Hey I stumbled onto your video while looking for affordable living in Hawaii, it was simple and pretty informative, but I was wondering if you had any info/links to informative websites/forums or anything like that with helpful info on Hawaii's cost of living details! I also wondered if you knew anything about the fishing industry on any of the islands? Like company names, locations, and/or any popular fishing areas where I could find more info. I'd love to move to Hawaii, but I know it's very expensive overall and travel without your own vehicle can be difficult(or lengthy times on the bus), so I was wondering if you knew any links to scooter dealers, and/or cheap food markets that are trustworthy and year round?
Minimum wage here is 9.25/hr, but most unskilled labor and/or retail positions pay between $10 and $15 per hour. Hotel workers make between 16 and 20. But rent on Kauai is currently 1100-1300 for a bedroom or converted garage studio. One bedroom houses are hard to find for less than 1600 monthly. Source: Lived in hawaii for the past ten years.
Do You know whats papers You would need to move to Hawaii if your Jamaican living in Denmark and is married to a Danish man? And how long does it takes to get a permit?
I hope you go to Hawaii and have a great time! The world needs beautiful worldly people like you folks! I bet you have a lot of great stories of your experiences and sounds like very interesting living in such great parts of the world as Jamaica and Denmark, wow! I wish I knew about "permits" and wish the world was open with no borders.
I live here on the Big Island, I'm not living in a fantasy life. If you don't have goals and wish to float around, you'll never make it here. Check off your bucket list and move on.

Water Flow I would go to oahu if I were you Kauai is pretty small with really close friend groups, not as easy to make friends there

It's really fun! Just depends what you like. Fast paced for Hawaii but there are heaps of jobs everywhere so thats nice!
What kind of jobs though? Low paying retail mostly?
