When I was growing up my mom worked and went to school at night. The neighbor kind of took on the role of grandma (my grandparents were close but not the same town). She taught me how to garden and once gave me some zinnia seeds that she had saved. I often wish I had kept that zinnia lineage going but at least I have the memories ❤. Love your videos as always and really special to see your mom!
Sawadee ka khun me, suk san wan keud na ka. Wish you good health and happiness. Crane, I’m sure your mom is so happy to have you and your sister (and Jason and her mom) celebrate her on her birthday. What a blessing! Thanks for sharing some of your moments together with us. It’s so fun to see her cook pad kra pao for your packed lunch, yummmy! And I’m so proud of you as well with your continued success as a TH-camr! Your flower arrangements are so beautiful as always. Thanks for all your efforts in creating authentic content. Take care always! ❤️
I grew up with my Grandma, an avid gardener, I watched and learned. I wish I would have paid more attention to everything she was so thrilled to show me. When I lost her, I took up gardening and it gives me a peace and safe place to be.
I remember my Grandpa in the garden. He always said to have a good harvest you should plant three times what you need. One for nature(the birds and bugs) one for your neighbors and one for yourself. He was the best gardener I ever knew.
Your bouquets are gorgeous! You support other flower farmers and florists by sharing your creativity on youtube! You are a very generous person sharing your talents with all of us.
Thank you Crane for all the wisdom you share!!! I opened my flower stand this year and this week I had orders for 16 bouquets 💐. You & Danielle inspire me!! 🎉😊😊😊
You are wise to make bouquets as hobby .. if you love what you do the money will come. ☺️ The same with our TH-cam channels our hobbies bring us closer to friends who share our passions. You make me and so many others smile by your love of what you do ! Thanks
As always; you put a smile on my face everytime I see another video from you! I have always loved the beauty of nature and have learned so much about what each plant requires to be happy and to thrive in my garden that I am so blessed to create now, as an adult! My children and now my grandchildren, are carrying on that love, and enjoy growing their own gardens. Thank you Crane, for blessing our lives with your cuteness and talent! You are so appreciated and loved! ❤❤❤
When I was very young from the age of 3 years to about 6 yrs my grandma would work in her very small flower garden, she had the most beautifully scented old fashioned roses! After that I seem to want to do other things. About the age of 30 I started flower gardening and landscaping I believe those early years in my life the love of flowers was instilled in me by grandma! So glad your family could visit! I really love all the music you choose for your videos!
Hi Crane, that was such a fun video. Thanks for taking us along on your mom's birthday, and to longwood gardens, and of course sharing your beautiful bouquets and garden. I enjoyed hearing all your stories with so many memories of gardening. I remember being in my grandmother's hydrangea garden with my sisters and cousins making flower chain necklaces to wear. That was how gardening started for me, I have planted those big blue hydrangeas in my own garden to remind me of that wonderful memory. Please say happy birthday to your mom, 🤩🎂🍰🍹🌸🌻🌺🌹🏵💐🎉🎈🎇
I also had early experiences with gardening with my grandmother on the farm where she kept a secret flower garden behind the house with seeds she saved every year. I remember all the perennials my mom planted by our house and I grew a veggie garden with my best friend when we rented a house at 18 years of age. Not many 18 year old's were into that. Your channel inspires me, I love the music and your methods of gardening. So nice to see your family in America and I hope you enjoy your visit! Cheers from Alberta, Canada!
Growing up on a farm my grandparents and parents were always growing vegetables, cooking and canning ❤❤❤Such great memories, and I love doing the same thing!!! Thank you for sharing your garden and family ❤🌞🌻🌸
I also grew up with a lot of gardeners and farmers in my family. My great uncle had a farm, my great grandmother and grandmother, my mom and dad, aunts and uncle were all avid gardeners. They canned and froze what they grew. I grow all sorts of fruits, vegetables, flowers, aquatic plants, and now I am really into orchids and medicinal herbs for teas. Your mom and sister are so cute by the way. Beautiful family. Your bouquets were all beautiful too but I have to say the one with amaranth was actually my surprise favorite. It was unique and different. Don’t be afraid to let your creativity loose and step outside your comfort zone. It’s what makes you special and will make you stand out from the crowd. ❤😊
Lovely bouquets and I hope it's not another 10 years before your mom and sister can visit on your mom's birthday ❤! Sorry to tell you I only got the basics in flower and vegetable gardening from my parents and grandma; dig a hole stick a seed or a plant you picked up from big box store in, water, and maybe a dose of Miracle Grow. I would say "weeding", but I always tried to get out of that dreaded chore (I did, and am paying for it now) 😂. You know, we did have some flowers and produce, so basic is better than nothing! I remember noticing plants I liked, though, especially flowers.
I definitely learned gardening from my parents. We had a small farm on 3 acres and 1/3 of it was a large vegetable garden and perennial flowerbeds. As a child I didn’t like gardening so much because I had to help with weeding instead of playing with friends. 🤪 Now have 1 acre and about 1/3 is flowerbeds & a cutting garden. I would share pictures of my flowers with my parents but they have both pasted away since I added the cutting garden and started selling my flowers. I think they are proud of what they taught me. ❤
❤❤❤ Crane, I always love your entertaining videos. Thanks!!! I inherited green thumbs from my mother and my grandmother. They always had beautiful roses and herbaceous borders. I particularly remember learning from them how to divide perennials and how to properly set out plants. My favorite season has always been autumn, and I love all the autumn colors, so I’m eagerly awaiting your garden videos this fall to enjoy seeing your fall flowers. Your bouquets are always gorgeous, and your videos bring happy smiles always. I’m glad that you consider your flower stand as a fun hobby, so that you don’t lose your joy in continuing it. I’m sure that your customers are very, very pleased with your Mason jar bouquets. Best wishes!!! John 🌺🌺🌺❤️
I just love your bouquets you are so talented I'm the one with dirty guards at the New Kensington PA memorial Park so people come and see all the flowers I have out there I have 30 gardens I just love being out there doing it I've been doing it 20 years how to make bouquets once in awhile but not like you do so I don't sell them but they're so pretty yours is really beautiful I love the way you make them calculator my phone keeps going off sorry about that
I've started trying some more wild mason jars as well! It's so hard to allow yourself to stay creative instead of sticking to what you're used to designing. This week I paired some cosmos greens with double quick sunflowers, and white phlox, and it actually looked nice! Love your channel for inspiration ❤
Hi Crane! Love your channel and your beautiful bouquets ♥️ 💐 glad to see your mom and sister also enjoying your garden 🪴 btw what's the name of that song in your video?
