    One of my favorites. Especially appreciate the demo on the intake valve.

      I enjoy showing off these tools!! It's almost as satisfying as the restorations.

    The color turned out great 👍 👌

      When I go out looking for some of these vintage colors I'm always worried they won't be there. Krylon's line of colors have saved me more than once.

      @@OneNationRestorations what's the actual color you used?

    • @OneNationRestorations
      @OneNationRestorations  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Matte wild honey. Who knew that was a shade of yellow, ha ha.

    • @OneNationRestorations
      @OneNationRestorations  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There's another yellow I use called John Deere Yellow if you need a vintage look with a brighter yellow.

      @@OneNationRestorations i also need a vintage orange. Do you have one of those?

    Sandblasting the painted surface layers off the parts looks really satisfying to do.

    Nicely done. It would be good to fine a source for replacement rubber. I have a few of these old valve tools that need the rubber part.

    • @OneNationRestorations
      @OneNationRestorations  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's humbling to hear from people that have first hand experience with vintage tools like this. If I ever find a lead on the rubber part, I will definitely let you know!

    This tool is wicked awesome. How does it compare to the normal lapper they sell today?

    • @OneNationRestorations
      @OneNationRestorations  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly, it actually works way better than I thought it would. I'd still rather use a modern day Lisle lapper.

      @@OneNationRestorations No, i just prefer the ASMR or power tools sound and i think that your description kinda distracted me from your work. Anyway this is only MY personal thinking
