It's equally a Sarah channel as much as a car channel...in fact I tune in for garage updates and VLOGs just as much as wrenching videos so don't apologize about treating yourself to a desk upgrade. 🙂👍
Surely. Some years ago I had a place in a community parking where some wild cats were living and I saw many times the mother cats moving the puppies around under the warmer car. In winter you always got cat footprints on the hood as the cats climbed upon them for sleep.
Nice!! BTW...That floor brace where the seats bolt to, is a side impact structural member..probably better to leave it or install another brace across the floor.
WHEW!!! Focus, MR2, and garage organization! Nothing better. I said it before and will say it again, "I look forward to the MR2 driving video. Looking forward to your concentrated look and smile." You wringing out the DOS will be a highlight of your TH-cam career. Thank you for this one, Sarah! 👍
I'm a nerdy bioscientist with kids who run when I get nerdy about something. When you Sarah, however, go all geeky about auto mecahanics, they are glued to the screen watching every move you make. One of these mornings, I expect to go into my garage and find one of my vehicles taken apart by my older daughter.
A little tip on carrying a seat a little easier: put your right hand between the seatcushion and the backrest grabbing the edge of the seatcushion and grab the front of the seatcushion with your other hand. To take a bit of the waight away, you can rest the top of the backrest on your shoulder 😉
Thank you for clarifying the future for Mr. Dos, Sarah. I believe many of we subscribers will really enjoy a detailing and “Car Review” video after all the amazing work you’ve put into it. Cheers.
My wife used to clean a house where they had a cabinet kitty. Our orange gremlin sleeps in the garage at night. Spring clamps are so much better looking than cheap worm gears and you don't have to worry about tightening them.
I love how your standards are reflected in your finished work. Shiny, spotless, functional or removed, tied stowed or bolted, always aligned. A pleasure to behold, thank you.
Glad to see another rally car being added to the Arizona community! I help organize and setup local rallyx events here in Tucson... now being moved to casa grande. I also own a rally shop in Tucson, FabAllMotorSports. If you ever have any questions or concerns feel free to send us a message or to stop by!
The MR2 is a hot little car and I am excited to see it on the road or track, but I watch the channel because of you. You are an quirky and interesting personality.
Again amazing MR2. I always liked those cars but what makes it so cool is the level of detail you took in updating it and repairing it. Your attention today detail can and does carry over to your other projects No worries people will continue to watch your channel as you for your attention to detail is very unique.
You have a wicked sense of humor and I like your jokes. Keep 'em coming. I can see that the Focus is going to take a tremendous amount of work. A real challenge. I am sure you are up for it. Lots of different skill sets.
Although I'm not a car enthusiast, engineer, or a mechanic, you are very detailed in your videos and very instructive. It occurs to me that you could be on a racing team. Be safe, stay safe!
I love the work your doing to the focus! I have an 07,same color blue but non svt.Ive done a shit ton of replacing the old warn out parts,so much that practically the whole drive train and more are new
Sarah, I just love your video's. You have the perfect style that makes this content exciting (ok, mildly interesting) Keep it going, you are a joy to watch.
Seat onto extra bars in cage, not into floor, get Charlie to do a couple smaller diameter bars from outer sill to tunnel. There are kits out there but should be easy to make your own.
As a huge kiwi fan of Sarah's channel (well I'm not huge...but anyway, I digress) big shout out to Racetech. And thanks Sarah for your obviously excellent taste!!
Make sure the car's structural strength stays intact at all times! You can go either way when mounting the seats, but I would not remove anything more from the floor. Personally I would add a bar at the bottom of the rear sides of the cage, going across and mount a plate on top of that. The forward end of the plate can be attached to the inner structure. Make sure you try your fit before you start welding/putting things together and work out the ideal seating position for just YOU. Some cars have an offset steering wheel position and you might want to move your seat to the left or right a tad. And I am not sure what regulations say about angles of mounted seats but you are quite tall and you need to be a comfy AND able to heel and toe/heel and toe;)
Sarah, I've been watching your channel for a while now. Your videos are great to watch. Thanks for putting together the content you provide. Your personality, antics, sarcasm, and skill set all get displayed well. =)
I’m going a similar direction with my Mk6 Golf TDI build. I’ve always loved rally cars. Won’t be for competition as it’s a daily driver, but more meant for spirited driving and reliability on our less than perfect roads. I also regularly drive some dirt roads.
While Mr. Dos' exterior is mostly stock, I think, there is a sleekness and flow that make it a stellar example. Of course, the color and those gorgeous wheels are a big contributor. While it is not stock, the level of detail and cleanliness should make it a concours contender.
The MR2 is such a love hate unique car.. Many people will obviously love or hate it but in reality as odd as the car is. You have truly made the MR2 a gorgeous car, please dont ever get rid of her they are very rare in there class but you have done an immaculate job with her. I use to be into tuner cars in my younger days, im the same age as you now however im big into muscle cars & the smell of ethenol fuel & meth addicted cars 😁😍🤤😱😝 i as a car enthusiast & professional mechanic Love watching your videos & content, hopefully someday we can cruise our builds together at a car meet or something if you tend to goto those. Keep up the unique awesome content & much much Love coming to you from Texas!!
The doesn't matter which car your working on I subscribe to your channel because it's just a lot of fun to watch and listen to and see what you get into next.
Dear Sara, dont remove the side seat, its structure for side impact, you shoild keep it or, brace it with tubbing of cromollly or carbon steel depe ding on your budget. Regards itch!!!
I’m glad you’re still going to make Mr Dos content, you know I’m all about the MR2! But I’m also excited to see how Mr Codsworth progresses. Keep up the awesome work! 👍🏻
Looks like sir Cosworth is coming along nicely looks nice and safe glad you have a place to mount your vice, I also have wanted you to drive MR. Dos But more importantly enjoy driving him I think you will looking forward to the ranger review it’s supposed to be a pretty nice little truck stay well stay safe🐧🐧🐧👍
I learned how to drive in an older non-SVT Focus and I bought a Subaru to daily until I use it as a rally project car at some point, so coming across your channel with this video just hit a soft spot of mine lol
Hi Sarah the ftont seat mount on the sir codsworth is apart of the structure of him. You may have to get the differnt mounts for you seats or you could adjust the rear mounts. I first watching your vids because of mr dose 👍and I like all your content you make. 👊😎👍
The correct tool for a job isn't necessary. It just makes it so much easier.
It's equally a Sarah channel as much as a car channel...in fact I tune in for garage updates and VLOGs just as much as wrenching videos so don't apologize about treating yourself to a desk upgrade. 🙂👍
Trust when I say the MR2 is not the only reason we watch you videos!
Butters knows the warmest spot in the house right above the heat exchanger of the fridge.
dazaspc ohhhhhhhhh, that makes sense!
@@SarahnTuned Cats love places in higher positions. I know cause i have two of these princess. ;-)
Countdown until Butters gets his own social media presence. lol

I sub'd for the car content and your personality!!! Don't care what you are working on, you make it fun and pleasant!
"I go the extra mile for TH-cam" that was precious.
Racetech whaaaat?!? New Zealand represent. Didnt expect that on this channel
Nice!! BTW...That floor brace where the seats bolt to, is a side impact structural member..probably better to leave it or install another brace across the floor.
When I'm sad, I watch your videos and I feel better😍

Thanks for the wrap on Tater and Dos. Am now stoked to learn about a Rally build, and yay for Sir Cogsworth!

IT never hurts to ask, gracias Racetech.

That is the coolest funnel set up I've ever seen!
I literally thumbs up every video as soon as it uploads before watching cause i know I'll love it. Keep it up Sarah!!
The MR2 is a hot little car and I am excited to see it on the road or track, but I watch the channel because of you. You are an quirky and interesting personality.
The MR2 is restored!! Congratulations! I know you're not done with it but that's a sweet milestone.

Your jokes are 🔥🔥🔥
NEVER FORGET THAT
I love watching Sarah work on these cars. I've finished TT, MR2, Sir Codsworth. Starting on Gump now! Such great work, Sarah.
You have a wicked sense of humor and I like your jokes. Keep 'em coming.
I can see that the Focus is going to take a tremendous amount of work. A real challenge.
I am sure you are up for it. Lots of different skill sets.
I love budders 🧡
Awesome to here about the RaceTech sponsorship out of New Zealand, my home country! Looking forward to seeing whats next for the Focus and TT!
Yeah ! I like that work bench 🧐
WOW! Charlie did a fantastic job on the cage!
Edinburgh fridge magnet. Sweet.
Finally you got a bench! Nice one too. That will make life easier I think. Best to mount seats to roll cage. More stronger.
I didn't think I would miss the TT but, I really do. Every time I see it, it makes me sad seeing it just sit there
Although I'm not a car enthusiast, engineer, or a mechanic, you are very detailed in your videos and very instructive. It occurs to me that you could be on a racing team. Be safe, stay safe!

Moto-crossed for many years. Currently flat tracking. Its the bomb. Speed rules. Wanna try it? What looks easy can fool you.
I started watching for the TT content, and was pretty meh about the MR2 ... but now the MR2 looks awesome ! Great job Sarah.
You are always entertaining and fun to watch, keep the great videos coming.
Cats in the cupboard make this video at least 112 percent better than other TH-camr video's.

Loving the MR2. The Focus looks like it's gonna be another great project too. By the way, you can never have too many dirt bikes! 👌😍😍😍
OMG!! That shirt combo!!!!
Cupboard cat knows where it's at!
@6:18 those crossmembers that the seats are on are structural and they are for side impact. If you remove them you should replace them with tubing.
Tenatious _E Side impact? it has a roll cage now that will have door bars.
@@SarahnTuned Regardless, keep them in, reducing body rigidity and strength is a no no.
@4:31 Looks REAL nice too!
We don't care what you work on...we just love to watch you work!
So pleased Teeter Tot is coming back, looking forward to seeing work on it. Have the V6 myself so super interested!
I used to have a ZTS Focus I was going to upgrade I ended up giving it to title max in Phoenix but now I moved to Northen Western Arizona by Nevada.
Eastwood with Aluminum capability. You can fab it BB!

Sarah I fell in love with you after watching Z segment! Your reviews are very entertaining! Well done!😊
I just LOVE your puns!!!!!
I prefer the first hole up from the bottom, HAA HA, your humor is contagious ,
Those wheels make the whole car!
It’s always satisfying when coming together.... sorry couldn’t help it ....😀
Usually aiming for the second hole from the bottom works best.
I love that new car smell!!!🤠
I dig her videos funny AF, static display 👍 also, I called it, I knew you would be using your review trucks to haul around parts. Smart smart girl..

I’ll miss my regular dose of Mr. Dos but something tells me Sir Cosworth is going to be epic. Great channel.
Enjoy your day and your ride with Ms Dos
I love those Spring clamps, I actually think they work better than the warm gear ⚙️!
Hope the fires are not getting near you Sarah, Stay Safe!
