Can I just tell you that I’m in the veeeeeeery begging stages of converting an SUV into a camper and all day I’ve been watching videos that are convincing me that I’m way over my head and now that I’ve stumbled upon you, you’ve restored my faith and rekindled my fire. You’ve reminded me that I don’t need to know everything and if there’s a will, there’s a way! I appreciate you!
Agreed! I am working on the floor on my fourth build, but I _still_ see things that make me think, "I'm doing this all wrong and need to start over" :( I really like how Megan shares her (internal) process, because I want to try new things in my build, but also feel insecure about whether I'm doing things ok. It's inspiring to see other women who don't necessarily have a background in this get out there and try and learn!
@@MarcillaSmith Fourth build!! That's amazing. I love pushing myself to learn new things then later I end up facing the reality of having no idea what I'm doing 😂 It's always rewarding though. I loved watching Emma Builds Birbie during my build for the same reason!
There are definitely phases where you can get a bit down about the build. Finicky thing aren't coming out, lack of space to build, lack of propper tools, lack of knowing exactly how to do it all, etc...
There’s a link in the description for the guide I wrote with tons of information on dimensions, plumbing, solar, photos etc. 🫶🏼 Will keep the videos coming!

Yep, yep, yep! It can get discouraging, but its also the part where the learning happens which is what its all about :)
Cool floor, fun to see it come together!
Progress felt so good compared to an empty vehicle 😄
More please… trying to build mine out, any suggestions on where to get step by step. I just bought a suburban

Why didn't you just leave the 2nd row seats in and folded down? It would have saved all that making a frame time and they lay flat.
My seats didn’t lay down very flat and I wanted to use the space for more storage 😊
