- Photographing New Zealand is a new series of landscape photography vlogs. Where I take you on the adventure with me, to showcase this incredible country through timelapse, photo and video.
In this episode, I head out into Fjordland National Park and Milford Sound to shoot more timelapses and landscape photography. We get caught up in some interesting weather that creates dramatic waterfalls to capture.

Those waterfall/mist shots are just gorgeous. One day mate, one day.
Haha glad you got to see our special alpine parrots fly by in Milford Sound, the Kea. Like your images they are beautiful. Videos from visitors always make us Kiwis remember what a beautiful country we live in.

I am from new Zealand living in Christchurch in the South Island. Thankyou for showing my country in the way you have.its a fantastic place , so glad you enjoyed all the waterfalls, landscapes and the birds which are not kiwis at the beginning of this video but KEA a parrot type bird from NZ. The kiwi bird has bad eyesight And love in burrows in the ground because they can't fly..great work xxx
Doing a great job of showing how beautiful our country is. I was born in New Zealand and have lived here most of my life - but still haven't seen many parts of it. The birds at 3:07 are "Kea" - these cheeky native parrots like to dismantle your cars windscreen wipers and window seals.
Damn it, those are some wonderful shots!! When I look at those dark cliffs with the white rushes the mood makes me think of the illustrations of Ted Nasmith for the Silmarillion!

Incredible ... as you said in the video the color changes in the timelapse were beautiful .... and the still images really give a sense of the place .. it's a wonderful, almost prehistoric, locations ..

Lovely photos. I missed Milford Sound on my bicycle tour through South Island in 2004. It was a very rainy summer; we even experienced some snow on the Cardrona Road. The waterfalls are fantastic and you did good work despite the rain. In hindsight and with the benefit of your lovely photos, I wish I had persevered and made it to Milford.
