Potato here, also I don´t like big builds, more of a oficiant. I like to test the variety this game offers, it´s actually perfect for my autistic brain. I am glad, you´re still doing these tutorials. This game deserves more attention and players.
awesome review of the plots I almost went to waterside before I started building where I am now.. definitely a nice chunk of land to build on.. might have to go there and redesign my build and figure out the layout I want so it looks cleaner. always enjoy your vids.
Exactly the video I needed mate, cheers! I'm about to move on from Dawn Rest so I can get corestone but I want to save Waterside for when I have heavy drills/heavy harvester. I think I'll go with lumberton bluff as my second site
I went with cinder foot, just because of how close it is to the shops I need. I need the house stuff, logic, and conveyers so I wanted to be close to that.
Commenting for the sake of Al Gore rhythm. Installing heavy drills to the bottom by a mine shaft was harrowing. I didn't know there has to be a bit of mineable terrain on the ground to be able to place them with the crane, I figured the bottom is the bottom. Went mad trying to figure that out, eventually got it, then raked dirt only where the drills would be, and left the rest bare. Still fiddly, but I could see the dirt well enough from the top while placing them to get the placement exactly right.
Ive actually been getting ALOT of corestone at the starting plot with using your starter set up you showed in a video, funnily enough ive gotten more corestone then cloudium
Atleast we dont have to do so much to get the wand like we didnon the main land get me thise specific item with these in it or a lobster of such amount pf weight The dlc is really just dig deep and boom theres the relic got all ofnthem boom heres the wand
Maybe mine was glitched, but I've only dug at dawn rest with the starter machines at new glade and i've gotten every resource from the surface of Dawn's Rest.
if you have been using a pan and u have either fired dirt from dill to pan or shovel to pan you have a chance at getting all elements.... if you are using a harvester then drills placed at 2 blocks below surface have a chance of cloutium and if they are T2 dirt/snow u will get corestone..
@@Hybridsteel That makes more sense! I did have a drill with a lava line coming over top, both aimed at a well placed pan. Since using the harvester and moving my setup I stopped getting them.

Thanks for that!
Thanks for the informative video once again! :) Lumberton does look like the spot for me, I've been working shattered breach.
thank you mister steel, I watched your channel a lot when I played my first save and now I'm watching because of the dlc.

Congrats on 20k mate!
thanks matey means a lot the channel is still sort of kicking by
I think Lumberton Bluff is for me even though I have a really good computer. The space is good. There’s more level. 3 dirt

cloutium is more rare thats why. its a bit silly but thats the way its worked out.
@@Hybridsteel i find that funny cause base game corestone is supposed to be more rare no?
nope corestone is quite common its just only found from t2 and below not really rare.
I like to separate the frost rock from the ice that the drills produce. That seems to be enough to run all the water needs.
later on u wont need to do that when you get the heavy harvester
@@Hybridsteel I don't have my glasses on and I read that as "the heavy hamster" lol

Did you skip Scoria? also could you add chapters with the names of each digsite?
edit: Scoria is the one with lots of layers and underground lava 8:23
LOVE IT
Thank you so very much for these videos man ❤️
