- Hi Guys ,
CISS or Continuous Ink Supply System are used vastly to covert an inkjet Printer to an Inktank Printer. But Installation of Ciss Kit is always a tricky and lengthy task.
If Ciss is setup correctly then there will be no problem in future but if not setup correctly then there will be leakage from the printer.

Can you please instruct the problems which arises after installing CISS kit to deskjet printer as many of the offline stores suggest not to buy CISS because after some days the cartages become dry or any other problem will arrise, or mey get damaged. I have installed ciss kit and it is installed successfully, but there is some issue arising with levels of the inks, even after refilling with the ciss kit it isn't able to print even 2-3 pages (problem only with black and magenta ink).
And there are also lines in the print plus it is leaking too on the page while printing.
And the quality of the print has deteriorated.
Please suggest the cure for the issue

@@FactTech14 actually it seems like the coloured cartridge has some problems with magenta colour. Even with manual refilling and using suction tool magenta colour isn't printing.
Right now black cartridge is ok after using suction tool again and I've removed the colour cartridge and the ciss kit for now.
How long can I use the cartridge with CISS kit on average?
Cartridge duty cycle is approx 800-1000 pages , so about upto that much prints one can use ciss but the numbers may vary
Hi, thanks for the video. I have a question - if the printer is showing low ink levels (because we are using refilled cartridges) can we ignore it and continue printing or will the printer firmware prevent printing? I have a HP 3835 printer.

Ciss should be placed higher or lower? Does it flow with gravity or capillary?

Ciss can be kept beside the printer on the same level as that of the printer.
It flows by both the mechanism i.e g force and capillary effect ....

The middle hole is to be used for filling black ink. The adjacent holes will not get filled up

For students I always suggest inktank printers , because ciss may cause problem sometime and may damage the Cartridge and printer if not installed properly
- usually a cartridge duty cycle is 1000 pages ( that is after 1000 pages print the cartridge will be damaged ) but that doesn't mean one can perfectly print 1000 pages after ciss installation ...

Ink leaking from cartridge. How to control the flow of the ink? Kindly advice
For the 1st time it will leak , please close the stopper and when needed open the stopper slightly so that the ink can flow in drops inside the cartridge
Thx, no stopper provided by the kit. Any other way to controll the flow. Only cyan ink is leaking and black ink .
Try to keep the pipes adjacent to the printer , ink flow can be controlled to some extent

@@FactTech14 thnx but both were too much dried so I opened both then cleaned sponge and body than refilled and printed it worked 🎉 but after 10 color prints cartiage was damaged although it was already damaged but black works like charm.I got the new color cartiage and installed the ciss kit today as per the instructions you gaved in previous video

One needs to only open the stopper slightly for 10-15 sec and close it , within that time the amount of ink that would have flown will be sufficient to print approx 30 prints and than again continue the same process

Yes you can do that jaskirat,
After removing ciss keep the Cartridge ideal for 1 hr and let the ecxess ink leak and then insert it in the printer and check if the cartridge is detected by printer or not...if detected then you can refill manually

Try making a hole or cut a small part from one side of the door to insert the pipes , in this way the door won't open again

It usually won't happen but still it is advisable to use the printer in every 10-15 days to avoid clogging
