That Syncro is looking very Pinzgauer-esq! I used to have an 1989 LT35 in same colour….was just like driving a bus in that forward control front end design with huge steering wheel (no power steering) and what looked like a 3ft tall gear stick😬 🤣
You guys need to get snatch straps or kinetic ropes. It's much better when you are pulling out a stuck vehicle. It's a lot less shock load on recovery points. Good fun though, nice video.
Diff locks are great but simex extreme trekkers are what’s needed in the mud. I had a trayback king cab defender with unimog axles….hydraulic steering and the lot..Full lockers were great but had pit bull tyres that were too wide (rock crawler tyres) and was useless in mud……did drive over the tyres at Frickley though….never seen anyone else do it…. Best in mud was a truck I had with Detroit locker on rear with simex running 5 psi or summat daft with bead lockers…unstoppable! Get some better tyres lads!!!
@@DarksideDevelopmentsnothing is cheap these days… My comment about tyres was more banter than advice. You guys clearly know what you are doing and it’s all about compromise. Good off-road usually sacrifices good on road….ok if you’re doing a winch challenge event and trailering a vehicle to the site but aggressive tyres on the tarmac are noisy, they vibrate and they wear down very quickly……you know all this…there is no perfect do-all setup but your vehicles are fine examples the closest you’ll get to this…..what you have done with the V10 is everything I would dream for in a modified 4x4👍🏻
Mate that tray back Defender sounds like an absolute Beast why did you get rid of it😂 can't beat an old Land Rover especially if they have diff lock then they are unstoppable triple locked disco or Defender challenge truck will literally go anywhere and yes I agree these tyres seem to be fat on the Touareg that's why they are getting stuck in the mud if they had insa turbos or like you said simex extreme trackers like on Land Rovers than they do a lot better. What was the truck you mentioned at the end of your comment. I still don't think you can beat an old Land Rover though they are so simple to work on and modifications are endless. A triple lock disco or Defender will literally go anywhere they are unstoppable beasts can't beat them😂
That disco could have made it up that big hill if you were to give it more beans also the touaregs seem to be good at hills but not very good in the mud. Thats why you cant beat a landy.
We have these listed on our website: www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/search-results/?q=touareg%20light%20bar&narrow=%5B%5B%22cs_group_visibility%22%2C%224%22%5D%5D
Love to see what the darkside lads could do with a 3rd gen jimny, good starting car for offroading and would like to see what they would do with it mod wise
Hi man. I heard that the comments section is where people come to moan about videos that tell the truth, so u can't be saying it rains all the time in Scotland 😂

We did use a Kinetic, at least on the Touareg V10 to T3
I have been looking forward to this video like you wouldn't believe. Thankyou!
Part 2 will follow very soon 👍

They're on the list, although £1k on another set of tyres makes us feel a little sick

I love that V10. Everyone I see you do videos on it O end up on eBay looking for one…
Reminds me of Ukraine's rasputitsa, the only thing that is missing are enemy drones hunting for stuck vehicles :) Peace to all and happy Easter!
I've got a drone we could mount a release switch on it 😂😂😂😂😂😂 new game of tag
Word of the day “STUCK”😂😂👍
Love the Syncro!
that wasnt messing about it went everywhere haha
It surprised everyone!
What a place g and team are class 👌
Love the progression with these vws
What’s the storage box on the back of the amarok? Looks slick
They are from a company called Daken, we installed them on this video here - th-cam.com/video/IBZTkxCugjY/w-d-xo.html
What’s the bar on the Touareg the 4 spot lights are on? After a similar set up. I have the lights just want a bar to fit 4 on.

No wonder you ain’t climbing anything by looking at them tyre pressures 😮

Hi really like your video what farm
House did you stay at up there we are trying to plan a trip for end of may on quad bikes
We've forgotten what it was called and can't find it unfortunately
Do you guys do remote tuning? I have a 1.9TDi PD100 BEW that beiing built for 200-240bhp
We do, drop us an email to sales@darksidedevelopments.co.uk with reg/vin and we can run you through powergate remote tuning for you
You need a set of cooper stt pros on the v10. Proper tyres
Not tried the Cooper STT Pros, they look very similar to the Grabber X3's we were running though. Just replaced them with 35" Geolander MT's
It has 35s now!
And after all that the VW Bus comes out tops :-)
Haha, it did well
Bit too muddy in it lol. But dryer weather but be a bit more fun i think. Great video though 👌
All part of the fun!
Should of had some traction boards under front wheels of v10
would have needed them all day!
Seems like fuel is too cheap in the UK.
Not cheap at all
Proper day out 😂
Belle vidéo 👌 😉. Super 👌 👍 😉
Hi man. I heard that the comments section is where people come to moan about videos that tell the truth, so u can't be saying it rains all the time in Scotland 😂
Just up the road from me
That disco an MPI 🤢 lol
Where is thid
Drumclog .. it's about 30 miles south of Glasgow
I’m mean, looks ok lol but looks like just a bunch of bogs and a lot of hassle getting unstuck 😂not sure it’s worth the trip from Devon 😅
If you can tie it in with another trip up to Scotland we would definitely recommend it.
It was bad conditions, its probably worth holding out for the summer as its suppose to be completely different
It had been raining up here pretty much every day for 2 weeks straight 😬
👌
You guys need proper off road tyres. All terrains are no good in the mud lol 😂
some had them and the result was similar!
