I think with all the duplicate tanks ect in game. Lets take example of the Russian T34, Sherman, M48 Patton, Centurion, T54/55 and Leopard 2 just to name a few. Once Ive spaded one say Sherman tank in the American tech tree the next one I do in another a certian percentage of modules to grind should be less. That way we could have other nations put into the game that have those tanks like Poland(Sub tree Ukraine), North and South Korea, (Like China and Chinese Republic) Swiss tech tree and more. Then you could sought of kill 2 birds with one stone. Also just to add ive noticed in game Gaiijin has kept some vechles in the market place say for example There is a Merkava tank in the American Tech tree shouldn't it be moved to the Isreali one. Even Premuim tanks like the Australian M1A1 Abrams version I wish it was in the British tech tree as we are still part of the commenwealth.
Ya. Even with a premium vehicle and account it still takes a long time. I was playing the f1c200 with premium account and got a game with 3 air to air kills on players, and won the match. An only got 10000 rp. But I also had a game with one air to air kill, and bombed 2 bases on a 25 minute match and got 50000 rp. I don’t understand the logic

for me, they are: 1. Crafting events but in the same form as the Mad Thunder event. 2. Fill out more naval battles with bots to help with shorter waiting times(though that would mean easier grinding in naval, which I am sure the snail would not be too happy with) 3. removing the 3 spawn limit in ground arcade 4. matches not ending in 1.0-2.7 BR air arcade games when all the soft targets have been destroyed(matches can last 3 minutes if any team has a bomber capable of wiping the soft targets in a single run) 5. better map rotation 6. iconic battles and a dynamic campaign
TWO easy changes we need - Test drives should have ALL modules unlocked for a vehicle even if you do not own it (ITS A TEST GAIJIN!). All shell types for aircraft and ground vehicles should have a listed shell velocity in the description.
That already exists there a condition part when you click the test drive into the menu there is reference which is all modifications unlocked and current which would be how your vehicle is.
@@stefanenchev7255 not entirely true. It doesn't give you ALL the modifications if you choose the reference option. For example type 16 has M735 round and if you haven't purchased the vehicle like in my case, you only have the option to test it with heat and hesh. You should be able to outfit the vehicle as if it was spaded during a test drive

I also have think about clone grind reduction when you already spaded same/similar vehicle across all nations, it will motivate the snail to introduce more unique vehicles and less clones (at least clone spading will be less tedious)
Separating ground and aircraft engine sounds would be nice, especially since you usually will want to set engine volume all the way up while playing ground but that leads to planes being deafening specifically while playing ground where you will usually want to be specifically listening for peer to peer contact
I'd love the ability to research hidden vehicles after completing a tree. Something else I've wanted to see forever is an option for working lights on vehicles but i cant imagine how much work it would be to make that available for every vehicle with lights, but i can dream haha
How about spreading targets out all over the map for attackers instead of underneath the missile fest. Sub sonic attackers don’t get air spawns and by the time you get down range all the supersonic planes killed the bases then died so now you just become fodder awaiting bases to respawn or trying to hit little bunkers.
@@wsmith3849 what they need to do is give people 3 spawns or 2 spawns for air rb, move ground targets closer and add more to of them. We need to either make one large base target that’s closer to the middle of the battle field and have a massive size and health. Or make 10 base spread out and closer to the middle and have them respawn quicker. And give bonuses to aircraft that do their role. Bomber get bonuses for bombing bases and heavy ground targets like bunkers or tanks. Attackers/strike aircraft get bonuses for hitting ground targets and a little bonus for bases, fighters get bonuses for escorting bombers and killing aircraft and interceptors get bonuses for killing bombers and fighters. Making fighters do the job of killing aircraft, bombers the job of bombing and so forth. And combined with the ability to respawn, making people able to accumulate points instead of dying and having to find a new game
the problem with this is they dont punish the players that run all game, thats why they made rb games shorter in the first place, what id like the see is smaller teams on bigger maps with a spotting system that works so you know where people are when theyre within like 8km lets say and also the last 3 or 4 players on a team are permanently spotted aswell as the rest of the winning team so its still winnable for the losing team
One super simple thing I'd love to see: A different background color for event vehicles. Gold for premiums, green for squadron, light blue for TT, maybe purple or something for event vehicles...slightly complicated by there being some premium event vehicles out there, but that could just be gold with a purple band or something.
Remove parts completely from research, add a large and small map match making rotation e.g large maps only small maps only etc (for tanks in the 10.0 and high bracket). Ability to destroy heli pads with planes or at least the closest one so they have to spawn at the rear helipad and delay them coming to the battlefield. Increase airfield distance in jet era ground rb or add a second airfield that is atleast 20km away from bf so pantsir doesn't insta lock on you from air spawn. Add a game mode where parts of the maps and tactical points unlock and the map opens up like rush in battlefield. Only allow spawn camping when all flags have been captured, have a red zone 30% of the map e.g enemy spawn with a 10 second desertion timer if you stray into it. When all objectives are captured you can push forward. If a flag is de-capped you have 30 seconds to get back to normal area and out of spawn locations. Too many times people avoid the flags and go for a spawn camp, often behind the spawn. For naval make the AA a timed ability where the gunners actively shoot (otherwise u manually control). Prevent the ai from engaging targets at 4km and being pin point accurate so planes are viable in naval. Reduce spawn prices of air in naval, especially in higher br where every ship has 40 guns. Be able to choose what grid square to spawn so you dont crash into team mates on spawn. Have a lot more weather effects so its harder to spot ships so lighter craft can get up close to other ships, e.g storms high waves etc heavy rain and fog. At present most of the time the water is like glass and hardly any waves
I would love for full real controls the ability to Maddog launch fox 3s without visual on radar to allow the missile to go pitbul on launch and better Visual cues on energy bleeding when in a dogfight so I can see when the enemy is pulling hard on the nose. Last thing I'd like the hmd to show an x on it when your hmd is out of its radius to indicate what the limit is on your angle of fire
What about a mechanic, that eases the stock grind. If you have researched and bought a vehicle, there should be a box you can tick and instead of a new vehicle, you can now research modifications of said vehicle. Like parts, FPE, better rounds. I am glad to hear feedback on this proposal : )
I'd just want the option to trade in orders/wagers for either boosters or backups or SL's. Either that or to be able to change nation specific backups into universal backups.
IF you was remembering that you made a video about the level 100 then prestige i think this could be a better way to get hidden vehicles you reach level 100 prestige you can chose a vehicle to reseach, or for every 2 prestige you could get a hidden vehicles
One idea that I have in mind is honestly pretty simple: being able to assign camouflages to given maps. As of now you can either select one camo for all or use "automatic" but I think it would be much better if we could just link the camos to the maps.
I want role based scouring...spaa should get more for killing aircraft and less for killing ground units...stuff like that - fighter aircraft not being able to see bases so bombers/ strike aircraft can do what they're designed to do...

Generally, hunting tanks in most SPAAs is harder than using a regular tank, so the reward shouls not go lower, on the other hand I do believe that rewards such as “Rank does not matter”, “Skill matters” and “God mode” should be available to SPAAs that shoot down aircraft with the respective BR differences. The same should be applied to aircraft that destroy higher ranking SPAAs.
i would very much like to have the ability to turn bush decorations off. Before anyone starts screaming and crying skill issue or they can be shot off, first their hit box are so ridiculously pixel perfect its stupid. second while you could earn them for free it requires quite a bit of work. third i have fired he shells at bush covered tanks to see the bushes still there. If this mechanic is not pay to win why isnt this part of the decorations you can turn off. By all means if you like having bushes on your tank cause it looks tacticool or whatever go for it, same goes for the body pillows cause you happen to be a weeb. There is however a button to turn off the body pillows and other random decorations. Why did realistic stuff like bushes jerrycans etc somehow get a free pass.
I like the sound preset idea.....I always have to switch when going from ground to air. In air I like loud engines and music which is literally opposite from my ground audio
For changing shell type you don't need extra key bind, just holding button with selected shell type for 2 seconds will trigger unloading a loading new round. AND same vehicle in different TT should have permanent 50% research discount... Not 5% lol
I want "pet" vehicles, ai which will follow you, vehicles with radar or ammo carriers, would be nice for SAMs and some artillery pieces. Also I would like to have a dungeon-like pve mode for Coastal fleet, where you should capture some harbour, with bosses in a form of some big ships and/or heavy coastal defence.
Id love to have either a mode where planes are banned or severely restricted. I loathe it when "ground" rb turns into air rb because people spam planes
In my opinion WT could use more help for the grind, something about tanks that have served on many counties and camos, for example Greek Leo2A4 camo for all 2A4s and maybe something like a WoT intuition for loading shells
I’d like to see large caliber HE shells fired from spg’s mostly be more destructive against world items like buildings or other clutter. Personally think it’d be cool to level and destroy a outcrop of buildings reducing the quality of cover it naturally provides
I want to be able to share my lineup with my friends. Su27 in one spot, Mig29SMT in another slot, grab my IRL friend, squad-up, and we each pick one to fly. People don’t have 2500 US Dollars or 500 hours to drop grinding Jets. And no, flying one premium plane to use to grind out EVERY other jet isn’t good enough. I want more people able to just jump right into TT air. You don’t need to experience props to have fun, you just need a run through on controls and that can be done in 3 minutes.
One thing I want to see l, which would be a big benefit and some nice tlc for Italy, is finally unrestricted APFSDS rounds for the Oto Matic. Now that we have the 2S38 and loads more Auto cannons in the game, why keep a restriction on the Oto Matic anymore?
I've been playing coastal RB to get the long spear challenge done and it's painful as someone who avoids arcade mode. First, the only reason I have rank 3 is from unlocking a PT boat prior to the tree separation. I couldn't imagine having to unlock rank 3 on top of doing the challenge; if rng only favors you with damage and assists, then earning enough rp to unlock a vehicle is quite time consuming. I averaged a rank 3 torpedo kill about once every 5+ games. In that time, I have only gained enough research to finish unlocking a single rank 2 boat and barely progress into another rank 3. Second, torpedo reloads in RB are awful. The reload cycle is really long, and sometimes the game wouldn't even fill a full torpedo rack upon finishing a cycle. To top it all off, the cycle completely resets after leaving the point for whatever reason. In a mode in which torpedo boats are made of glass, being forced to stay in a rather small and very exposed area for so long is suicide. I actually like naval, and it can be quite fun at times; but it's trapped in an awful feedback loop. Nobody plays it because it sucks, and it sucks because nobody plays it. I haven't detected much improvement in the battles themselves despite all the new vessels they've added, and it's quite sad. Finally, here's some things I think naval could use (at least RB): - An in-game keybind for separating and combining primary and secondary guns. (A thought I had while readjusting controls, and a suggestion that is unsurprisingly not new on the internet) - A fire/ceasefire keybind for ai gunners. (or at least separate keybinds for the targeting modes) - An option to disable automatic range adjustment. (for the times my guns have randomly shifted well above or below my selected target and manual adjustment has done absolutely nothing to help) - Improved manual adjustment. (The range adjustment doesn't feel linear and small fixes either don't move the guns or really overshoot) - An option to stop the smoke screen before its timer runs out. There's more, but these ideas have stood out to me most recently in game.
I would like to see a change to night battles, at least when it comes to customs. I want to disable the damn flares, please gaijin, the flares make night battles just as bright as normal ones
Grinding ground should be as fast as grinding air. If you play a tree for, let's say, two weeks straight, 3 to 5 hours a day you should at least be close to 10.0
I’d like to see bigger SL discount/ more RP bonuses for playing more vehicles in Ground RB. Would be a start in trying to combat snowballing, even if I think the issue is largely caused by people being too stupid to read a map.
Not a huge change but at least a significant rework to RP and SL boosters. I hate getting a 500% RP booster and completely wasting it on a match with 3 - 4 deaths, no kills, no assists, no caps and zero RP. It feels incredibly demoralising and frustrating. I'll never pretend I'm a great player, sometimes I'm pretty terrible, we all have bad days. But maybe my next match I got super lucky and snagged 5 or 6 kills and maybe an extra assist to boot. But that 500% booster is already dead and buried. There are 2 incredibly simple (in my mind at least) solutions to this problem. 1) Allow players to choose at the end of a match if they want to activate a booster. If I had a great match and got lucky I want that match to pay off. Whether it was skill or just blind luck. 2) Make all boosters last longer. Now like I said I'm not a great player, it's very much a skill issue a lot of the time. But on average I will have at least 1 or 2 good games (for arguments sake lets say) every 10 games. Sure the 15% booster lasts quite a while (I don't know how long but it seems like 24hrs? someone can check for me if they want) and it helps don't get me wrong. But there's only so much a 15% boost can do. Now if a 50% boost lasted 24hrs? To expand on this some other ideas could be: stackable boosters, a mechanic for making lower tier boosters much more plentiful, replacing the boosters with redeemable RP for a selected vehicle (use the item and select the vehicle to get 15% worth of the RP for it).

The grind is insane if you play a bunch of nations....I play all nations and its taken literally half a decade to reach top tier in just some of them and rank 6-7 in others. Not at top tier yet in ANY ground tree but getting close in a few and I play daily and I am 65% ranking above av player. This needs to be fixed but everytime they just tease fixing it like its some huge complicated science experiment. Skill bonus added is minimal but ads up but the new nation bonus is much more useful....but where is it???
and that's why i always make my own skins for my tanks and aircraft, but i'm actually shocked the no one checked to make sure that that skin wasn't already in the game,
reloading a round in a tank gun is in most cases not a problem at all when thinking of brass cased ammunition types, like the 105mm L7 Gun any pretty much any gun except the most modern 120mm smoothbore and modern russian 125mm guns. even then, unloading a round is not that big a deal. Usually the loader opens the breech and pulls the round from the chamber, switching it for a different round. I dont see no reason not being able to do that, (except the round is damaged or extremely old, wich is of no difference ingame)
Autocannons should have more smoke and sparks when shooting something I'm fed up using ifv shooting tank then they just turn and shoot me even tho I lighting up there optics
i really do not think that copy paste is that bad. it's fine if you don't want to play essentially the same vehicle again but many countries need the extra vehicle for better lineups.
I don't know if it's still a thing, but the fact that if your barrel breaks you cannot repair it to a state where you can fire with the free parts is freaking insane considering how cursed playing some stock vehicles already is. Some shitty detail like that just feels completely out of spite.
Would be sick if. At the same time I'm just tired at the lack of care for arcade. Helis are useless with interceptors spawning 300m behind you, and sometimes you don't even have a gun. Half the maps allow sniping from spawn Air arcade is full of lv100s spawn camping
Ground EC and bigger maps, side objectives like air RB has and a better way to obtain past vehicles. Vehicles to fill in BR gaps &or events based on concepts, blueprints, ect. as long as it's not completely fictional. Oh yeah better naval. Honestly I don't think a lot of people would even mind the grind if parts of the game were made more enjoyable. Looking at top tier specifically.
i think volume preset is a good idea. i want when I'm playing planes for it to be quieter and louder when I'm playing tanks I don't think there is a need for unloading shells there just almost isn't a situation where taking time to unload the shell and reload a new shell is useful and just shoot the current shell at a weak spot then load the right shell I never liked the crafting event and I belive the way it is right now is better research hidden vehicles is a great idea I just missed out on being able to get some of them and letting a player research them after the techtree is done isn't a bad idea but I would rather spend the funny green points because I got around 42 million and have nothing to spend them on I don't play naval so I cant really say anything on that researching a similar vehicle in one techtree gives you a discount is a great idea I would like to see that maybe 50% off like if it was a foldered vehicle
More game modes would be awesome, Ground only. no caps, AA in Air battles, just add options please. Also max number of players per spawn point would be nice. Fix Air spawns in Ground Arcade so that the spawn distances are fixed and not random. Make barrels break again, reword USSR ammo to not ignore all angles, rework solid shot to do damage post pen. AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIX THE GRIND. I have been playing since 2018 and have 0 top tier nations in any mode. Close in Air in USA, and the big 3 in ground, but after 7 years and almost 10k hours I should have everything. I will add that i have never played a single day without premium time in 7 years as well. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back removed vehicles and older event vehicles so us newer players can get them.
every vehicle above rank V should have its RP costs literally cut in HALF. It simply costs Way too much to research them and takes Way too much time. Its beyond absurd

I still have a gripe with the ho-ri TD for the Japanese because it's blatantly fake.. (no returning of the tiger II 105 and panther II, cry about it) Other things i'd like to see added are the discounts on repeat vehicles, expansion of the nation bonuses, more foldering of similar vehicles and some much needed br decompression
parts and FPE should come stock! give the tier I apfsds for free, at least for higher tiers. Modern vehicles shouldn't need to research old ass shells that had been in use since the last tier
"Being able to unload the main gun." Why would you want to wait twice as long to load a different round? It take longer to unload a cannon than it does to load it, and then you have load it again. That is why it is not done IRL. Its not only "unrealistic" its also not a useful game mechanic.
2000 hours in and ive gotten 11.7 germany 8.0 in america isreal italy france and russia, everything else is around 2.7-4.7 thats just tanks, my german planes are at 6.7, the grind is long
how about just make it take 2-3x longer to unload a shell vs normal loading... a fair trade id say, there are times id take the penalty just to not give away my position, or waste my last shell.
Idk what you guys think of this but I kinda like the idea of event vehicles being buyable for convertible RP. For example I want the IS7 really bad but because i didnt play wt during the event I have to spend as much as my car just to get it if its even available. But ive been playing wt for a while now and I have about 25 million convertible rp. Lets say I want an is7 now I can get it for like 30m convertible rp or something. And ik the gaijin market also kind of makes this seem weird but maybe they could do where the convertible rp cost changes based on rarity of the vehicle so maybe the is7 is 35 million bc its rare and the QN506 is 5 bc its less rare or something and they could easily make the price change with how many vehicles come and go on the gaijin market. And it would kind of give people a choice too. Do i wanna buy my way through a tree and use my convertible rp? Do i wanna spend money to buy the vehicle right away on the gaijin market? Or do i wanna save my convertible rp to get the vehicle for free but just have to wait longer and play some more. It also kind of gives F2P players a way to get some event vehicles they missed. Please give me feedback on this if you guys think of anymore flaws things to add or if this idea is just plain out bad.
I'd like to see the whole rebalanced if the shells Starting with HEAT Than hesh, sabot and etc. When the shell which suppose to blew up a tank does hit. That's kinda funni , or when heat shell does 0 damage. Oh and fuck volumetric shells, horrible mechanic on the same lvl as hull break
While I can understand the idea of FOMO (not that I agree with it), it just doesn’t work when the vehicle was available once 5 years ago and has never been available since. It’s just sitting there wasting away. If I wanted to play a specific vehicle and downloaded war thunder to play that vehicle, only to find out that it’s impossible to obtain I might not even play the game at all.
to my mind nothing of this will make game better. All i need is fair and consistant damage, penetration, weakspots, normal ATGMS and more surviveability to heavy tanks against CAS.
Can we get the option to turn off aircraft separately now? I don't like planes, I wish to fight tanks. If I can't have a solo tank mode then I want the planes to shut the fuck up at least.
no crafting should never come back ever no matter the form they were terrible and took way more time. what they should do is like Star trek online does 5 or 6 events over the year eatch part gives you a minor reward but adds progress to the end reward and end gives you a box that lets you pick one the older event things.
I don’t see Gaijin making any big efforts to improving our experience any time soon. I mean, why would they? Warthunder has no real competition people can flee to and happy players won’t frustratedly buy their ludicrously overpriced premiums in the quest for some amount of dopamine. It would simply be bad business, which is the only thing that matters to them. Want to see some real change? Don’t give them a cent.
Please no more crafting events, they were awful. Just reduce the grind. That's it. That's all we need. The game has like 1000 vehicles to research and spade, it's insane. I'm not saying they need to remove the grind entirely, but dropping the RP requirements for modifications by 30-40% accross the board would be a good start.

CRAM capable vehicles. If the ranges of ground ordonance keeps increasing and the SAMs can't keep up, at least give us vehicles that can reliable shoot missiles and bombs out of the sky.
I would like to see the graphics improve of each vehicle. e.g. Chains swaying to and fro or the camo net swinging in the wind. Also a sound when the vehicle drives the metal on metal scratching. I mean things can not be that tightened right?
I do not have problem with amount of XP you need to unlock the vehicle. But I think the rank should not be locked untill you grind 4+ vehicles. 3vehicles of same rank should be enaugh in GF. In Air Forces the lock is useless, it works only for arcade. Ships should not have any lock at all. The bigest problem in my opinion is the amount of XP you need to spade the vehicle. You are basicaly forced to play with scrap for the first 10-15 battles. I undersgand gaijin want to sell the modules,but the prize is ridiculous 300-500 GL for module you do not even need?
After so many vehicles being added, it is once again time to reduce the grind and also add in some other mechanics to enhance the gameplay experience

Should be able to test drive any vehicle. So you can choose what you want to go for and know if you like it before grinding for it

With a premium plane and premium account grinding Air trees are easily doable but the Ground tree grind is criminal insanity.
I dont know if I just enjoy playing tanks more, but I enjoy the ground tree grind more than the plane grind.

I also have think about clone grind reduction when you already spaded same/similar vehicle across all nations, it will motivate the snail to introduce more unique vehicles and less clones (at least clone spading will be less tedious)
Separating ground and aircraft engine sounds would be nice, especially since you usually will want to set engine volume all the way up while playing ground but that leads to planes being deafening specifically while playing ground where you will usually want to be specifically listening for peer to peer contact

I'd love the ability to research hidden vehicles after completing a tree. Something else I've wanted to see forever is an option for working lights on vehicles but i cant imagine how much work it would be to make that available for every vehicle with lights, but i can dream haha
Longer form air gameplay. Maybe adding Air RB EC. Maybe reworking the PVE modes. Just something outside of Sim that lasts more than 10 minutes.

How about spreading targets out all over the map for attackers instead of underneath the missile fest. Sub sonic attackers don’t get air spawns and by the time you get down range all the supersonic planes killed the bases then died so now you just become fodder awaiting bases to respawn or trying to hit little bunkers.
@@wsmith3849 what they need to do is give people 3 spawns or 2 spawns for air rb, move ground targets closer and add more to of them. We need to either make one large base target that’s closer to the middle of the battle field and have a massive size and health. Or make 10 base spread out and closer to the middle and have them respawn quicker. And give bonuses to aircraft that do their role. Bomber get bonuses for bombing bases and heavy ground targets like bunkers or tanks. Attackers/strike aircraft get bonuses for hitting ground targets and a little bonus for bases, fighters get bonuses for escorting bombers and killing aircraft and interceptors get bonuses for killing bombers and fighters. Making fighters do the job of killing aircraft, bombers the job of bombing and so forth. And combined with the ability to respawn, making people able to accumulate points instead of dying and having to find a new game
the problem with this is they dont punish the players that run all game, thats why they made rb games shorter in the first place, what id like the see is smaller teams on bigger maps with a spotting system that works so you know where people are when theyre within like 8km lets say and also the last 3 or 4 players on a team are permanently spotted aswell as the rest of the winning team so its still winnable for the losing team
One super simple thing I'd love to see: A different background color for event vehicles. Gold for premiums, green for squadron, light blue for TT, maybe purple or something for event vehicles...slightly complicated by there being some premium event vehicles out there, but that could just be gold with a purple band or something.
Remove parts completely from research, add a large and small map match making rotation e.g large maps only small maps only etc (for tanks in the 10.0 and high bracket). Ability to destroy heli pads with planes or at least the closest one so they have to spawn at the rear helipad and delay them coming to the battlefield. Increase airfield distance in jet era ground rb or add a second airfield that is atleast 20km away from bf so pantsir doesn't insta lock on you from air spawn. Add a game mode where parts of the maps and tactical points unlock and the map opens up like rush in battlefield. Only allow spawn camping when all flags have been captured, have a red zone 30% of the map e.g enemy spawn with a 10 second desertion timer if you stray into it. When all objectives are captured you can push forward. If a flag is de-capped you have 30 seconds to get back to normal area and out of spawn locations. Too many times people avoid the flags and go for a spawn camp, often behind the spawn. For naval make the AA a timed ability where the gunners actively shoot (otherwise u manually control). Prevent the ai from engaging targets at 4km and being pin point accurate so planes are viable in naval. Reduce spawn prices of air in naval, especially in higher br where every ship has 40 guns. Be able to choose what grid square to spawn so you dont crash into team mates on spawn. Have a lot more weather effects so its harder to spot ships so lighter craft can get up close to other ships, e.g storms high waves etc heavy rain and fog. At present most of the time the water is like glass and hardly any waves

I would love for full real controls the ability to Maddog launch fox 3s without visual on radar to allow the missile to go pitbul on launch and better Visual cues on energy bleeding when in a dogfight so I can see when the enemy is pulling hard on the nose. Last thing I'd like the hmd to show an x on it when your hmd is out of its radius to indicate what the limit is on your angle of fire

If you have researched and bought a vehicle, there should be a box you can tick and instead of a new vehicle, you can now research modifications of said vehicle. Like parts, FPE, better rounds.

IF you was remembering that you made a video about the level 100 then prestige i think this could be a better way to get hidden vehicles you reach level 100 prestige you can chose a vehicle to reseach, or for every 2 prestige you could get a hidden vehicles
One idea that I have in mind is honestly pretty simple: being able to assign camouflages to given maps. As of now you can either select one camo for all or use "automatic" but I think it would be much better if we could just link the camos to the maps.
Automatic selects best for the map. If you dont like it then stop being lazy and select it yourself as you spawn the vehicle.
I want role based scouring...spaa should get more for killing aircraft and less for killing ground units...stuff like that - fighter aircraft not being able to see bases so bombers/ strike aircraft can do what they're designed to do...

Generally, hunting tanks in most SPAAs is harder than using a regular tank, so the reward shouls not go lower, on the other hand I do believe that rewards such as “Rank does not matter”, “Skill matters” and “God mode” should be available to SPAAs that shoot down aircraft with the respective BR differences. The same should be applied to aircraft that destroy higher ranking SPAAs.
i would very much like to have the ability to turn bush decorations off. Before anyone starts screaming and crying skill issue or they can be shot off, first their hit box are so ridiculously pixel perfect its stupid. second while you could earn them for free it requires quite a bit of work. third i have fired he shells at bush covered tanks to see the bushes still there. If this mechanic is not pay to win why isnt this part of the decorations you can turn off. By all means if you like having bushes on your tank cause it looks tacticool or whatever go for it, same goes for the body pillows cause you happen to be a weeb. There is however a button to turn off the body pillows and other random decorations. Why did realistic stuff like bushes jerrycans etc somehow get a free pass.

For changing shell type you don't need extra key bind, just holding button with selected shell type for 2 seconds will trigger unloading a loading new round.
AND same vehicle in different TT should have permanent 50% research discount... Not 5% lol
I want "pet" vehicles, ai which will follow you, vehicles with radar or ammo carriers, would be nice for SAMs and some artillery pieces.
Also I would like to have a dungeon-like pve mode for Coastal fleet, where you should capture some harbour, with bosses in a form of some big ships and/or heavy coastal defence.

What you’re asking for with shell selection is the standard controls for console. You can bind a shell type to a key
But it would remove the automatic loading
I want to be able to share my lineup with my friends. Su27 in one spot, Mig29SMT in another slot, grab my IRL friend, squad-up, and we each pick one to fly.
People don’t have 2500 US Dollars or 500 hours to drop grinding Jets. And no, flying one premium plane to use to grind out EVERY other jet isn’t good enough. I want more people able to just jump right into TT air. You don’t need to experience props to have fun, you just need a run through on controls and that can be done in 3 minutes.
One thing I want to see l, which would be a big benefit and some nice tlc for Italy, is finally unrestricted APFSDS rounds for the Oto Matic. Now that we have the 2S38 and loads more Auto cannons in the game, why keep a restriction on the Oto Matic anymore?

Parts and fpe modifications still are not reduced in RP for ships
I've been playing coastal RB to get the long spear challenge done and it's painful as someone who avoids arcade mode.
First, the only reason I have rank 3 is from unlocking a PT boat prior to the tree separation. I couldn't imagine having to unlock rank 3 on top of doing the challenge; if rng only favors you with damage and assists, then earning enough rp to unlock a vehicle is quite time consuming. I averaged a rank 3 torpedo kill about once every 5+ games. In that time, I have only gained enough research to finish unlocking a single rank 2 boat and barely progress into another rank 3.
Second, torpedo reloads in RB are awful. The reload cycle is really long, and sometimes the game wouldn't even fill a full torpedo rack upon finishing a cycle. To top it all off, the cycle completely resets after leaving the point for whatever reason. In a mode in which torpedo boats are made of glass, being forced to stay in a rather small and very exposed area for so long is suicide.
I actually like naval, and it can be quite fun at times; but it's trapped in an awful feedback loop. Nobody plays it because it sucks, and it sucks because nobody plays it. I haven't detected much improvement in the battles themselves despite all the new vessels they've added, and it's quite sad.
Finally, here's some things I think naval could use (at least RB):
- An in-game keybind for separating and combining primary and secondary guns. (A thought I had while readjusting controls, and a suggestion that is unsurprisingly not new on the internet)
- A fire/ceasefire keybind for ai gunners. (or at least separate keybinds for the targeting modes)
- An option to disable automatic range adjustment. (for the times my guns have randomly shifted well above or below my selected target and manual adjustment has done absolutely nothing to help)
- Improved manual adjustment. (The range adjustment doesn't feel linear and small fixes either don't move the guns or really overshoot)
- An option to stop the smoke screen before its timer runs out.
There's more, but these ideas have stood out to me most recently in game.
I would like to see a change to night battles, at least when it comes to customs. I want to disable the damn flares, please gaijin, the flares make night battles just as bright as normal ones
I want to see them fix the ground br brackets. Having 9.3 tanks facing off against near top tier mbts is insane.
Grinding ground should be as fast as grinding air. If you play a tree for, let's say, two weeks straight, 3 to 5 hours a day you should at least be close to 10.0
I’d like to see bigger SL discount/ more RP bonuses for playing more vehicles in Ground RB. Would be a start in trying to combat snowballing, even if I think the issue is largely caused by people being too stupid to read a map.
Not a huge change but at least a significant rework to RP and SL boosters. I hate getting a 500% RP booster and completely wasting it on a match with 3 - 4 deaths, no kills, no assists, no caps and zero RP. It feels incredibly demoralising and frustrating. I'll never pretend I'm a great player, sometimes I'm pretty terrible, we all have bad days. But maybe my next match I got super lucky and snagged 5 or 6 kills and maybe an extra assist to boot. But that 500% booster is already dead and buried.
There are 2 incredibly simple (in my mind at least) solutions to this problem.
1) Allow players to choose at the end of a match if they want to activate a booster.
If I had a great match and got lucky I want that match to pay off. Whether it was skill or just blind luck.
2) Make all boosters last longer.
Now like I said I'm not a great player, it's very much a skill issue a lot of the time. But on average I will have at least 1 or 2 good games (for arguments sake lets say) every 10 games. Sure the 15% booster lasts quite a while (I don't know how long but it seems like 24hrs? someone can check for me if they want) and it helps don't get me wrong. But there's only so much a 15% boost can do. Now if a 50% boost lasted 24hrs?
To expand on this some other ideas could be: stackable boosters, a mechanic for making lower tier boosters much more plentiful, replacing the boosters with redeemable RP for a selected vehicle (use the item and select the vehicle to get 15% worth of the RP for it).

The grind is insane if you play a bunch of nations....I play all nations and its taken literally half a decade to reach top tier in just some of them and rank 6-7 in others. Not at top tier yet in ANY ground tree but getting close in a few and I play daily and I am 65% ranking above av player. This needs to be fixed but everytime they just tease fixing it like its some huge complicated science experiment. Skill bonus added is minimal but ads up but the new nation bonus is much more useful....but where is it???
and that's why i always make my own skins for my tanks and aircraft, but i'm actually shocked the no one checked to make sure that that skin wasn't already in the game,

reloading a round in a tank gun is in most cases not a problem at all when thinking of brass cased ammunition types, like the 105mm L7 Gun any pretty much any gun except the most modern 120mm smoothbore and modern russian 125mm guns.
even then, unloading a round is not that big a deal.
Usually the loader opens the breech and pulls the round from the chamber, switching it for a different round.
I dont see no reason not being able to do that, (except the round is damaged or extremely old, wich is of no difference ingame)
Autocannons should have more smoke and sparks when shooting something I'm fed up using ifv shooting tank then they just turn and shoot me even tho I lighting up there optics

i really do not think that copy paste is that bad. it's fine if you don't want to play essentially the same vehicle again but many countries need the extra vehicle for better lineups.

I don't know if it's still a thing, but the fact that if your barrel breaks you cannot repair it to a state where you can fire with the free parts is freaking insane considering how cursed playing some stock vehicles already is.

I don't think there is a need for unloading shells there just almost isn't a situation where taking time to unload the shell and reload a new shell is useful and just shoot the current shell at a weak spot then load the right shell
I never liked the crafting event and I belive the way it is right now is better
research hidden vehicles is a great idea I just missed out on being able to get some of them and letting a player research them after the techtree is done isn't a bad idea but I would rather spend the funny green points because I got around 42 million and have nothing to spend them on

More game modes would be awesome, Ground only. no caps, AA in Air battles, just add options please. Also max number of players per spawn point would be nice. Fix Air spawns in Ground Arcade so that the spawn distances are fixed and not random. Make barrels break again, reword USSR ammo to not ignore all angles, rework solid shot to do damage post pen. AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIX THE GRIND. I have been playing since 2018 and have 0 top tier nations in any mode. Close in Air in USA, and the big 3 in ground, but after 7 years and almost 10k hours I should have everything. I will add that i have never played a single day without premium time in 7 years as well. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back removed vehicles and older event vehicles so us newer players can get them.
every vehicle above rank V should have its RP costs literally cut in HALF. It simply costs Way too much to research them and takes Way too much time. Its beyond absurd
The removed vehicle stuff would be nice, but preferably just the ones that got replaced for intrest reasons and not the ones that got (semi-)removed because they're fake.
I still have a gripe with the ho-ri TD for the Japanese because it's blatantly fake.. (no returning of the tiger II 105 and panther II, cry about it)
Other things i'd like to see added are the discounts on repeat vehicles, expansion of the nation bonuses, more foldering of similar vehicles and some much needed br decompression

Why would you want to wait twice as long to load a different round? It take longer to unload a cannon than it does to load it, and then you have load it again. That is why it is not done IRL.

2000 hours in and ive gotten 11.7 germany 8.0 in america isreal italy france and russia, everything else is around 2.7-4.7 thats just tanks, my german planes are at 6.7, the grind is long

how about just make it take 2-3x longer to unload a shell vs normal loading... a fair trade id say, there are times id take the penalty just to not give away my position, or waste my last shell.

Idk what you guys think of this but I kinda like the idea of event vehicles being buyable for convertible RP. For example I want the IS7 really bad but because i didnt play wt during the event I have to spend as much as my car just to get it if its even available. But ive been playing wt for a while now and I have about 25 million convertible rp. Lets say I want an is7 now I can get it for like 30m convertible rp or something. And ik the gaijin market also kind of makes this seem weird but maybe they could do where the convertible rp cost changes based on rarity of the vehicle so maybe the is7 is 35 million bc its rare and the QN506 is 5 bc its less rare or something and they could easily make the price change with how many vehicles come and go on the gaijin market. And it would kind of give people a choice too. Do i wanna buy my way through a tree and use my convertible rp? Do i wanna spend money to buy the vehicle right away on the gaijin market? Or do i wanna save my convertible rp to get the vehicle for free but just have to wait longer and play some more. It also kind of gives F2P players a way to get some event vehicles they missed. Please give me feedback on this if you guys think of anymore flaws things to add or if this idea is just plain out bad.

While I can understand the idea of FOMO (not that I agree with it), it just doesn’t work when the vehicle was available once 5 years ago and has never been available since. It’s just sitting there wasting away. If I wanted to play a specific vehicle and downloaded war thunder to play that vehicle, only to find out that it’s impossible to obtain I might not even play the game at all.

Please no more crafting events, they were awful. Just reduce the grind. That's it. That's all we need. The game has like 1000 vehicles to research and spade, it's insane. I'm not saying they need to remove the grind entirely, but dropping the RP requirements for modifications by 30-40% accross the board would be a good start.

CRAM capable vehicles. If the ranges of ground ordonance keeps increasing and the SAMs can't keep up, at least give us vehicles that can reliable shoot missiles and bombs out of the sky.
I would like to see the graphics improve of each vehicle. e.g. Chains swaying to and fro or the camo net swinging in the wind. Also a sound when the vehicle drives the metal on metal scratching. I mean things can not be that tightened right?
I do not have problem with amount of XP you need to unlock the vehicle. But I think the rank should not be locked untill you grind 4+ vehicles. 3vehicles of same rank should be enaugh in GF. In Air Forces the lock is useless, it works only for arcade. Ships should not have any lock at all. The bigest problem in my opinion is the amount of XP you need to spade the vehicle. You are basicaly forced to play with scrap for the first 10-15 battles. I undersgand gaijin want to sell the modules,but the prize is ridiculous 300-500 GL for module you do not even need?
