 amzn.to/3A9Gtog The Intelligent Investor👉 amzn.to/3ofvPJU These all give you really good exposure to the trading world, specifically electronic/algo trading, which has changed a lot over the past decade. Hope that helps!
@@Moneyandcareers Thanks man, the thing is it's just hard for me to study CS when I'm not passionate about the topics whatsoever, just following my interests now, besides: for daytrading you don't need any degree 😇😇
