Awesome nature 🥰. if I had a farm in that area, and woke up every morning to these sounds, I would live to be 100 years old 🤣. That is what it does to the soul ❤
What a treat thank you! And the photos too! My favourite kind of holiday includes waking up in a tent to the sound of birdsong - I need to get to the E. Cape!
The Ring-necked Dove call dominates many soundtracks of the African bush. I love their call too, 'work harder' is what some people think they are singing.😃
Thank you - that was heavenly. How about something similar at the sea with gulls screeching and whatever other birds might oblige? But anyway, this is truly lovely
Great idea! Only problem is the waves are so loud when I record there that it often drowns out the bird song but I will try at very low tide. My microphone is extremely sensitive and picks up even the slightest sounds, so waves crashing on the shore sound extra loud.
Would love a list of the birds. I humbly hear the following: Cape turtle dove Acacia pied barbet Bokmakierie Red faced mousebird ( or other mousebird) Dark capped bulbul Cape robin chat Black collared barbet Bar throated apalis tambourine dove Souther boubou Southern double collared sunbird Olive bush shrike
Every morning should start like this!
I agree 100%!
What a perfect morning concert to set the tone for the day. Thank you Lynette 😊
Our pleasure!
Magical... Thank you so much for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a great sound scape!
Thanks, a few km out of Grahamstown.
Ek kan my verbeel dat ek daar iewers onder 'n boom sit en hierdie klanke indrink, pragtig, dankie!
Dis 'n groot plesier!
Stunning, places one in the very real bush as in the picture.. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it

Glad you enjoyed it. There is no better way to wake up but to the sound of birds in the Eastern Cape bush.
Perfect morning thank you Lynette and I love the sound of RING-NECKED DOVE over there❤️

All right except for the bulbul. In this area it is the Dark-capped Bulbul.
