    Does anyone know where I can have mine repaired? The spool has detached itself from the spindle.

    Hi Terry, talking Broadbeans, I harvested and had some for my tea tonight, a real treat, along with Peas and Cabbage from the allotment. These were Bunyards exhibition sown this year, harrassed 😀 as usual by the black fly. My overwinter ones were flattened by the bad storm, but I can't grumble, as my shed, polytunnels and greenhouses stayed up. All the best, John

    Very nice harvest Terry. I have a workx strimmer. Its light weight. Battery can last between 15 to 20 minutes depending on what I'm strimming. Thankfully we have 3 batteries as got two drills as well. A nice new plot holder has offered to lend me his petrol mower as my plot is fairly flat. I will pay for the petrol. So might be just strimming edges in future.

    Just tried to assemble mine but the gap in the auxiliary handle is so narrow that it is impossible to fit over the red bit that goes round the shaft. Maybe I am doing something wrong but I am a big strong bloke and tried every which way but with the adjustment washers it just won’t happen. Will try and contact sup pliers in UK to get a replacement aux handle in the hope that that fits otherwise it goes back to Amazon

      A fellow plot holder has enquired the same as you Nigel so I have said try before you buy so hopefully I will find out the battery life, used it for 10 minutes and it hardly moved the lights. I like the high low power mode and as Digwell has said keeping it going saves on the cord.

  • @DigwellGreenfingers
    @DigwellGreenfingers 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    It may be worth mentioning but the longer you keep the strimmer running the more economical it will be with the cutting cord. It auto feeds every time the trigger is pulled and wastes a few centimeters - even more so with a dual-line one like this.

    Sounded quite powerful for the low noise, not a fan of the D handles and looks a bit short in length to be comfortable for extended use if you're not vertically challenged. Talking of shorts, even electric stimmers should not be used without adequate PPE. Just saying if anyone chooses to do so they should give don't be like me warning or some smart arse will try and sue. Take care and stay Safe Terry

    Why bother....just buy Stihl, it's the best. Otherwise, you'll end up with mediocre performance and end up buying three until you end up buying a Stihl anyways, because it's the best, and will last for years and years. All you need is one high speed....because what you need is more power, not less, and with only one battery.
