In this Video i have explained the complete step by step process of how to setup a CISS kit i.e Continuous Ink Supply System for Hp 2131 Inkjet Printers bearing Cartridge HP 803
The Same steps can be followed for any HP inkjet Printers
For other Companies Inkjet or Deskjet Printer please check the color sequence of the cartridge and follow the above steps.

Thank you for the very good explanation. I suggest not putting the tanks at the top of the printer as it will really leak if you keep it for longer than 1 min. I mean keep it aside> Good luck to all.

It's better to keep the ciss at printer level , and after usage of ciss please close the stopper / control knob and similarly before using open the knob

It's original yield is 400 pgs for black and 300 pgs for color.
It will be same if you are refilling it with syringe

Your illustration and methodology is very good but it is not easy to upgrade cartridge printer to ink tank printer, it requires an expert who can perform the job with great precision. We will definitely need an expert printer mechanic to accomplish the job. Many a times, with all precautions, we fail to refill the ink into cartridge successfully.

First things first, very detailed, informative and educative video and I enjoyed it completely! I followed all your steps and to install the same in my HP DESKJET 2135 printer and just after installation, the color print was mind-blowing and when all the prints were done, I shut off the valve, but next morning, the problem began as:
1. When I tried to take the print, the output was blank/clotty, just like a print made by a empty cartridge.
2. I took out few pages by keeping the CISS tank on top of printer, the print started but there was a huge ink spill on each print out especially on paper boundaries and corners even after placing the CISS tank just in level with printer.
Now, what to do, is this any installation problem or is there anything that needs to be fixed as now I am so frustrated, that I am thinking to buy a new Ink tank printer. Please hep me out!

The Ciss that you have installed is a good one.
Now about the problem -
take your cartridges out and remove the ciss pipes and keep it ideal for 5-6 hrs with the ink outlet part facing the ground untouched , as to remove the extra ink inside through natural leakage
Clean the cartridge with a normal white cloth completely ( avoid touching the copper part )
Put the pipes back on and then insert it back in the printer.
open the Ciss Knob ( stopper ) for 1 minute and let the ink flow in the cartridge and then close the stopper .
Try giving print , make sure to use good quality or original ink ... In many cases i have seen people using substandard ink which is very less viscous i.e like water and that is one of the reason for leakage , hp original inks are more Viscous i.e in hindi thoda mota
@@FactTech14 Thanks! My tri color cartridges is now not working, as now it's not being detected by printer, but black one is, so have decided to buy new cartridges both and then reinstall the same, as for ink I have been using prodot inks, but now will buy hp inks for ciss tank.

Great video, one issue, the color print at the end will still use the cartridge ink not the ciss ink, can you do a color compare after the tank is half? It would be interesting to see if there is any difference between stock ink and ciss ink

Turn off the printer and remove the cartridge, clean the cartridge with a clean cloth ( mostly the ink outlet part ) and then try again

Sir.. my cartidges are more than a year old and I have been refilling them since a couple of months. Should I continue with that or buy a new one first?
Secondly, plz explain me if we have to change the cartidge after every 1000 prints, then what is the purpose of converting it into a inktank variant?
cartidges are wayy expensive ... you could save dolars for every 1000 prints it's a win after all
With time cartridge sponge loses ink capacity. At the beginning you can put 9 ml ink. but after 1 year it can hold only 1ml ink. Then you have to refill every 20 prints.
If you use inktank sponge capacity does not matter. So you dont have to refill again and again.
And also, if you use original or very good quality inks, you can print more than 2000 pages.

@@random9838 Yes I have. With my current cartridge I have done printed 2500 pages. Using original HP GT53xl ink.
I could able to watch it in 30 minutes. Speed 1.5x and some skips :)

Sir im using hp deskjet 2135. I just want to know one thing. The chip the ink cartridge, will do an assumption like how many pages are printed and based on that the ink level will be estimated. Although we try to refill it, it will still show the ink level is not enough because of the paper count printed by the cartridge. So if we use this ciss system, how can it overide that catridge chip?

Dear friend don't put ink tank up side the printer ink leakage will occur and printer will damage maintain inktank level slightly below the level of cartridge s or equal to printer level. I suffered lot due to ink leakage, as my personal experience . Remember at any stage we can repare same printer only don't panic and don't go to buy new one . Explanation is superb .

Hello brother. I have followed your video and do the same as you did. My printer is HP Deskjet 2775 all in one printer. Before installing the CIS Kit it was showing that the Black cartridge was low. But after installing the kit still it is showing low level and when I am giving command black color not coming. But if I take the information page print from the button black color is coming perfectly fine. Now what can I do to? Please suggest
I had tried same funda 2 yrs back.... It works perfectly... Lasted for few months, cartridge become dead...

Thnx for the extensive video. Basic qt is do we need to keep the stopper in closed position or open flow? That part of when to operate the stopper is not mentioned in the video. If we keep the stopper in open or mid position it's obvious that ink will spill over

You can keep the stopper off, just open for 10-15 sec and close that stopper ,in that time sufficient ink will flow in the cartridge and you can give around 30-40 prints ,
