Watch Ninja Scroll first imo if ppl want ya to, it's um got some definite spots to keep off the tube lol. Wholesome and awesome, Cowboy beebop (series) ..hmm, All the kids like one punch man that's a great one.. Boogie Pop phantom ..cult classic, watch that one off line if ya meet a gal into horror. But otherwise avoid lol, (amazing movie) I kinda want to reccomend macross plus, the movie .. but I have a personal obsession with jets and robots and space.. so triple whammy I'm biased.

gohan didnt teleport. he jumped. some info about the version ur watching. when it was produced the producers of the show added a bunch of filler which imo was interesting at best in some parts. now the og show did have more "blood and gore" scenes and gestures that would be extreme for todays standards. the latest version (dragon ball z kai) remastered and took all that out and give more of a canon story line w a tv friendly approach. imo kai also has the better voice acting. ocean dub was the first to dub in english but the franchise ended up in dallas where it's remained. in short i recommend kai IF you want the latest voice acting and animation and want to get to the point wout the filler. dbz is always great for the nostalgia. ocean dub has strange writing and isnt really worth watching unless you want to laugh at the strange writing.

Unpopular opinion but i still feel that Dragon Ball is still the Best one of them all. But Z is my favorite. I feel that Super is slowing down the story and the power ups like in Dragon Ball. And another unpopular opinion, i don't think GT sucks. It might not be as good as the others but it didn't suck. Those few episodes after the first 2 weren't that good but the rest was pretty good
