Assuming you can still jump will pulling a sleigh (works with a cart if still in Bastion) you can use it as a trailer together with your truck. While pulling, jump onto the cargo area of the truck so that you are just standing on the edge of it and let go of the sleigh/cart. Should be stuck and can be moved along. Another Bastion tip that hopefully works on Volcalidus: if you are going to forge A LOT of drills put a pallet in place of the spawning point before you start. You keep forging and the forge will “create” all drills in the same spot, ignoring collision of items. At the end lift the pallet and all drills (or whatever you forged) will be on it. Moving with a pallet is slow, but at least you only need to do it once. Another thing that could help bonehunting: while driving a truck (don’t know if the other vehicles can do it, would be freaking hilarious if it works with the hauler or tank) hold the handbrake (spacebar by default) and any direction key. After a few seconds you will get yeeted with massive force into a random direction. If the direction is bad quickly pause the game and relocate the vehicle with the button at the bottom right. But if the direction is good you can do a flyby of a very large area.
That spanner conveyor thing is mind blowing just a simple design to make the game less of a repair simulator and more of a mining game ill definitely use that
About the "it just works" bit... I actually went through the trouble of farming perfect forgemarks, well... ONE perfect mark of 6 stars for my heavy harvester and I used all the 5 star ones I had on the heavy drills and the nuggest that come out of those are actually so big that I had to use one extra straight conveyor with a centralising hook after each nugget sorter, because otherwise the nuggets would drop slightly off center, hit the rim of the crucible and cause all sorts of problems.
When you go into screenshot mode, you can toggle some option in the low left corner or your screen. The lowest one lets you adjust the time of day. So there is no need for using creative mode in alternate savefiles. :)
I tend to keep an Ore from each of the Abandoned Miners that I obtained at it's Max Weight, and then slice off with the Logic Saw the amount I need for each NPC that asks for Ore!
I bought all of the build crates in New Glade ... the tier 1 ,2 ,and 3 crates the jeweler crat , the ticket office crate , and there is one more with a emerald or diamond on it , and I'm not sure what that one is for ... or what I DID WITH IT . obviouslyI AM NOT ASKING YOU TO FIND IT FOR ME , LOL , BUT ONLY TO TELL ME WHAT IT IS FOR . I know I am missing out on items that I could be purchasing , but I don't know what they are ?
hey a question. So my esc key isnt working for this game. I have a new keyboard and when i press esc nothing happens. I don't want to get stuck in a hole or anything lol. So there a solution to this? i looked at the keybindings but there isnt one for the esc key. Thanks!
for the love of all things holy someone please tell me how to collect bricks automatically because i throw down a bucket and it works all well and good then ill leave and go for a drive and come back to a nightmare of bricks bloody everywhere, im at the point where im just gunna launch them into a destroyer and say screw it and not unlock any stores or anything. Brick be a damn nightmare
what bricks are you talking about hardstone..... why are u making so many bricks.. put a logic keypad in the side of the hardstone maker press the red button to clear display and make the number massive then press the green button
@@Hybridsteel im dumb lol for some reason my brain instantly thought, putting the logic keypad on it would only make the bricks wait to fire out but the bricks would still be 10 weight each. Just a brainless moment on my part lol
honestly it happens to a lot of people even me. should have seen us lot in testing phase trying to work everything out as we wernt told anything basically seeing how long it took for people to understand everything.. it was fun
@@Hybridsteel brother im glad youre the one doing it and not me lol i dont have the patience like i once had but these games that have next to no information about game mechanics and the like are frustrating until they arnt lol had the same (receding hairline) experience with astroneer but once i got to certain point it was all falling into place. Patience and my lack of it, i have myself to blame thanks for the informative vids brother

Thanks for the roller tip, I was trying to sink the roller and front wheels down, but it just wasn't working. That back wheel trick is fantastic.

theres a video coming out today with me buiilding it for my setup im currently running so its like an extension of that section of the video.
My way of dealing with the ore contracts: Ignore them, contracts refresh fast enough that you enough jewelry and weapons to make.
Logic Saw + Abandoned Miner!
Little tip: you'll exit a vehicle in the direction your camera is facing (sides/back).

i didn't know the spanner conveyor thing, that is really nice to have
I didn't think I could bring my drills down to lower tiers, thank you so very much for this tip!!!
It's not just you on the logic switch for compressors, I do the same thing for the same reason.
I love these tips, so many things where i go "oh right, that makes so much sense!". Thanks for putting this together!
This stuff is awesome. I work with PLC's (programable logic controllers) and this crosses over SO much with my job!

good point.. honestly that slipped my mind
thank you for the Tips about the bones. i finally found my last one.

whenu got a working mine though seems a bit redundant as the nuggets you get from tier 3 will be good enough for all customers
yess a tip video
Hydroneer bug and strong. Hope you're enjoying it. I am planning to get the expansion, but life is stopping me from getting into it.
I didn't know that you didn't need a logic flow for compressors to work
U don't need it but it helps to have control of them. If not u can just hook them to the water.
I have an idea for another vid. Do a comparison of heavy drills vs lava drills based on the same footprint size. compare their outputs.
no real point but thanks for the idea.
what store on volcalidus has the filters? i cant seem to find them
the one in new gale and there should be some in lumberton as well as its an equipment store.
@@Hybridsteel thank you so much. I feel blind after looking again

the one with the gem on it is the jeweler so u have a selling point in new glade.
