The whole line of MRT is built by a local company named CH. Karnchang PLC or CK on the stock market of TH. The daughter company of CK named BEM ( BKK express& metro) operates all services and maintainnace as a concessionaire for 30 years from the state agency named MRTA. The whole project was financed by a japanese agency called JBIC with the interest rate of 1.5 % for 15 years loan.

    Hi Ethan, Darren here again.
I'm so impressed by the effort you put into your videos, particularly this one.
The titles, music and sound. I can see the amount of work involved. Those little funny sound effects you throw in, crack me up.
Seeing these new stations was amazing. The infrastructure there blows my mind. It reminds me of the Tokyo rail system, but better.
I've mentioned before, I was in Bangkok for a month this past May and I can't get it out of my head. I want to go back for longer. I stayed in a hostel private room, but next time I want to stay in a condo for 2-3 months. Figuring out how to find a place is frying my brain though.

Wow... I'm a Thai but learning about new things in BKK from you again lol (been too busy with work to even notice there are new MRT stations!). Since I live on Ratcahda which is MRT line, this will completely open up Yaowarat (China Town) as a place I can go to now. Finally (when I find the time), I will be able to try all the food there. As someone who mainly drives a car to go anywhere, Yaowarat is usually completely off limits due to traffic and parking. So, this is great news!
Also looking forward to your next video about Tha Phra area .. sounds like a nice new place to go explore for me and my wife.

I am sure you know the local low down on what's supposed to be good there! I've been there half a dozen times and I can't say I've been too impressed but it's mainly cause by the time I get there, I am already not in a mood to want to do anything cause I am so tired and it's hot lol

Nice!! Well done. I'm working close to Silom so MUST have a look. And the new MRT is not always underground - BTS like - Albeit I forgot whether some other stops are alike. Thanks once more to the director and technician/model.;-)

This MRT line looks so cool. Makes me want to return to Bangkok. My wife and I were there last month. Our first time there. Had a good time but we also fell for that taxi scam because the guy seemed cool. But then he kept saying “I take you there but you look another place for me!” 😂 Now I know what to expect in Bangkok so a second visit will be much much better. By the way Ethan, in reference to your comments a while back on Singapore. I totally get what you meant and 100% agree. We went there after visiting Bangkok. Anyway, excellent video! 😁
