- Veri Subbo Challenge, also known as "vsc" is the hardest challenge in Geometry Dash, in this video I will be talking about the history of the level, and what makes it so difficult.
Correction: It has been brought to my attention that the cps of the spams in vsc is 9.7cps, not 11. nevertheless, it's still very fast and difficult.

well, there is actually a player called caleger sitting in the dark, waiting for his time to shine with his ship challenges (nerfed murk, indigo, evil, all of them have potential to be top 1), now it is how caleger can spend time to beat them, cuz he is very determined that he spent nearly 200k attempts just to do 9 clicks in a short straight fly

about the video, i actually can't believe VSC has been a top 1 challenge for this much of time. I remember I was still on school when I saw it getting verified by bo (falsely) and now I've finished school and I am here, and still see it at the top. lets see what will happen with it in the future

vsc was way too ahead of its time when vsc was verified tartarus was top 1 and tartarus is now out of the top 30 vsc was only dethroned as the hardest level when silent clubstep was verified

@empt2 opinions on vsc are weird because Paqoe says its way harder than silent clubstep, Doggie says its around sakupen circles difficulty, and if you were to ask nev they would say not top 15 so I would say it's subjective because I've never seen a level with more conflicting placements

Some of you may have forgot that vsc + any more required clicks = harder
I just find that the challenge list is generally not as motivated to push the difficulty cap right now, because a lot of the top players don't really play the game anymore

Final Flight, BLEED, and Delirium all were verified recently, but yeah 2023 was a very inactive year for the challenge list
One top 1 challenge with open verification is Sylvestere. It's one of my favorite challenges and I would love to see it verified.

I mean slaughterhouse’s gameplay is a lot more consistent than Sakupen circles. Despite it being harder than sakupen circles.

The worst part about people who actually try to make a top 1 challenge is that those people have to find a verifier. I made one called Chagrin, which was pretty hard, maybe top 1 considering the FPS requirements, but the biggest factor for VSC not being dethroned because it’s impossible for actual top 1 challenges to get verified
I have about 12,000 attempts on VSC and so far ive made it to.... 9%. Its either I really suck, or this is just on the edge of the human limit xD. Awesome video man, keep going!

The tartarus of the challenge list

Putting it into perspective, Tartarus was #1 for 1 year and 8 months, and VSC has been top 1 for 2 years and 8 months so far (a whole extra year), and even 3 months longer than CYCLOLCYC has been top 1 on the ILL

1:39 that spam is only around 8 cps and the easiest one of the VSC spams. The first and the second spams are slightly faster at around 9 cps and miles harder

This video reminded me that I made a challenge a year ago named now or never (it's uploaded on my yt btw) and was supposed to be the hardest humanly possible challenge, a year after no one seriously tried to get some good runs.

Nah Aeternus is like miles harder than VSC, not even close. Shit has some outrageous timings with 78 120 fps frame perfects. Im pretty sure if you combine some wave parts of the level, it would still be harder than VSC despite waves being easiest parts of the level

The problem is that no one has made anything harder. If someone makes a harder good looking level then people will go for it, also the person running the challenge list sometimes will say “ye, im not adding it since I don’t like the level”
there are lots of levels that look good that are top 1, it's just getting top players with motivation to beat them

There are top demons in the official demon list harder than vsc, let that sink in.

like 10 different people have beaten vsc the only thing preventing one of them from beating something harder then it (even if its just slightly harder) is a creator to make the level and a lot of dedication to beat that level

@@somerandomguyinyt177 so there are 2 seperate lists, the demon list has rated levels. the challenge list (the one vsc is on) has unrated levels under 30 seconds in length

I just remembered when people were debating that becoming a CS:GO pro was harder than being a GD top player, I think 2 years ago that was true but now we're way past that, like there are only 3 people in the world that were able to beat TW and Avernus and it's not like GD is a dead game it has fierce competition
From a mental standpoint I'd rather be a CS pro too, no way you're catching me playing VSC without therapy sessions and drugs
it entirley depends, at least with GD it's entirley personal and you have no time limits or anything like that, in CS you are competing with other players whixh makes it a bit harder

@@GadoGD i've practised anodyne quite a bit and the double clicks are INSANELY hard to pull off, out of 2k atts i could do the first double click 0 times (3 and 4th click of the level), i consider anodyne harder, the verifier pulls off tops 50 challebges in 10/20k atts, but he needed 200k to beat anodyne, i think it would be harder, your video is really cool, you're getting a sub :)

@@GadoGD and after all waves which are similar to the wave in VSC in terms of difficulty, the cube begins, and the cube is also an extreme challenge. Ivav 12 (ayrelia) why he playing legitimate he died on that cube and leave from the game. After he died again on that cube and total he died 2 times, and so many died on a first spam

no the challenge list community is great imo. I'm playing it still and there are many other top players doing the same. Allowing Cbf was a great change.
